I’ve been reading Healing myself and can also recommend it.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Sydsnap just released a video where she talks about the Otome Isekai genre and why it likely became so popular
Well, damn, Saihate no Paladin just made me cry for real. It was close enough holding it together when I was reading it over my lunch hour, but the flashback to Mary and Blood finding Will wrecked me.
It's been fun.Join the club. Those damn feels.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I find her style kind of annoying. I didn't think much of her analysis either.
Is Saihate still ongoing as a LN?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Status says ongoing, and there's 120+ webnovel chapters, so probably still going for a while.
After seeing everyone mention it here, decided to go off and read the manga, and it's excellent. The isekai element is used well and is non-intrusive, and I love all the characters. Made me tear up a bit several times, too. Will definitely be following this, though I will wait a bit to decide if I want to take the plunge and read the LN/WN.
Another thing I really like about this story is the role religion plays in it. Every other isekai I've seen either completely ignores it, is antagonistic toward it (gods and/or their followers are shitty), or treats it comedically (gods are inconsequential/humorous, a la Konosuba). But here there's a whole cosmology, pantheon, creation story, people whose choice of patron gods actually reflects on their character and beliefs. Mary and her relationship with her patron goddess Mater was beautiful, and actually plays a significant role in the story.

Reading an isekai about two girls who both get summoned to another world to be the local saint and repel demonic energy. The prince instantly gets enamored with the one while everyone ignores the latter, the protagonist. You can tell she's the real saint because her name is 'Sei' which is rather on the nose.
Anyway, apparently she was unattractive? She looked quite pretty, though. Yeah, she had glasses on, a more practical hairstyle than the first girl and some gender neutral clothing, but she obviously had rather high specs. I rather dislike when manga tries to pull that one. Actually, I think I liked that look better than when she drops the glasses cause she cures her eyesight problems and I'm not even into glasses girls.
Oh, she just got a hair pin. Now she once again looks less cute after she tied her hair up. I guess my sense of style really does not match the author/illustrator's.

Ah, Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu. That's a pretty good one I like how everyone considers the Prince to be pretty stupid to decide like that, but just roll with it, because what can you do? Also the mission goes rather badly since they took the wrong girl with them. Will be interesting to see his reaction when the truth comes out. especially since everyone in the palace basically figured it out already after Sei healed a whole Knight order from wounds deemed unhealable.
Speaking of Saint, there's Isekai Omotenashi Gohan that features a girl summoned as Saint, but is told from perspective of her older sister who got summoned with her. Since she's a normal person, she stays behind in the Royal Palace when her sister goes on missions, and passes her time cooking and entertaining guests. It's a pretty cute story.
Isekai Omotenashi Gohan is indeed sweet story. While younger sister saving world, older have to wait for her patiently no matter how worried she is. It's pretty fun how royalty and various VIP comes chill in sisters (summoned) house, eat her cooking, drink sake and chat. I too recommend it.

^^ It'll be awhile before I check out the light novel version after having finished up the manga. I have this weird feeling like I'm reading a villainess isekai because I thiiiink Aira is going around flirting with all the cute boys that already have fiancees, which is a classic hallmark of the 'someone reincarnated into the heroine position as well' thing for that genre. But it was only mentioned once in passing that someone was doing that so it probably doesn't matter or at least won't for quite some time.
Incidentally, this one actually does feel like a shoujo work unlike, say, Destruction Flag Otome or any number of isekai with a female protagonist. The attention is definitely on the hot dudes rather than the pretty girls. The protagonist herself is that kind of non flashy/threatening type of cute that I think real shoujo manga and otome games go for.

I really liked that one. I heard the sequel is terrible, though.
Jashin Average was a fun read that went in all sorts of unexpected directions. Haven't read the sequel yet tho.
Apparently it has a standard bland isekai hero and the evil god who started off Evil God Average screws with him every now and then? Apparently he was popular, but I don't see the appeal. Anri was a thousand times more entertaining.
What Isekai are you referring to?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Evil God Average's sequel. I don't remember what it's called.
Summoning at Random. At from the description it does sound way more generic.
Hmm. I don't think Saihate no Paladin is my kind of story. Wasn't able to get into it. Slow paced, introspective and a bit too serious in tone for me.
The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic is also failing to really catch my interest. I think at this point the only thing that would change my mind is if Rose suddenly turned out to be the love interest. This does not seem very likely, so I'll probably stop pretty soon.
Aw, that's too bad. I think it's absolutely my jam. I may even see about finding the LNs nearby if I can; I'm absolutely willing to pay money just for what's out of the manga already.
It's been fun.Apparently Mushoku Tensei gonna get an animated adaptation. I read the manga and give up by chapter 12. what your opinion on that series?
E.T technically is a Isekai movieMushoku Tensei is on of best (and most popular) isekai/tensei novel to date. But first several arcs were mediocre at best.
Edit: And school arc also suck. I don't know why but in isekai/tensei stories school arcs always suck.

I bounced off that one. Don’t recall why. The borderline rapey cheating dad didn’t help.

"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Me too, don't know why it turn me off after 12 chapter. I think it was because of the creepy family of the red hair girl.
E.T technically is a Isekai movie
Yeah, I'll need to track down The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic too, since Iaculus's first recommendation turned out to be such a cracker.
It's been fun.
