You mentioned it was okay for the character to be an animal, so... if I were to do that with a second character, how would the “humanoid” form work?

That's... actually something I haven't thought about.
The things that I thought about most when trying to think of a solution for this were hybrids or anthropomorphic animals.

I'm also going to introduce the concept of Stands.
So I'm going to introduce two characters right now.
Anne
Name: Anne PekoyamaAge: 21
Ethnicity: White Carribean
Description of their appearance: Silver hair tied into a bun, emerald green eyes, often wears a white dress shirt, a cumberbund, black trousers, and black shoes.
Species: Parahuman
Backstory: Anne comes from a line of experiments called "Parahumans", which were people designed to be super soldiers. Anne was one of the last few Parahumans created, and was set to be killed after Parahuman production went south. She ended up meeting Yasuhiro, who took her in. She now works as the co-owner of Yasuhiro's restaurant, Pekoyama House.

Humanoid Form: Narayanastra - A cloaked woman with grey skin wielding a bow and arrow. Named after Vishnu's bow and arrow.
Bestial Form: Sharur - A giant wolf with extended claws resembling daggers. Named after the weapon and symbol of Ninurta.
Yasuhiro
Name: Yasuhiro Hagakure
Age: 29
Ethnicity: White Japanese
Description of appearance: Here.
Species: Human
Backstory: Yasuhiro has somewhat of a troubled life. He was one of the survivors of two "killing games", which is basically a real life murder mystery. He later met Anne, and took her in. They built a restaurant called Pekoyama House, which he is the owner of.

Element: Sand
Humanoid Form: Tyr - A humanoid which looks similar to Silver Chariot, but with sand yellow armour instead of silver armour. Named after a Norse god.
Bestial Form: Jormungand - A giant sand yellow snake. Named after a sea serpent in Norse Mythology.
