The Lovecraft Country page notes that Stephen King typically sets his stories in Northern New England (Maine) whereas Lovecraft tended to set his stories in Southern New England (Rhode Island and Massachusetts). The page even makes a distinction between Lovecraft Country and King Country. Do you think it would be a good to divide the examples between Lovecraft Country and King Country?

I'm not saying we should do a hard split. I was thinking of creating separate folders for Lovecraft and King country examples, representing works set in Southern New England and Northern New England respectively. The page also contains examples of horror set in the Northeastern United States, but aren't in New England proper. Maybe we could create a separate folder for these examples. Another idea I have is instead of dividing the examples by geography, we divide them by genre. The Lovecraft Country folder could be for straight-up Cosmic horror, while the King Country folder could be for Lovecraft Lite or general horror set in New England. What do you guys think?

I don't know if we need to go that far. Maybe we could create separate folders for Lovecraft and King since they use the trope so much.
