Yu-Gi-Oh BLANK Discussion thread

So I picked up a pack of cards from target today (My first in a while) and I thought on the ride home "Hey, maybe I can rebuild my Cyber Dragon deck with the new stuff."

Then I got home, saw the pricing for Emergency Cyber and immediately cancelled that idea.

I've picked up a bad habit of swinging by Target or Walmart just to pick up packs, even when there's nothing I'd want from them just to see.

I've got a sizable stack of cards that I need to unload on my friends or just get rid of that way. That said, I also pulled enough to make a (mostly) fully functional Vampire deck and have most of the cards I need for Orcust and Ninjas. >.>

That's actually the exact scerio that lead to me buying that pack. One of the "25 Cards From Random Sets We Couldn't Sell" types.

Still, $15 for one of the decks primary cards? Thats not even counting infinity or megafleet. As much as I love Cyber Dragon's, I'm not doin that.

Ah New Year's eve. People are partying, drinks are being had, and a group of my friends keep video calling me on discord in a erratic matter refusing to tell me where they are and how many people are there.

At least you're still not wanting to build Sky Strikers or Nekroz. Those cards are never going to have their core cards under 25... and $25 is generous for sky strikers

Alas, that’s just the price of card games. The best cards are always the most expensive...

I am considering making a demise deck, mainly because all the archetype cards are pretty cheap. Even the Impcantations are like $1.30 for the priciest ones.

yeah that's usually how it goes.

Most of the decks I run are because none of the cards cost over $10.

Though I do have an Incomplete Monarch deck around my house that I'm tempted to finish.

It's particularly sad for Cyber Dragons. They have a starter deck, but all their best cards were introduced outside of it.

I did some looking around from my last post and I noticed that Infinity and Megafleet are going for surprisingly cheap (Like 1-3 dollars each). Meaning I'm immensely confused as to why Cyber Emergency is literally $15 at least. Hertz is also pretty expensive. Dragunities, meanwhile, are all less then a dollar on average.

Whats really weird about Emergency is that half the other secret rares from the same pack are all cheaper (Exceptions include No. 75 and Golden Castle). Was it short printed or something?

Im mostly irritated that Nekroz continue to be expensive not because they're still meta, but because they have never reprinted any of them since they came out.

Damn, I thought they were reprinted in like a Tournament pack at least once...

Not to mention THEY'RE ALL F*CKING SECRET RARES!

I lucked out and pulled a Thunderdragon Colossus over the weekend.

Decided to try out Thunderdragons online. I'm... kiiind of shocked they haven't been hit by the ban list by now. They feel so very oppressive.

Calling it now: If they do anything about Thunder Dragons, they'll limit Titan and that's it.

In more RP related news, I've gotten into contact with Taco, apparently they've been sick. Still nothing from Stanman tho.

Aaaaaaaaaaand thats some badass fucking new World Legacy cards. Too bad Astram is going to be whored out in every deck like lightning

So basically Dingirsu is Longirus' Mega Zord/Eva Unit/Gundam and Astram is Maximus' SSB form.

I would also like to point out that the character from a series of archetypes heavily influenced/based on jrpgs has a sword that is a legendary key.

Oh yeah that game is finally coming out this month. I don't have any consoles that can play it (Hoping for a 3.5 Switch version or something like that) nor have I ever really played any of the games. 14 years of hype for a sequel tho, people are gonna go insane when 3 actually comes out, from sheer joy.

I added Machina Megaform to my Machina deck. Still waiting for Platinum Gadget.

And so the last of dark neostorm is revealed. We got:

• Those last few Dinowrestler cards, finally.
• A Guardragon fusion card that isn’t called “Guardragon Fusion” and as such disappoints me immensely.
• Shark support?
• The usual random spell/traps.
• Orcust Barrier... Uh oh.

Guardragon's Reincarnation is meh. It doesn't even fit with the gameplan that most people are assigning Almarduk, which is using super poly to break your opponent's links. The commercial actually advertises using super poly to break an extra link XD

Orcustrated Climax though?
