Sorry, but it's not clear to me what the problem here is - the trope description has little indication that popularity is required. So declining the thread.

"Fans of this adaptation/parody can't help but imagine the cast reading the source material" sounds like a no-brainer, right? When I first learned of this trope, I thought it only applied to the most iconic voices of different characters. However, it looks like Tropers also apply it to casts of works that seem kind of obscure (eg, Abridged Series) and/or not universally beloved (eg, the Hulk and Fantastic Four movies from 2003 and '05, respectively).
