You ever play or read any of the rules for Blades In The Dark? I'm getting a strong vibe like that, less aesthetically than tonally.

Hey folks, friendly neighbourhood GM-Man here.
Worry not, I am not abandoning you, I'm just trying to make sure everyone gets settled, introduces themselves, etc. before slapping the P Cs with the plot stick.
On a somewhat meta note, I just wanted to get a general consensus on an idea I had going forward; which is to say, would you guys rather be one big group of vigilantes or perhaps two or more smaller groups? I'm good with whatever, but I don't want y'all to feel forced into clumping together into one group if you're not comfortable with that (though I will insist that I'd prefer a lack of lone wolves, sorry, gotta be a dick sometimes).
With that out of the way, I'll say that my intent is to get everything into gear sometime after the 31st cause I know this time can be somewhat hectic for people.

Okay, so just a real quick update, said I'd have a post up by now, but I'm admittedly waiting on y'all to choose a place to start before I can do so, and I'm fine with chilling out until then, but I'm also in a spot wherein I cannot actively post often due to an ongoing job hunt, so forgive me there.
If you guys want to vote on a preferred antagonist here that's fine or if you want to do it IC, that's great too, I'd just prefer if it could happen soonish folks.

Woo, finally made this thing.
Few quick rules, try to keep it OOC here (unless you wanna post shit pertaining to your character, that's cool), keep drama to a minimum, and be excellent to each other.
Going to close signups soonish, so just a head's up there. In the odd scenario that we somehow break 10+ players, I'm gonna split the group into two parties, just a heads up.
Actual game thread should be up by monday-ish.
