I can't be convinced Shiva wouldn't show up at Axel's doorstop the same way.

I mean remember on the flip side alot of guys in Shiva's Do Jo were pro Y supporters and were constantly trying to get him to join up so Its not Axel and Co were beating up random people most of them were trying to get in good with the Y siblings

Shiva fights his way through a overly hostile apartment complex... just deliver Axel a package sent to him by mistake... and then they throw down.

While, fair that the opponents weren't innocent, point is that Axel's crew doesn't really do subtle. They're constantly just leaving a wake of destruction behind them. Regardless of justification, that's going to provoke very specific responses from people.

Yeah, Shiva does seem like he's cut from the same cloth. I guess when it's all they know, old habits die hard.

Recently watched someone who got a Ms. Y "Hey, Buddy!" She's basically the perfect ally to get. She aggressively pokes, which aggroes enemies onto her a lot, then her hopping around, iframing like crazy can more or less distract them indefinitely.

Yeah, "Momentary distraction" can sometimes be lifesaving in that mode so "Indefinite distraction" sounds momentous.

I wonder if "hey buddy" has an upper limit? Like if you grab it after receiving the maximum upgrade does it spawn you another Galsia and have you start from the beginning again?

I could be wrong, but from what I've pieced together between my own play and watching other streamers, the upgrade queue only puts in exactly enough copies to get you to max rank (for any given upgrade). So I don't think that scenario is possible. Once you get far enough, the stages just start giving you nothing but weapons and tri-star drops.

Bumping this up from the dead, the game has gotten a ''huge'' update and it and the DLC are on sale. Update adjusts almost every singe player character with details that are too much to list, survival mode and Mania + got some tweaks as well. There's a LOT.

I saw it. It was a small update, filesize wise but damn if it ain't meaty.

Not surprised it was small in size since mostly everything was revised rather than new stuff being added.

Oh damn you can do CPU vs CPU fight now.

Time to find out how many Galsias it takes to down each boss.

Lucky me still playing thing game regularly after all this time.

Damn, gonna have to check this game out again.

It's been a while, since there's so many games for the Switch right now — many of them beat 'em ups too, because it seems we're in a resurgence right now.
