Kingdom Hearts: Connection War

And thus the world fell to darkness and was shattered into many worlds. The Keyblade war ended without winners or losers, just a body count of brave souls.

However when the time for war came there were those who made the choice not to fight, but to fly free to what would come after the chaos. The land where they appeared was devoid of all except for them, a virtual paradise from which the foundations could be built up again. Once their roots were planted the more adventurous of the group spread out to explore other worlds and to find others with the strength of character to wield Keyblades, whisking them away from their worlds so they might learn in the new homeland for Keyblade wielders, Scala ad Caelum. There they would be trained to wield their new power and be taught the rules that had been decided on by the Council of Masters. Namely to protect the order of the newly split worlds they would act only as a last resort, a counter measure to darkness that went beyond what the resources of a world could protect against.

But some who had access to the power fell to temptation as darkness stained their hearts, breaking free of the Council and setting themselves up as self styled rulers of various lands, trading back and forth technology and power from other lands so that their rule would be uncontested. To further those ends these traitors created their own force of powerful warriors known as Chain Hunters. While not equal to a Keyblade wielder in practice their use of magics and technology allow for them to close the gap against the defenders of order.

So across many worlds these battles raged on and on, but a change has begun to occur among the Traitors, the first of their number and a former member of the Council of Masters Verex Magistra has begun to move his forces, absorbing the lesser despots in hopes to create a single empire.

To counter act this new threat the Council of Masters have gathered a small group of strong hearted individuals from their number to form a special squad with a single purpose, to breach deep into the Traitor's Empire and free worlds from within while the Council forces aggression on the front lines.

May your heart be your guiding key.

• Jasmine: Princess of Heart, primary domain over freedom. Those who hold her as their favored Princess believe that having the freedom to express themselves and not being tied down are the most important parts of their lives. Known to blaze ahead with powerful abilities, but more often then not end up needing help from their friends after a particular reckless move.

• Belle: Princess of Heart, primary domain over intelligence. Those who hold her as their favored Princess find their strength in knowledge, and are often quite learned due to it. Their abilities are based on constant study and practice, making even the most complicated spells and fighting styles seem natural. Can be a bit awkward around others however.

• Cinderella: Princess of Heart, primary domain over integrity. Those who hold her as their favored Princess have stubborn wills and impossible to break spirits. Even when faced with an impossible task they will keep moving until it is complete or fall while trying. However their stubborn natures can often times land them in hot water.

• Aurora: Princess of Heart, primary domain over purity. Those who hold her as their favored Princess are known to be pure of heart, acting on ideals above all else even in the face of logic. This grants them a greater sense of purpose, as even the most potent darkness will falter at the power of their souls. However they can tend to be a bit naive at times as well.

• Wandering Heart: Princess of ???, primary domain over [unknown]. The bonds will never be broken between friends, and those who act upon this ideal might not even realize that they hold her heart closest to theirs. Even those who are unsure of who they are, or are still forming what they might be are kept within the domain of a princess, and her light will always guide them back to those that matter.

• Fire: Good for direct attacks and destructive power.

• Water: Good for healing spells and debuffs.

• Earth: Good for defense and buff spells

• Air: Good for buffing and attack spells

• Light: The power of the heart, allows for purification and holy spells at the cost of rapidly draining power.

• Name: Glen Niteray
• Age: 18?
• Appearance: Glen at first appears wearing intimidating heavy black and purple armor with some silver pieces, every inch of him covered by the armor at most if not all times. This armor seems to be specially crafted, and exudes a certain dark aura at certain times. Glen himself, despite the glaring angry look on his helmet is a sweet, pretty and young man of around 18 years of age. Glen has dark brown almost black hair, some slight spike to it but mostly straight. As would make sense for someone perpetually wearing heavy armor, Glen has a muscular, strong build, standing about six foot two. Glen's armor comes with a cape and hood, both of those being dark gray. His eyes are an odd light gold color, hinting at where he comes from prior to his amnesia. He's somewhat pale, like he's lived in the dark for a while.
• Keyblade Type: Strength
• Keyblade Appearance: Glen's Keyblade is Doomgazer, a rather perplexingly dark and warlike blade for someone like Glen. It by and large resembles an actual sharp blade, with only twists, multiple pieces and four "teeth" at the edge of the blade showing this is actually a Keyblade. It is mostly black and red, and incorporates an eye design.
• Favored Princess: Wandering Heart
• Favored Element: Dark, Fire
• Home World: "I...honestly couldn't tell you." He just remembers waking up falling out of the sky.
• Personality: Glen Niteray - whoever he may have been before his amnesia - is right now a sweet and kind boy who only really wants to use his power and gifts to help others. He feels a strong bond to made friends, and as his memories wax and wane he finds himself remembering connections he possessed prior. Glen feels acutely lonely - a man without his memories, he tries to help as much as he can, but his naivety and reliance on immediate fight or flight responses can shoot his good intentions in the foot. There's also the matter of Glen's shifts in personality and nature as his memories come and go.
• Backstory: A man who fell from the sky with amnesia, Glen remembers barely even a thing. All he sees is others dressed like him, and then something happened, a fight broke out, an explosion, and then Glen was falling. Then he was within Scala Ad Caelum - and for some reason he was asked a lot of questions. Then he was asked to go along with a group of fellow "Key Wielders". Glen, not the type to decline if help is needed, went along with it.

