Unfortunately, no, but the Phoenix is also much stronger than Carol, even in her Binary form. As Binary, Carol channeled the power of a star. Phoenix ate a star and is a Cosmic-Level Entity.

Two Stars. Binary star system. Two stars.

... Probably still not enough to take on Phoenix, honestly, but she could probably hold her back for a bit.

I think Carol’s Binary Form is basically just hit & shoot harder & faster.

The Phoenix is a straight up Reality Warping God.

It's definitely close to a classic Super Mode, I half-jokingly claim Carol went Super Saiyan decades before Goku ever did, but she does mention that her Binary form gives her "the power of creation" which was interpreted in one of the games as a massive heal aura to herself and all her party members... But yeah, as much as a Carol fanboy as I am I'll admit it doesn't put her on God-tier levels. It just comes close.

So Carol vs Phoenix would be like Goku vs Beerus.

One can hit punch in the others weight class but said other can just wipe them out of existence with a simple hand gesture.

Power scaling aside, a clash between these two characters would definitely be a hot catfight!

Yes, the whole reason I ask about if the two have ever fought was just for that joke.

Do what you must, I have already won!

Anyway a fight between Carol and Jean would probably go down in a similar way as X-O Manowar taking on Divinity . . . shit, I should take account that people here don’t read Valient.

Basically X-O Manowar is a viking in space armor who has super stength, flight and the powers to create energy construct, thus making him the stand in cosmic hero for Captain Marvel. Meanwhile Divinity is a black Russian who evolved into a god like being who can warp reality around him, making him the Phoenix stand in. In the comic title Divinity, the title character manage to beat Manowar and the team Unity (just think of them as the Avengers of Valiant univese) by basically freezing them in place with some kind of lotus trap. Hell Divinity just let the group win by the end of the comic, simply because he knows he is an OP character.

And with that, I am reflecting on why the fuck any of the Valiant characters don’t have live action movies. They will be perfect rivals to the MCU monopoly.

I'm pretty sure you're the only one that would understand an X-O Manowar and Divinity reference more than a Captain Marvel and phoenix one. XD

Well I actually read Valiant so I know exactly what he’s talking about.

And to think people call comics boring or shit especially if it’s from anime fans. Comics are fucking awesome. [tup] [awesome]

I've read Valiant, too, but mainly Archer & Armstrong, which is fucking awesome. It's basically the Incredible Hercules and Amadeus Cho, except filled with all the conspiracy theories and time travel you can stand.

And with that, I am reflecting on why the fuck any of the Valiant characters don’t have live action movies
Bloodshot is getting his own movie, with Vin Diesel as the title character. Other than that, Valiant has some other stuff in the works, but Bloodshot is the closest to being actually released.

I like the solution for Fury's eye and here is why: I am sure every fan who cared about the question had already made up some scenario in his or her mind. And no matter what, the solution would have been disappointing. Marvel doing something completely off the wall works for me.

Plus, the scars actually look like something scratched Fury.

Although, that one theory he had the Soul Stone under there would have been pretty amusing too.

Well, I kind of like that Fury basically lost his eye sight because he was acting like an idiot. He should have gone and let the eye treated as soon as possible instead of putting it off.

Fury is so nonchalant about losing his one of his eyes too. He's just like, 'Eh, them's the breaks."

It’s a cat owner thing

If you don’t respect a cat or cat like alien’s boundaries you are going to get scratched and you shouldn’t blame the cat for it

I am sure that a Flerken is way more aware of the consequences of his actions than a cat...

Goose seemed to actually quite like Fury, he certainly put up with a lot before he finally had enough and broke out the claws. And given what he COULD have done to Fury then scratching one eye is pretty lenient....

Yeah, that was just Goose telling him to stop doing that, not actually trying to hurt him.

It's just that flerkens are exceedingly dangerous and terrifying, so he wound up hurting Fury pretty badly anyway.

I still think that Fury would have been okay if he had bothered to care for the wound instead of ignoring it until it became infected.

I thought, when Fury said it'll get better, Talos muttered something like "no, it ain't". Implying that the reason it's permanent has to do with Goose being a Flerken.
