Real talk, alot of us used to hate 4kids, but when you really look back on it.....I kinda miss them. What was the lawsuit in question anyway? And isn't the Chaotic Creator still trying to get the rights back (I think the entire series is on youtube right now.)?

good news, we got a look at sonic prime.
Bad news, it told us basically nothing.
"Believe It Or Not, There Are Still Cartoons Coming To Netflix" Says Anime Superhero Forums. Ouch that such a title is needed...

Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness. As a refresher, it was revealed a few weeks ago with Jack Black reprising as Po for a July 2022 release.
Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.
The Dragon Knight is executive produced by Peter Hastings and Shaunt Nigoghossian, co-executive produced by Chris Amick and Ben Mekler.
I am amused that despite the popularity of the 5, the franchise refuses to do anything with them.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, there are two prequel shorts, The Secrets of the Furious Five (the source of the "Mmmm, monkey" meme) serving as their origin story as individual characters and The Secrets of the Scroll showing how they became a team, but apart from that, yeah, there's not much.
I wonder what species the Wandering Blade will be. My first guess would be a horse (due to the association between horses and knights).

Actually, she's a bear! They just revealed today in four new screencaps:
That looks aight.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Apologies in advance for speaking too soon regarding Wings of Fire. Once again, Netflix has cancelled more shows in-development in a blindsiding manner for the crews involved.
The streaming service also scrapped “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, And You,” a documentary intended to serve as a companion piece to “Stamped From the Beginning.” “Stamped from the Beginning,” which is a hybrid documentary and scripted feature that delves into race in the United States, is still moving forward and is currently in post-production.
Sources at Netflix stress the decisions not to move forward with these projects were creative rather than cost related, meaning they would have taken place regardless of the company’s slower revenue growth. Insiders also note that animation has a longer gestation period than live-action. Given the comparatively drawn-out timeline, it’s less unusual for movies or television shows to go back into development or part ways entirely over creative decisions.
“With Kind Regards From Kindergarten,” based on an intense book about two young friends who drift as one of them loses his imagination, had not been publicly announced before the animated film was scrapped.
“Antiracist Baby,” was imagined as a series of animated vignettes set to music for preschoolers based on antiracist scholar Dr. Ibram X. Kendi children’s book of the same name. Kendi also wrote “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You,” which was intended to cater to younger viewers who wanted to see “Stamped From the Beginning.” Those projects, along with “Stamped From the Beginning,” were intended to examine racism for audiences of all ages.
They can still shop it around somewhere, can't they? I mean, Warner Bros is making it, Netflix was just the distributor, wasn't it?
It's possible, since WB has its own streaming service too.
However, some crew members like Jacqueline Marlon◊ (Series Asset Supervisor) have announced they're suddenly open◊ for work. Likewise with Jean-Denis Haas (Animation Supervisor), who discretely implied the news hours before Variety's official word.
It appears the staff is already being laid off.

UUUUUUUUUUGH, this is so not fucking fair. Why even buy the rights if you're not going to use it?!
Gotta hoard those rights so their competitors can't have them
New theme music also a boxAnd the books are so good, too, the series deserves a good adaptation :(
Now I'm scared that they're going to can Redwall too.

Are they still hemorrhaging subscribers?
Probably, although with how slow companies move, they are just reeling from the last big drop.
Netflix is falling apart pretty quick, isn't it?
Wake me up at your own risk.I'm half-surprised the board hasn't fired whoever's been making all of these decisions and backpedaling on a ton of stuff.
They're still worth BILLIONS,untill they seriously start losing money nothing is going to change, they don't care enough

New theme music also a boxWhat, the huge amount of public backlash and them hemorrhaging subscribers isn't enough?
Not enough in their case, they're probably seeing this as weathering the storm
New theme music also a boxIt makes you wonder what animated shows are still airing at Netflix and if there’s anything they’re still going ahead with.
EDIT: Looked into it further and there is a couple still going. Dark times though for everyone.

No, the lawsuit wasnt about Chaotic. Chaotic cost them so much money that they easy prey for the lawsuit to kill them, which was by ADK due to Yugioh. Some think 4kids may have survived had they not been in such a delicate position economically.
