Mecha Game M.A.S.S. Builder Hits Kickstarter, and it Looks Awesome
Reminds me of what Gundam Breaker was attempting, except somehow it looks as if it has more potential.
For one, the physical appearance of your mech is largely cosmetic: most of your abilities are determined by leveling up, or whatever weapon you're carrying in your hands (ex cannons, blades, beam weapons, etc).
It's a Kickstarter project though, so that brings with it all of the unfortunate implications of the team just giving up if things don't shape up.
That is a really low amount of money being asked considering the product they are aiming to make. It makes me suspicious. And the rest of the project they've had are all visual novels or pretty basic stuff, that doesn't help my doubts.

Hence why I'm not holding my breath until this game manages to survive at least a year or so on Kickstarter and show progress - and hopefully not suffer from feature bloat like so many other projects do either.
Still, would be nice to have a mecha game that at least tries to partially scratch that itch akin to Armored Core or Zone of the Enders.
They do have a demo, I'll give it a look later. And I suppose the dev grant they got from Unreal also explains the smaller kickstarter.
