Oh and btw... I just read the manga and currently I'm at "Liselotte Taranda the Beast Tamer arc right now:

Dammit the anime cut the two favorite arcs including this arc and Masaru's bullies redemption arc and both of them are pretty much intense. Ah well, I guess that the consequences when you skip the volumes and the chapters of the manga and adapt the most important and crucial arcs. [lol] But even then, anime is still as good as it is. However, I need to read until Volume 12 which is crazy hahahaha...

Episode 9:

And the episode skips into Narumi venturing into China and seems that Narumi's karate master also got a Zonapha Syndrome and told the story about two brothers traveling to Prague, Bai Yin and Bai Jin, who are the puppeteer and alchemy students. The two fell in love together with a lady named Francine who escaped from French slavery and tries to take care of the children and man, the story is dark and I feel bad for Francine and as a result, Bai Yin tries to make Francine happy but unfortunately, Bai Jin dislikes the fact that Francine married his older brother as he viewed her as his and his alone and makes a demonic face after Bai Yin and Francine married together. Also, in the meantime, seems that Masaru's circus also got additional member, Guy, and then there's the flashback with Shirogane and Guy so yeah...

Episode 10:

Man, the love story of Yin and Francine sure is tragic and Yin's younger brother, Jin, let Francine to be imprisoned by the villagers after she contacted an illness and then brutally kills said villagers in order to make his Francine puppet laugh and tries to exact the same revenge to those villagers? That's some special level of prick right there and the story doesnt ends there as he simply dispose puppet Francine and tries to spread the Zonapha syndrome across the world... Yeah, the guy's a bad news alright. Also, I feel bad for Yin and the rest of the villagers who tries to seek vengeance against the sickening Automatas and after drinking the Aqua Vitae, the villagers then become someone known as the Shiroganes who tries to destroy the automata Jin created. Also, feels sad on what happened on Narumi's master in the end :/

Reminds me of how Ushio & Tora got anime adaption soo much later that it felt kinda fresh 80s shonen anime was being adapted ._.

I was expecting Jin to be a little bit more of a sympathetic villain, since I had already been spoiled that the opening's lyrics were written from his perspective. Well, by this point there's still might be more to him than that, but I still not too fond of his current story.

@Comun Jin feels like he already crossed the Moral Event Horizon a long time ago so yeah...

@Spooky Mask Well :P it's mostly a 90s anime but I'm cool if we got an adaptation so yeah...

^??? Honestly confused what you meant. I mean, I meant that its kinda fun they are adapting 20+ year old series that were never adapted but are already finished from author without any anime adaptions before. I think this anime was done by same people as Ushio & Tora anime as well, right?

Ah sorry about the confusion. Anyways, I'll agree that its fun to adapt other 80s or 90s anime that hasnt been adapted yet. And yes, Karakuri Circus' studio is from the same studio who made Ushio to Tora so yeah...

Episode 11:

Today's episode, is the battle in the Sahara Region especially on the Midnight Circus and it seems that Narumi and co. were accompanied with other Shiroganes that is revealed to be Shirogane-0s. Also, seems that Eiryo had some vacation in France and got kidnapped by the Shiroganes for questioning. And man, the battle between Shiroganes and the Puppets in the Midnight Circus is a bit intense and I feel rather suspicious of the Shirogane that makes the funny faces. Also, the ending is revealed to be one of the puppets playing a sadistic choice regarding a door so yeah...

Judging by mangarock, it currently has 246 chapters that got scanlated but man I wish the translator continue the scanlation further.

Episode 12:

Some insight of the Shirogane-O founder, Commander Faceless. It was revealed that he did this because of his fiancee that married with an automata and despite being suspicious at him at first, I can't help but feel bad for him and then there's his death scene in order to save Narumi from the evil automata. Also, some backstory regarding the Shirogane, Tor, who lied about his fiancee and man, he's still good looking even after 90 years but then again, in the manga, 5 years of the Shirogane equals one year to them so that makes sense and I feel bad for his backstory regarding his family and friends succumbed into Zonapha Syndrome. Also, we now saw how Francine Doll looks like and in the meantime, Eiryo got a Zonapha which got cured by George lol.

