>"Good stuff doesn't generate controversy." >''Sees most anime or mangas that I followed with the likes of Slime, Arifureta, Chainsaw Man or Jujutsu didn't get some controversy stunt"
That's fair enough... I agree with that statement.
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."I actually laugh at my naïveté for thinking that Chainsawman couldn't get an anime because it has puke-flavored kisses in it.
BTW, I have been reading The Villainess Will Crush Her Destruction End Through Modern Firepower. It's your typical "girl gets reincarnated as the rival character in an Otome game and tries to avoid a bad end" but it has a fun twist - the girl was a gun otaku in her previous life, so instead of doing stuff like acting nice and making friends she decides that she will learn magic, create guns and just shoot her way out of any trouble she might face.
It's a fun series since Astrid is like way too into guns and is just super enthusiastic about shooting stuff, and also a huge magic nerd. It also actually avoids most of the cliches of the genre and seems to be going into a different direction.
I think in theory she is planning to be nice but has a poor attention span and just keeps focusing on the guns.

I mean, at this point, i wouldn't be surprised if we get a How To Build A Dungeon Book Of The Demon King anime adaptation. If that happens, i am officialy going to create an 100000 word essay on the hentai industry and it's benefits and influences on the Japan culture. Print this.
I now have an idea for a story involving an Evil vs Evil match where a demon or similarly evil creature confronts a human Evil Overlord like that guy out of annoyance & disgust, calling him out on his hypocrisy & immaturity.
He even denies him the pleasure of telling him his backstory because nothing will justify all the atrocities committed & anything he says no matter how bad will just be the equivalent of a toddler crying to his mommy after having his cookie taken away.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I mean, she jumps straight to "shoot my way out of a bad end" idea. That girl knows what she's about.
New volume of Saihate no Paladin just came out, and I really need to catch up. That one's so good.
It's been fun.NVM

Disgusted, but not surprised>First draft of letter to girl you like is a very heavy declaration of love and protection.
Okay...calm down you're 10
>Final draft looks like a challenge letter declaring her your rival
...HOW??!!!?????
Also the interactions have been thankfully getting better. As expected, characters ribbing each other is truly the best.
Also, if I was to write an Isekai story, where would I even post it?
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysI know Scribblehub is one site for stuff like that. There are presumably others.
Sigh, finally found a manhwa with good reviews that's actually completed (Empress of Another World) and it's just a boring generic shoujo, minus the part where the protagonist is a university student and the ML is in his late 20s. It feels very plain compared to stuff like Adelaide, Raeliana or The Abandoned Empress. Plus, the protagonist is such a twit and the ML is incompetent. "Ha! You will never be able to assassinate the witness we have to testify against you!" And a chapter later the witness is burnt to death. Come on man are you even trying? Plus, you're the emperor, why do you even need to jump through all these hoops to begin with?
I'm about to the point of rooting for the villain of the story to kill them all.

I'm 68 chapters into this freaking novel. The third arc is comparatively more boring than the first two, the author is using it primarily for world building and to help the mc be more competent cause I guess she understands that having Klaus swoop in for the last minute save is too much 3 times in a row, but the current target Harold is less interesting compared to Auguste and Claus. Hes neither a little shit or a complete moron plus the arc is way more lowkey so far so its a bit of a slog. Ah, at times like this i miss dangerous siscon Onii-chan.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysI been thinking: If Isekai MC mostly are the everyman for better self-insert, shouldn't it better to give the MC an axe or spear since those weapons require less training and easier to use and maintenance than a sword. Also axe( especially hand Axe) just seem cooler as a weapon to me.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieBy the way, here are the tags for Kaifuku according to Narou:

Jesus Christ, it sounds like a god damn trainwreck. a Gloriously messed up Drakengard tier Trainwreck that I might watch when it gets an anime just to see how far the animators will keep a lot of the original shit in.

Watch SymphogearAaaand I stand corrected if this series works better as a Hentai much like Kuroinu or Euphoria.
Oh well, I guess I might go as well watch it I guess?
I have a feeling that someone wanted to animate with the intention on gaining attention via controversy and milking it just like Shield Hero or Goblin Slayer

"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."
While those two series do have controversies, at least they can stand on their own two feet from them. However, in this case, this series is just a genuine controversy because it really does have toxic elements.
Oh god, why are there so many rape-related tags
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Whoever greenlit Kaifuku has balls the size of an elephant, I'll give them that. Like, out of all the edge-fest revenge isekai out there, that one's definitely one of the worst among them.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Shouldn't that tag be a death sentence by now?
The Random Yaoi tag intrigues me, though.
Watch SymphogearI only know from the manga, but one of the rape scenes earlier on involves the MC turning a male captain into a woman while retaining his male genitalia, and then pumping said captain's subordinates full of aphrodisiacs, leading to the infamous "WOMEN!!! RAPE!!!!" line from a few pages earlier here and then burning the entire building down while the subordinates are busy raping their captain. Maybe that's what the yaoi tag is referring to?
Ugh, I feel filthy even having known of that scene in the first place.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. It does seem like the isekai genre and romance novels have a common problem of abusive and rapey male protagonists.
So, J-Novel got a bunch of licenses recently.
From the previews, Her Majesty's Swarm looks like "Overlord: Kerrigan Edition". It's hard to tell what direction Isekai Rebuilding Project is headed, but the description is:
(Tags: Isekai, Ordinary Protagonist, Satire, Lighthearted, Diplomacy)
And then there's Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Isekai...
That sounds amazingly terrible.
Watch Symphogear
Well as long as its not too profitable & is lambasted by everyone except for the tiny minority that likes it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
