I thought female characters getting distracted by male characters was Eating the Eye Candy.
I don't think so. Both tropes are unisex, as far as I know. Eating the Eye Candy is when they are simply checking out another character, Distracted by the Sexy is when this has comedic consequences.
Many tropes are written as single-sex (or in single-sex terms) simply because that's how they usually happen. That doesn't mean those tropes are exclusively single-sex.
For tropes that actually are exclusively single-sex, that's almost always explicit in the trope description, usually with a link to the counterpart. If it isn't explicit, it should probably be edited in.
Edited since I was half-asleep while writing it.

Check out my fanfiction! You seem to have the meaning of the word "unisex" backwards. It means that gender is not a factor.
You said "unisex" when you mean "gendered"...
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaMeh. I originally wrote it the other way around. But yeah, that's what I meant. No wonder I was confused when I wrote it. Still, you know what I mean.
Check out my fanfiction!I don’t think it’s exclusive for one gender. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/discussion.php?id=hs9cx8tq63ck2d97dr2jp1jl#lnk

So I was about to add an example of Distracted By The Sexy from My Huntsman Academia when Izuku inadvertently manages to mesmerize Yang with his abs to the point that she forgot what she was doing and began reaching for them without meaning to. But then I read the Trope description and noticed it only mentioned females.
Should this trope only be for girls? Or can guys be the source of distraction as well?
