I thought I'd be ready for it, the writing was on the wall for a while now, but it still shocked me with sadness.

Well, that kinda sucks. I mean, it was expected, since the game isn't bringing in as much revenue anymore, but it feels kind of wrong to announce this just before the 3.5 anniversary.

It's also obvious this was a sudden decision, as there are a few things that they hinted at but will never happen: the remaining Wyrmclan leaders will remain as just cameos in the Tsukuyomi battle (perhaps the reason there were cameos at all because they knew or suspected it would end soon?), only Mids got his human form battle and primal form released, and Nedrick, as well as a few of the Agito, remained unplayable despite the hints of them becoming summonable eventually.

Still, there are things I hope they conclude before the service ends, namely the Syndicate and the scrolls of perdition storylines, with the latter maybe bringing some conclusion to the apostles and Origa.

I think we'll be getting the last Primal Dragons, though maybe not Legend difficulty. Primal Brunhilda is coming within a week. The game's not ending the exact moment the last story update drops.

I also hope people start archiving this game for the eventual shutdown. You can find videos with music and some adventurer stories, but campaign and event stories will become lost (heh) except for script rips on the wiki, and that'd be a shame.

The Discord server has already begun an archival project.

There's no denying that there were signs for a while, but the news of the end is sad all the same. There were cool moments and characters, and I really dug the action RPG aspect, especially after the changes to rolling. Here's hoping the final boss lets the story go out with a bang :)

As someone who almost single-handedly contributed to MagnificentBastard.Dragalia Lost (writing everything except the revised description), this is heartbreaking. I loved this game, and I hope its story and characters see the light of day somewhere else. I wanted Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi to have a happier ending.

Honestly as someone elsewhere mentioned to me, Kaleidoscope was basically what they always wanted in Dragalia and it only came near the games end, which saddened them.

Honestly I loved the game and won’t be surprised when it reuses characters and dragons in the future for another game. They did it before with Knights and Glory concepts being reused to make Dragalia, so it can always happen again.

Heck Euden and Notte are already in Rage of Bahamut so no surprise if some others join them there.

What would they even put in one? No new adventurers or dragons, no new events...

Kind of makes me feel sad, since I kept this installed long after I stopped playing. At the same time... I guess it could kind of have been expected? At least from what I remember, the controls could be a bit painful (any mobile based action game runs into that, obviously, but); it had cygames' usual grind attitude + daily limitations on what you could farm, raid stuff beelined to being super meta and people would just refuse if you didn't take part, and the gacha itself was kind of bad on the guarantees side.

Hope someone saves the story in readable format, though. I did like the characters.

It's been a long time since I've played, but I'm sad to hear it's closing down. I rather liked the art and characters.

So according to my calculations, you need 31200 (Ned/PBH) + 28800 (Final) wyrmite in assets, for a total of 60000, to spark once on both this Gala Dragalia and the Final Gala Dragalia coming up after. I suggest you scrounge up whatever assets you can for that.

Btw, I'm stuck on the second fight with the Agito twins in story mode. Any guides to not have my leader die before the second phase of the battle?

Are they dying to a specific attack, or are they just struggling to stay alive in general?

In general, but Xander (my leader) dies when they do that spinning attack of one frost beam and one fire beam a second time.

I mean, it's probably because I didn't have Catherine on my team, but...