Shit! I'm late but I'll post both Episode 13 and 14 thoughts. Anyways, Episode 13:

Sadly, both Timbavati and Schwarzenstor died in the battle against the 4 sadistic puppet and I feel bad for them and so does Lucille despite she had a secret weapon that was made by Eiryo: Francine's fake doll that resembles Lucille's daughter, Angelina, which resulted on the 4 puppets can't move and anyone who defies Lady Francine will ended up getting destroyed just like Dottore. And man, Lucille's death was so... Heartbreaking at its finest.

Episode 14:

Seems that the two dolls manages to defy against the impostor and I feel really bad for Rockenfield and Fatima as they ended up dying at the end thanks to Arlecchino, Pantalone and Columbine. But even then, all of the puppets are all dead and Narumi becomes a full Shirogane that tries to destroy Francine. But unfortunately, the Francine that Narumi tries to destroy is actually a fake one which resulted on Narumi getting pissed. Shirogane seems glad when she reunited with Narumi but unfortunately Narumi attacks her due to her being the reincarnation of Francine but even then, seems that Narumi gains his memory back and flees even if Shirogane is ready to die oof. And it was revealed that Narumi get that information from a man known as Fou, one of the former Shiroganes that retired

Finally the first amazing episode since the end of the prologue. I loved the designs for Masaru's puppets.

I'm kiiiiinda confused about how much they are rushing the manga because isn't that arc really deep into the manga? O_o

Like, did they turn all great moments between first chapter and Sahara battle into mess? Did the circus get any development?

Episode 15:

Well, the current episode now focuses on Masaru's perspective and it was revealed that his dad actually perform a memory transfer on him. As a result, he then got targeted by several puppeteers from Kuroga Village and even then, Masaru ended up meeting with his grandfather who is put in an aquarium and in a bit of a bad shape. Sadly, his grandfather only recognize Masaru as Sadayoshi Saiga... Poor Masaru. Also, the puppets that Sadayoshi created is pretty lit tbh

After Episode 16, gotta back and read the manga

[up][up]The prologue (1-4) was well paced. The circus and the whole Sahara arc (6-14) were rushed like there was no tomorrow.

Episode 16:

Well, now we mostly see the flashback between Masaru's grandfather, Souji, and Angelina. So that's how the name Shirogane came to be and the reason why Souji is a bit of an immortal.

Late thoughts on Episode 17:

Well, we got more flashbacks regarding Eleanore/Shirogane being the real daughter of Souji and Angelina Saiga and we got another scene on how Sadayoshi interfere with their lives. In the past, Guy isn't much of a saint because he tries to kidnap Angelina's daughter and use her as the next Shirogane and we also saw Guy's Dark and Troubled Past being abandoned by his mother. But fortunately Angelina manages to subdue him and adopt him as a child she never have before. In the meantime, Souji also met with the Francine Doll and man she is savage when trying to make Eleanor cry by spanking her but it's for the best tongue I wonder what will the next episode bring. Only one nitpick that I'm not sure about Guy's age at all.

Episode 18:

Things went into hell once we get the puppets trying to attack the Saiga household to obtain the Soft Stone from Angelina Saiga after she gave a birth to the baby and despite Francine's efforts to stop them, she ended up getting defeated and it's really nice to see Francine smile but it's also the last time she ever had considered that she is truly dissolved by the soft stone that Shirogane/Eleanore had and yeah, the Soft Stone had been transferred to Eleanore without getting her operated. And yeah, RIP Angelina too after she tried at her best to protect her family from the puppets. Hopefully she will stay happy in the heaven and god how a great mom she is. And that concludes the flashback story I guess and Guy also feels rather sad after Angelina's death.
