Managed to complete the challenge battle in under 100 seconds with a party of Maribelle, Aeleen, Eleonora, and Melody (5-star promoted). It's weird. I almost missed the target the first time I got it, but now I can clear it in under 90 seconds pretty easily. Upgrading the wind shrine probably helped :x

Yeah this is a lot easier than the Halloween one. I got the challengw title by accident for starters and got all the Divine Gales Awards.

Yeah, this one was a lot more manageable, though I didn't hit a million Divine Gales until the last day :x

This one will be against shadow enemies, surprisingly enough. Elias will probably be the event adventurer. Looking forward to recruiting the floof dragon :)

I still need some good light units, so a light banner will not hurt. However, this is the second time I've preemptively started boosting dark just to have to switch gears once the event is announced.

Finally a male humanoid dragon. Was getting worried when it had been solely females so far.

Given that all the dragons are from older Cygames stuff, there's a lot of humanoid male dragons speculated to be on the horizon, with Lucifer as the most significant.

Got Lucretia, Vixel, and Pia with three ten-draws.

The songs featured in Resplendent Refrain will be sold at Cygames' big convention next month. I really liked them so HQ versions are great though it does bother me slightly that the lyrics aren't translated in-game unlike GBF.

This boss is obnoxious. He moves his arms so much targeting them is a nightmare. The tail, thankfully is much easier to deal with. Also Id warn that using Archers, Mages, and Healers as NPC teammates unless their HP is high enough to survive 2-3 hits. Their normal combos keep them from dodging Dark Side in time instead of following the main unit.

I got the Conductor so I have a Light Regener as my main unit.

Healers also benefit from their magic orbs moving up towards the arm when Sabmock moves them beyond melee range. Unlike Archers.

The ten draws and the only 5* I get is Leviathan. Wow. My luck from the last banner hit a full reverse.

There was an error displaying summoning rates, so we got a second free tenfold voucher. It got me my goal for this banner (Cupid) so it's time to start saving for Christmas.

Better yet, save everything you can for when they inevitably make Mym and adventurer.

I've pulled (x10) from this banner four times. No more. I'm just not getting it's better units. Anything I get from here on goes into the next one.

Regarding how this appears to be the second light banner before we ever got a dark one (we even only have one single 5 star dark unit in the game while we have four 5 star light units now), it looks likely it's because Holiday banners do not count towards the elemental cycle. Unlike the current light banner that has light adventurers and dragons, the Halloween banner had a dark dragon as its 5 star.

Thus, likely it'll be the same for the obligatory Christmas event. What do you think that will feature?

Looks like the next event is Water. Man, the developers must really hate the Shadow element.

If this is like GBF Light and Darkness are actually different aspects of the Fifth Fourth Element.

Still poor Shadow. Forgotten and cursed cause it has all the Edgy dragons designwise and/or personalitywise.

I just recently finally pulled and buffed my man Kleimann. Then the next event is water vs fire... come on shadow banner when!

@Elf: I would think they’d be in wind or light but yeah, no lightning-wielding adventurers so far... we got Jupiter on dragons but it seems to be it.

To add insult to injury, now four of the six characters who got holiday versions were originally Shadow but changed to something else for the event.

I'm starting to think the theory that there was supposed to be a DAOKO collab Shadow event that had to be cancelled or delayed was true.
