Man, these ideas don’t stop popping up, eh? Lo and behold a new idea has graced me yesterday. It’s called martha and the vitreous 6, a idea aimed for a bit more younger audiences compared other stuff I work on. The basic premise is “7 kids turn into heroes embodying each of the 7 virtues of citizenship”. On paper, doesn’t sound too familiar but my basis of inspiration was...what else, my little pony: friendship is magic. Heck, some of the character concepts i’m trying to flesh out might be similar to a few.

  • Joy- girl. Youngest of group. Navie and happy go lucky.
  • Charity- girl. Oldest of group. Acts as a team mom.
  • Harmony- girl. The leader. Friendly and helpful to others. (martha)
  • Inspiration- girl. Aspiring artist. Eccentric and always comes up with the strangest ideas.
  • Courage- boy. Second youngest. Stubborn and adventurous. Secretly fears the dark.
  • Honesty- boy. Second oldest. Down to earth. Acts as the team dad.
  • Empathy- boy. Animal lover. Tends to be very sensitive.

I just wanted to ask your thoughts on the premise and see what I can do with it.

Hey I forget, what superpowers should they have? So far empathy can feel what others are feeling and somehow take to animals. Joy is very boucey, like a ball, and her happiness is infectious. Inspiration has a paint brush that can make anything. Courage has the roar of a lion and super strength. Honesty has a lasso that encourages people to tell the truth (ala wonder woman). Harmony boosts the other virtues powers.

Not sure about charity.
