As the two are talking, the silhouette of a person begins to appear in the sand storm. It slowly, begins to sneak up on the two. Then, before they had time to react, the person wearing a raggedy brown robe covering their face and body immerged from the sand and... fell face first into the dirt, exhausted and coughing out large chunks of sand.

Izya is currently smacking his digivice against the wall.

"Come on, work" Izzy said, "I wanna know what's happening!"

"You know" Wormmon chimed in, "you could always leave the lab and see what's happening outside."

"Wormmon don't be crazy."

Suddenly, another ping came up onto Izzys computer as the newest survey was accepted and the invite link was sent.

Izzy groaned as he still had no idea why his equipment was acting up still.

"Oh well. On the upside. Shannon, you've got another person to go with you."

Euca reaches the Digimon Lab one day with his invitation letter in his hand, as he had been accepted into the Digimon programme. He checks the address and the building in front of him to see if it is he correct location.

Suddenly, a tree opened to digilab and Iziya and Wormmon waved at the new comer.

"Hi" Izzy said, "welcome to the digital world. Please come to this tree so you won't get eaten."

"Wow, you sure are great at introductions sir."

"I am doing the best I can Wormmon!"

Euca smiles as he walks into the lab, looking around it in awe as it is his first time in the lab.

"Hello there, I'm Euca and I was invited here to the Digimon Lab after completing a survey on my laptop. The survey gave me a link, which I clicked, and sent me to here."

"Well" Izzy said, a little shocked, "you sure are taking the whole getting trapped in another world thing pretty well."

"Wait until you get your digimon" Wormmon chimed, "Izzy?"

"Yeah, yeah."

Izzy typed on his digivice and led Euca to the others.

"New guy" Izzy said, introducing everyone, "other people. Other people, new guy."

Iziya pressed one more button and a pinging noise began coming from Eucas pocket.

Euca checks his pocket once he feels and hears the ping and checks his pocket to find a Digivice in it.

Amber didn't want to seem rude to the new guy but she had a job to do and didn't feel like procrastinating. So she nodded to him as she climbed into he boat, still carrying Kotemon. After sitting down she splashed some water in his face to try and wake him up. While it didn't work she could see him reacting a little which convinced her that he shouldn't be out cold much longer.

As soon as Euca touches the small, yellow rectangle, a dark green light shoots into the air.

It spins for a moment, then slams down to the ground in an explosion of light.

Standing before Euca is the digimon he had chosen. Renamon.

Meanwhile, Wormmon crawled up to Amber and handed her green spray bottle.

"Here" Wormmon said, "this should wake him up... it'll sting a lot though, so maybe stand a few feet back."

Erode Desert, Cave

Both Nicole and Sparks were stopping their talking as they noticed the man fell to the ground, rushing over to him "Wh-What happened with you? Can you hear me?!"

Samuel looked over at Fanbeemon, who was back up afterthe whole "becoming a giant wasp" thing and was flitting about.

"So! Where're we gonna go now?" He asked, landing on his head.

"That...is a good question. Izzey looks like he's busy so it may be a good idea to go out and see if we can make a difference in our travels?"

"but what about your new friends?" He gestured. "They're all just kids! Shouldn't you protect them?"

"Compelling argument, but they have monsters to defend them, and you're all ready enough to a handful."

The person slowly lifted their head up, the brown hood that covered their face falling off.

Under the hood was a head with rosy pink hair, full lips, and a cream colored face covered in freckles.

The hooded girls brown eyes , full of tears, looked at Nicole and sparks.

"Fooooooooooooood" the girl said, before her head fell back into the sand... and then shot up again, "something crispy, maybe meat." Her head flopped into the sand once more... and then got up again, "ooh, and maybe a fruit drink."

This continued for a bit.

Iziya looked over at Samuel having over heard what he had said.

"Hold up" Izzy said, "you want to take off?"

"Well" Wormmon chimed, "it's not like we can keep them if they want to leave."

"Yeah, but still..."