• Name: Dax Scylar
• Age: 19
• Appearance: A tad large for someone his age, Dax looks tall and fit, but is not as toned as one may believe. He wears the robes of a Jedi, but underneath is a simple gray shirt and black vest, with brown pants and comfortable shoes that have been worn in.
• Keyblade Type: Strength, although his Magic isn't too shabby either.
• Keyblade Appearance: Sky Saber: Dax's Keyblade is dichromatic, it's hilt being a metallic silver with copper elements while his "blade" is a glowing purple, reminiscent of a Lightsaber. The hilt is slightly oblong with a rod down the center, with two long and jagged shapes coming out of either side and reaching out towards the back. The circle and rod are silver while the spikes are copper. The "blade" is slightly longer than other Keyblades, glowing purple with a spiked key bottom instead of a more typical key mouth; There is a keychain based off of the symbol for the Jedi Council.
• Favored Princess: Cinderella.
• Favored Element: Air/Grey; A lot of his Force techniques got transferred into magic, using one of those two elements.
• Home World: Star Wars (Deployment of Order 66)
• Personality: Dax is the Bunny Ears Jedi. He's incredibly young, goofy, and lax, but is also incredibly disciplined and honed on his craft. He's a bold and slightly cynical man, but is more of an Anti-Nihilist than what his cynicism could lead someone to believe. He also has an indomitable will and strong sense of self, including his shortcomings and inner darkness; It's the reason he wass teetering on being a Gray Jedi, and how he could learn a few notable Dark Side Force techniques and still work on the side of good. If anyone's going to be pulling a Riku and channeling their inner Darkness, it's Dax.
• Backstory:
  • It's Episode 3, and Palpatine has just called for all the Jedi to get absolutely oofed. A squad of Clone Troopers come upon Dax Scylar, an uncharacteristically young Jedi, and being to attack. He holds them off, and when he's about to be overpowered... WOOSH! A Seeker comes in and decimates half of the squad, and the duo finish off the squad, the Seeker bringing Dax to Scala ad Caelum...
  • Let's go back a tad. Dax was born-
  • No, not that far! Dax started his training about age 8, as most Jedi do, but he managed to catch on to what he needed to do incredibly fast; Dax was labeled a prodigy at an early age and only grew stronger from there. However, due to his seemingly incredible ability, he grew lazy and cocky, and while he had the discipline to keep him from jumping all the way off the slippery slope, he still fell to the Dark Side, as a sort of easy way out. However, he never fell all the way in, and when gifted the power the Dark Side brings, he lashed out at everyone, only to be stopped by his master, a wise old Jedi who was still leagues ahead of him. After a heart-to-heart, Dax decided that he would harness the Dark Side's power for good, something unheard of (for the most part) at that time. He didn't become a Gray Jedi, just... a really versatile Jedi.
  • He was on mission with a platoon of Clone Troopers by his side when the order was given, but he had gone off on his own to meditate for a bit. His troop came upon him, the order having rewired their brains, and Dax held them off, but their numbers seemed to be too much for the young lad, only for a female Seeker a year or so older than him to swoop in and kick all sorts of Clone behind. Together, they went to Scala ad Caelum, where Dax's purple lightsaber seemed to have disappeared... only to be replaced by a Keyblade. Dax was naturally miffed, but his Keyblade drew a striking similarity to his old saber, and these people just saved his life, so he kept his mouth shut for the time being.
• Trivia:
  • Although it is a common acceptance of fact among member of the council, Dax thinks Midichlorians are a load of crap, and that the Force is much more mystical and all-present, and that it can't be traditionally measured.
  • Dax is stemmed off the idea of having something similar to present-day Riku: Someone who can channel and work in tandem with his darkness without succumbing to it. The only reason he doesn't have Dark magic is because most of his spells are his Force techniques (at least starting out).
  • I also have sheet ideas for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Silent Bob (Miramax is owned by Disney, so there), but I went with Dax because he fits the game a bit more. However, I may make their sheets for craps and laughs, if you don't mind.
  • Sky Saber makes lightsaber noises, because why not.

