Last Life Arcade (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-And so it begins!-

-The first thing of note that's going on is that Misaki... already seems to know exactly what she's doing?! After just a few times toying with the attacks, she's already in there playing like a champ!-

-It doesn't take long for her to figure out Leos and Sthesia's attacks either, as she's managing to keep up!-

-Aichi, meanwhile, seems to be playing extremely intently. Almost in a trance...-

-He must be very in tune with that 'image' of his, seeing as you could almost swear that he is one with the character in the game itself rather than actually controlling them...-

-It seems like he's quick about switching modes when needed, eerily seeming to have a good awareness of which he should use, when, and how.-

-Leos, Sthesia, you've got yourself some heavy competition...!-

Well, for me it's been almost four months! So I've been here a while.

MOBILE WARRIOR FIGHT

(Okay, yeah, Aichi and Misaki are putting up a really good fight, especially with Misaki figuring out when to dodge Leos's ranged heavy attacks. Heck, he even tried to charge at her with a melee rush, but she managed to counter that almost instantaneously, allowing Aichi to follow up with a melee combo on his own.)

(As the match went on, Aichi and Misaki had a significant lead on them by having downed a unit, while Leos and Sthesia had no such luck, but they were still doing their damnedest.)

Last Life Arcade (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Aichi and Misaki can't get cocky, of course. Despite their apparent synchronization, they have their moments of slipping up.-

-They're both being pushed back, Aichi even having lost a unit in the process (Did he actually flinch when that happened? Considering how into it he seems, he may have sort of felt something when it happened... Although nothing too bad).-

-Misaki keeps up the pace though, fighting her hardest with calculative moves and strategies.-

-Things are evening a bit, but there's no guarantee it'll stay that way!-

-She, again, doesn't expect the water blast and gets knocked back a little bit, only to quickly scramble to her feet-

Alright, asshole, you're on!

-As she approaches it again, it only just now hits her that she could just... play dirty, there's zero repercussions for that-

-The moment she gets closer to it, a tendril suddenly shoots out of her back and wacks the monster right in the head as Mania throw a punch-

-It's thrown off again! It reels backwards and stumbles back at the punch!-

-Water drips from its mouth... and not the kind it actually spits, so it must have felt it!-

-There's a vroom in the distance... but do you have the time to worry about that while your body still has something happening to it...?!-

RVEVVERS

-She throws another punch/tendril combo, just barely taking her eyes off the monster for a second to check what the hell that sound is-

Mirror World

-It's... a... bike?◊-

-The monster is punched down on its back, where its promptly sent flying a good distance when the bike collides with it!-

-The bike opens up to reveal... a knight??-

Are you... a human? In the Mirror World?

MIRROR

Uh... yeah? Isn't that a bit obvious?

Mirror World

...You don't look like a Rider. We need to get you out of here before that gets worse.

-He points at Mania's...... disintegrating-

-The monster hacks up a plume of water to block their exit, indicating it's still not done with them-

-The knight pulls a card out of his belt and sticks it in his blade-

Peter walks out of the forest in civilian clothing, rubbing his eyes with one hand and rubbing back his hair with another.

University

-A physics lecture finally ends, the students filing out as their professor, a black-haired woman, sighs with apparent relief-

"Now a few essays to grade, check to see if any of them actually did the online work...sometimes I wish the last lecture of the day was actually the end of the day..."

MIRRORS

Uh... I usually let V eat monsters if I think he can handle 'em but... I don't think that'll work here.

He does not look tasty.

Mirror World

-A second monster suddenly appears beside the Knight...!-

Well, good thing it's not your food. It's his.

-Points his blade at his monster, who tosses its boomerang at the other to generate a cyclone-

Haaah... HAH!

-The knight zips through the cyclone once, twice, thrice slashing at the monster, and punctuates his finisher with a flying side kick to make it explode!-

-His monster goes to absorb a strange glowing light that the other monster left behind while he walks up to the car and sticks his hand against it-

-The reflection in the car warbles like disturbed water...-

Hurry through, most humans can't stay in here for too long.

University

(Look out, Ms. Professor! Some bespectacled TA is walking by with an armful of papers and isn't paying good enough attention not to cross your path, oh god he can't hear us, he has Air Pods in, oh fuck)

(His brow furrows... thinkin hard about this, the old sod...)

...So, do most have to seek income in the—... the, uh, dimension's city, while they find themselves here?

-She tries to get out of his way...and utterly fails, bumping into the guy and spilling her own stuff everywhere-

Yeah, seems like it... though they're also far from picky with the actual type of currency! I think that'll help, at least!

-She'd say more but she would really rather not disintegrate so she takes a few steps back and gets a running start before jumping back into the window like Mario 64-

-The knight jumps through after her-

-She does the same, gathering up her own stuff-

-...A bunch of candy fell out of her bag along with her papers-

"Oh no, I'm sorry! That was completely my fault, I wasn't looking..."

-Gordon her eyes are...weird...no iris, just a pupil with an orange ring inside it?-
