Addis is basically just Musashi but for Imperial onslaught.

Addis is great, but he has less AOE than Musashi, and more wind heroes need to have bleed for him to realize his full potential.

The circus and adventurer adventurers don't catch my eye so I'm saving up to see what Valentine's Day will have to offer :x

Well I wanted the Kitty Dragon so Id finally get a Light Five Star Dragon.

And with this one pull today I got three Fove Stars in the Circus Girl I didn't care for. A Wyrmprint, and Kitty Dragon(Liger).

Thank God. Now I just need one for Water.

Ignoring my better judgement, I pulled again as soon as I hit the wyrmite for it. I got the 5* light priestess. I should be happy, but I really wanted more circus folk.

Finally beat the Master challenge battle after maxing my facility. Couldn't get it deathless yet, but I think that if I try again too soon I might throw my phone through the wall.

Good going! That challenge is a real bear to complete. Managed to just clear it myself, with just one second to spare. Now on to one million renown!

I beat it eventually with 20 seconds to spare.

The stars needed to align: no AI party member could go down because I needed their damage; otherwise I'd run out of time with 15% of the boss health remaining.

No Cupid, only Lindworm, max facility, Hildegarde ally.

Apparently, the new event will be against a Water Raid Boss, so better get those Wind teams ready.

Oh good. I was just dumping my extra exp crystal's into green katana.

Really want to face High Midgardsomr to get a SSR Wind Dragon in that case. Wonder if I should save for the expensive Midgardsomr Wyrmprint or the new cheaper one?

Now that the event is over, going through Adventurer Stories in bulk - my list of unwatched stories is getting ridiculous. Random thoughts.

• I still don't have Xander, though I still see him a lot thanks to all the Castle Stories and Events he's involved in. I do, however, has Christmas Xander, who is a goddamn treasure. It takes a lot to have one of the funniest stories in a game whose comedy writing is very underrated in general, but...
• I love the gag of Euden being something of a parody of the archetypical Nice Guy / Friend to All Living Things protagonist. I love even more when the game gets witty and lampshady about it: it turning out that he was manipulating Vice under the guise of being an Extreme Doormat, for example, was great.
• JUSTICE! That is all.
• It's interesting how the game has loads of characters that just kind of... go together, conceptually - often as perfect opposites (and often, but not always, distaff/spear counterparts) - as if they were designed in pairs. Like Nefaria and Xander, which was even a plot point in the Christmas event. Or Sinoa and Kleimann (who I hope get to interact in the future). Or like how there are two characters with the concept of "feral warriors who live as one with the wilderness," but one is actually Oliver Queen a cultured aristocrat and the other one is Tarzan a more traditional savage warrior.

Overall your max unbound high midgar card will cost about the same as 5 of the singles, so it actually may not matter.

Some of them i do have to question Euden’s involvement. Like there should be someone who is more magic inclined (and not at all involved in governing a whole kingdom) who could serve better as Kleimann’s lab assistant. If Vanessa could have a plot without Euden getting involved I’m pretty sure Kleimann can too... though too bad they didn’t include a main character mage unit.

Oh yeah, Ranzal’s adventurer story. When Elisanne (wasit?) said “Whoa, it’s like this guy knows a thing or two about being a noble...” I was wishing I read this before they released chapter 7 and stuff.

Some of the stories are pretty straightforward like say, Taro’s. While others are cryptic as all can get like Ryozen or Nefaria. And others get to be a laugh a minute like Vanessa.

In other news... I fired Ricardt because I couldn’t stand his voice lines heh heh heh. That reminded me that Taro got braver while Ricardt is pretty much the same after their adventurer stories.

That makes me think that some adventurer stories take place before you field the adventurer because they needed that character development before their ingame voicelines make sense. Others take place after they join Euden’s army (e.g. Lucretia)

Also speaking of Lucretia, are there other stories where a cameo by another gacha hero happens? Because Vixel also appears in hers.

That seems to happen when the characters are from the same event. IIRC Louise's story has Lowen in it.

I have Three Light SSR thanks to the Five Star Ticket. Woild like an Ieyasu instead pls.

The ticket dropped me a bow, and I got scared I was about likely to get 3000 eldwater because I already had Nefaria and Hawk... but fortunately Louise showed up! Hooray.

I got 3000 Eldwater in the form of a Maribelle dupe. Oh well, they can't all be winners :x

Old man Peng Lai is honestly the best part of this event

Also I can only conclude from Valfarre flexing and doing a bunch of gym stuff that he actually just wants all the mana to become ultra ripped unfortunately he seems to have skipped leg day

Coming soon to Canada, the UK, and Australia "soon" (see page 15).

I saved up the Tenfold and 3k Wyrmite, and I made out like a bandit this time around. I got the Totally-Not-a-Panda Dragon, Ku Hai, Xiao Lei, and two copies of Warrior Maiden. Also Nefaria from the guaranteed 5 Star summon. I wanted Maribelle, but you can't win em all.

Event's boss is fairly simple this time around. Got the epithet on day 2 with Pia/Roc being AI controlled as my damage dealer and Ranzal just transforming every chance he got. Probably got carried but 14.5k on four-star wind dudes is pretty decent.

I keep thinking Wind is my weakest color even though I have 2 5-star heroes for it. Too bad I never liked the bow weapon type in this game.

The boss is pretty neat though. God they went wild with the flexing and pro wrestling moves... it's like they made the Resplendent Refrain "heartless" boss move so boring and generic as the first step to cranking out this new guy.

I noticed that! Valfarre acts like such a chad in the raid intro.