Name: Sorcha

Age: 16

Appearance: She is about 5'4". Her brown hair goes below her shoulders and is rather messy/anime spiky with the back of her hair resting on her shoulders. She wears a short sleeved hooded red jacket with a short zip up light pink dress underneath. She also wears brown boots. Her accessories are a gold heart pendant and a red hair clip.

Keyblade Type: Defense

Keyblade Appearance:

Memoria - The blade is dark pink. The tip is a purple heart with light pink roses on it. The handle is is red heart and the grip is dark pink. It has a pattern of swirls and glitter throughout it.

Favored Princess: Aurora

Favored Element: Earth and Light

Home World: Unknown for now

Personality: Idealistic to a fault, Sorcha is a cheerful and upbeat. She believes in bonds and the belief her group will win. She does not know of the worlds ahead but, is excited to see. She is rather sheltered and tends to stubbornly stick to her worldview. However, deep down inside she still misses her parents and her childhood friend, Cian, and wishes nothing more than to reunite with them.

Backstory:

• Sorcha grew up in a cabin far away in a snowy and almost uninhabitable area with her mother and father.

• For years, they were cut off from the rest of the world and had to survive on the land.

• When Sorcha was eight, she found a woman and her son who were almost freezing to death. She went out to the blizzard and helped them get to her home.

• Her parents allowed the woman and her son to stay. Quickly, Sorcha became friends with the son, Cian.

• However within the next three years, Sorcha's parents and Cian's mom disappeared without trace.

• Sorcha and Cian relied on each other in this time of grief and lived together for the next three years.

• When they were fifteen, an attack of dark creatures invaded the cabin as portals of darkness started to show up.

• The two were overwhelmed. A portal showed up. Cian apologized to Sorcha before pushing her in, telling her he will find her again.

• Sorcha woke up in Scala ad Caelum afterwards.

• She spent a year there, waiting for Cian. When he didn't show up, she decided she would find him herself.

• This gave her Memoria and recently she was scouted, jumping on the chance.

• Name: Lux de Solis
• Age: 18
• Appearance: A young man of noble origin, with lightly tanned skin and messy rose silver hair. He caries himself with confidence, standing slightly taller than average. His build can best be described as thin, but powerful. He usually tends to wear a dark blue shirt with a scarf and a long white coat.
• Keyblade Type: Strength aligned
• Keyblade Appearance: Solar Inheritance, the Keyblade passed down through his family for generations. The handle is solid gold, and the arm guards are designed to resemble the corona of the sun. Golden wings spread out from the hilt, out from which the blade extends - A long, golden rod, with flame-shaped teeth at the end. The keychain is his family's crest - A golden sun surrounded by six golden wings.
• Favored Princess: Jasmine
• Favored Element: Fire/Light
• Home World: Scala ad Caelum
• Personality: Energetic and hotheaded, always out on the search for adventure. Doesn't care too much for family inheritance or the stuffiness of noble life, instead wanting to make a name for himself out in the real world. Knows the nooks and crannies of Scala ad Caelum like the back of his hand, as he's often found exploring with his best friend, Aya. A bit of an airhead, as his exploits constantly get him into trouble, which Aya usually has to get him out of.
• Backstory:
  • Lux was born and raised on the Stairway to the Sky by his rich noble family, the Keyblade being passed down to him early on. Though he was trained in its use regularly, he would often skip lessons to explore the city, or otherwise find himself preoccupied and not pay attention. As such, even at age 18, he has yet to qualify for the Mark of Mastery.
  • When he was fifteen years old, he had a chance meeting with a girl named Aya, who ended up saving his life during one of his escapades. Aya was revealed to be a transient from another world, and so as thanks, Lux convinced his family to offer her shelter and a job as his bodyguard. The two of them spent their years together, quickly forming a powerful bond of friendship.
  • When Master Verex Magistra began to move his forces throughout the worlds, the Council of Masters chose him and Aya as part of their task force, due to his family's influence, despite the fact that he has not yet achieved the Mark of Mastery. Now, he prepares for a whole new adventure with his best friend, and whoever else will be joining them. Though he's not so adept with the Keyblade, he's more than excited to finally make his mark on the world outside.

• Age: 18

• Appearance: Aya is tall and well built, standing at 6' with a lithe, but toned body. She has fair, if sun-tanned a bit, skin and brown hair that she keeps tied up in a high ponytail. She wears a thin sleeveless dark blue shirt with a high neckline, leaving nothing of her torso exposed, and baggy steel blue trousers with sandals. Her eyes are a piercing sea green.

