Holy shit, that D Vorah Fatality. It's a Chestburster on steroids.

Mileena confirmed not playable. Kitana has her weapon and teleport kick.

If we can have similar character around like in the case of Jacqui or Cassie, we could also expect Mileena show up as DLC.

If not, i'm sensing an increase in D'Vorah casualties

Neither Cassie or Jacqui actively use their fathers' weaponry and moves. Unlike Mileena towards Kitana.

And Mileena has too many competitors for a DLC spot even assuming we get as many as IJ 2. As in Rain, Guest characters, Smoke, a cyborg who's not Frost, Ermac, Takeda, Sindel, one of the better received 3D era characters like Havik...

So, no Kombat Kast next week. Can we at least expect a trailer or two?

Undoubtably the Frost reveal & the release trailer.

I wonder why Milena was left out. I know she died in story mode, but they still couldn’t put her on the roster considering she’s one of the more Iconic characters? Could they not think up ideas for her fight style?

Mileena died just last game. Can't death mean something for one game? I don't see Quan Chi or Shinnok returning either.

Sure Baraka is back, but that boy wasn't even playable in MKX, throw his fans a bone.

Quan Chi and Shinnok, I wouldn’t consider them series mainstays and Milena is one of the more iconic characters. Even if she played no role in the story, they could still have her available for versus play.

Reptile too is a notable missing character.

But unlike Mileena he is not really deconfirmed by other characters moveset unless you count Erron's fatality.

Plus his fanbase isn't as obnoxious

Reptile being missing is overshadowed by Mileena and Rain fans getting upset. Like, check reddit, you can't go two post without anyone mentioning these two.

And let's face it, the only safe picks are Scorpion, Sub-zero and Raiden. Everyone else is fair game.

Granted, most of the MK 1 ogs have mostly stuck around.

We've come a long way since the female faces in MK 9 and Injustice 1.

Yeah, she looks amazing.

Until you start punching and murdering her that is.

Then...she looks a bit less pretty.

At that points she looks pretty dead

Bug'Vorrah's more like Dark Phoenix from Marvel 3. Just... a whole lot less impressive visually. Probably more balanced, too.

Bug'vorrah and that fatality reminds me of a super move Q.Bee used. Those two would probably get along famously for awhile before they tried to eat eachother.

I admit to never really caring much for Kitana until now. The most she ever meant to me was "My Sister's main". Now that she's actually showing off her regal-ness she's gotten a lot more interesting to me.

One hand, I get what you mean about death meaning something. On the other, that ship sailed a long time ago. I mean, Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Jax, Scorpion and Sub-Zero were playable in MKX after being killed in the previous game.

Mortal Kombat is in a strange place narrative wise were it is supposed to be about brutal life-and-death situations but far too many characters are too popular to be killed off permanently. Kano still being alive and free doesn't really doesn't make the Special Forces characters look good.

MK runs on MK logic. There are also a couple characters that posses Resurrective Immortality or are just plain immortal

Man dvorah's widow kiss and her fatality certified her as a try-2-main for me personally.

Also her hoodie look is fantastic. Nakey look is ehhh though.
