Yes. Yes it is. I like making themed decks more than anything. Because doing so is fun.
Except Return of the Dragon Lords. I like that one.
I’ll add in those extra deck suggestions and replace Axe Dragonute with Darkest Diablos

I've played....very casually, and honestly, last time I was up to date was the 5ds era. Did play Duelinks for awhile.

I've found a list of various archetypes
It is somewhat outdated (so you have Neos listed as godawful despite being decent after Savage Strike) but still have archetypes up until the Link era. Hopefully it may help some newcomers pick a deck.