• Keyblade Type: Defense

• Keyblade Appearance: Aya's Keyblade is "Deep Sentinel". It has a long, wide and thick blade that's steel blue in colour, with teeth that bend like waves. Engraved on the flat of the blade are spiraling patterns with cresting waves at their ends. The hilt is thick and sturdy, and a keychain ending in a tiny whirlpool symbol with a katana symbol over it is attached to the bottom

• Favored Princess: Cinderella

• Favored Element: Water and Grey

• Home World: Spira (Final Fantasy X)

• Personality: Aya is quiet and soft-spoken, but not cold by any means. Dutiful and protective, her loyalty and devotion to others, with her best friend Lux being the most prominent person she shows it towards, is without question. She can be rather serious and dry, especially with regards to Lux and his shenanigans, but will end up going along for the ride anyways. After all, someone has to be the level-headed one to pull him out of any trouble they get in. She can be rather gloomy as a result of the endless cycle of destruction in Spira, but the moments of true happiness shine through all the brighter.

• Backstory: Aya was born in Spira, in Kilika. From a young age, Aya began training to become a guardian for a summoner, people able to summon the fayth and sacrifice their lives to end the menace of Sin...for a while. The cycle of death and recovery carries on without end in Spira, which drove Aya to practice even harder and take up a solemn oath to be the best she could. At the age of 15 however, Sin attacked Kilika, and Aya was by some twist of fate absorbed into the giant creature and sent to another world.
  • Scala ad Caelum. As she wandered around this strange new place, she came upon a teenager in peril. Without hesitation, the trainee guardian sprang into action to save the life of this stranger, being chosen by a Keyblade in this moment. This boy would go on to be Lux, her best friend and "employer", his affluent family taking her on as his bodyguard. The two of them spent their years together, quickly forming a powerful bond of friendship.

  • When Master Verex Magistra began to move his forces throughout the worlds, the Council of Masters chose her and Lux as part of their task force, due to Lux's family's influence. Aya is ready for another adventure with her best friend, however much she may roll her eyes at him being chosen, and whoever else will be joining them. Nick The Swing- Is your character in Scala ad Caelum? You didn't really mention his place or why he might have been chosen for the mission by the Council.

Def Revenge 24601- Overall a good sheet, through the 'stronger then Anakin even when he was younger' bit is a little worrying. I don't really do power level stuff for my RP's but just make sure not to have him be so hyper competent that it drags the story to a halt.

• Age: 18
• Appearance: Lucas is a tall, somewhat slender young man. He's cute, with big blue eyes and this pouting thing he does when he's flustered. He's got golden blonde hair, and somewhat prominent eyebrows. He usually wears glasses. He has contacts, and puts them in if he's expecting a fight, but finds them uncomfortable. He's a bit on the thin side, but in good shape. pic

• Personality: Lucas is a curious young man, eager to learn and eager to use his knowledge to help people. He grew up admiring heroes like Captain America and Tony Stark, and so of course he's going to use his Keyblade for heroics. He's also big into anime and other weeb trash so he's all about being an anime for real. In terms of attitude he's very outgoing and friendly. He likes learning about other worlds, and enjoys meeting people from them. He's very confident about his newfound magical powers, and will sometimes be reckless in testing them out. If he encounters a large heartless, a part of him is always going to want to challenge it. In terms of hobbies he likes video games and brought some with him. He also enjoys drawing as a hobby, and is in fact very talented at figure drawing. He did martial arts for a few years in middle school, so is quite happy to fight for the fun of it. His latest hobby, is, of course, the study of magic.
• Background: Lucas grew up in New York, and in fact briefly lived next to Spider Man. He does not know this, but he definitely would have been happy about it. He always admired the various superheroes that inhabited his world, and a part of him always hoped to be one. Obviously, the odds of that happening were super low, so he just did martial arts at the community center and practiced drawing so he could be a comic book artist.
• Well, fate had other plans for Luke. He was coming home from school one day in late spring when he saw a couple of guys in ski masks beating up some old lady. Of course, being a stupid teenager and having a couple years of martial arts experience under his belt, he ran to help!
• And promptly got shanked. He was on the ground, wondering if that was how he'd die, when he got his keyblade. It healed him, and the muggers ran off because obviously this kid had just become a superhero and they knew better than to mess with that.
• Of course, the lady told the news and the reporters were mobbing his house. Lucas was questioning whether he could become a superhero, because now everyone knew him as the dude with the keyblade. This was when he got scouted and taken to Scala ad Caelum. He's been studying there since, and recently got recruited to fight the Empire.