Wormmon crawled over to Samuel and tapped the floor infront of him.

"Map installed" Chimed Samuels digivice, "Fast travel active."

"There ya go" Wormmon said, "now you have a map, and you can teleport to places you've already visited... but, just a heads up, it causes serious vertigo and nausea, so pack a barf bag."

The little bug then turned to the others.

"I went ahead and did the same to your guys digivices, no biggy."

"Yes biggy" Izzy said, annoyed, "that's my job."

"Well, you're bad at it."

Euca looks at Wormmon, wondering what he will do next.

"I'm ready to receive new instructions now."

"Well" Izzy said, pinching Wormmons cheeks, "if you don't mind, could ya maybe go with the ten year old girl to heaven."

"Ow, ow, ow, oooowww" Wormmon cried out in pain, "you're gonna tear ma face off!"

Since Amber was already in the boat she decided not to use the liquid Wormon handed her just yet, after all she didn't want to capsize and it might be useful later. "Lets just get this journey to the Dark Area over with already."

"Alright then" Izzy said to Amber and Mark, "just keep going straight. It'll be awhile before you get there, so maybe you can talk or play eye spy or something."

"You could always try and fight random digimon on your way there" Wormmon added, "the battle experience may be beneficial."

"...Or, it might turn them into lunch."

"Oh... right, sorry."

Erode Desert, Cave

Nicole and sparks looked at eachother for a moment as the person started that, both having to surpress a slight chuckle before Nicole went over to her stuff to check if she had water of some sort or anything really

Notcing Nicole opening her bag, the strange girl shoots up and plops down right next to her.

"Oh, thank you" she said, her mouth drooling, "now, let's eat up."

She begins helping her self, pulling out any food Nicole might have and popping it into her mouth.

"Welp *chew* not great *chomp* bedder den nothen. *swallow* Got any more?"

Euca continues waiting for instructions on his new Digimon as he watches Izzy and Wormmon

Wormmon looks over at the Renamon, then at Euca.

"Hey" Wormmon says, "You got a Renamon. Those Data type, animal digimon, with the grass attribute."

"Huh" Izzy said, still holding Wormmon hostage, "it's actually been awhile sense I've seen one. Hi."

Iziya waves at Eucas digimon.

Euca's Renamon waves at Izzy as he thinks of a name for her.

"Well," Shannon said. "If nobody's coming with me, then I'll go myself. Come on, Malcolm."

Malcolm followed Shannon obediently. Shannon checked her supplies one more time and walked off into the woods.

"Send people after me if you want, but I think we'll be fine," came her muffled voice from the forest.

Izzy and Wormmon watched as the ten year old walked off.

"Hey Euca" Izzy said to the new recruit, "you mind going with her?"

"She'll probably get murderlated if you don't" Wormmon added, "poor, poor Shane."

"I think it's Shannon."

"Bill?"

"I don't mind going with her. "

Euca happily goes to his Renamon

Erode desert, Cave

Nicole and Sparks wer both rather speechless from that, both looking to the girl silence before looking at eachother for a moment followed by again looking at the girl "Err... glad to hear it's good enough? And no, no you ate quite literally everything even remotely edible I had with me" Faced with the absolute lack of any food now, Nicole merely sighed "Sooo... might I ask for a name orrrrr...?"

The strange girl swallowed the last of Nicoles food, then shot up from where she was sitting.

Spinning on her tip toes, she threw her head back and began talking in a grand, deep voice.

"I, my new friend, am the desert rose of Ikebukuro, the songstress of Olympus, the pink blossom the twinkles in the light of dawn." she suddenly stopped spinning and threw her raggedy cloche back as though it were a fancy cape, showing that she had rather fancy (and expensive, clothes on). "I'm the queen of spirit evolution, Maya Kobayashi!"

She stood there for a moment, striking a dramatic pose, then her stomach grumbled again and she fell to the ground in a lump of sadness.

"soooooooooo hungreeeeyyyy."
