Making new account- email questions

I want to make a new account to use instead of this one from now on (because can't change username), but my only personal email address (the one I will use for my new account) is already in use for this account. I understand this means that I have to change this account's email to free it up, but I'm not sure what to change it to:

• I don't want to use my school email
• Creating a whole new Google account is too much effort
• I'm hesitant to use a 10minutemail or similar, because of a few issues, including these two questions.

1. On the Get Known page it says that disposable email users get banned; does this only apply to registration or is change covered as well? Prob a silly question, but I need to know for sure before I make any decisions because I'm not completely done with this account (will still need access to it to carry over data and to mark on troper page and forums that it's no longer in use)
2. How does the email change process work exactly? Haven't found a proper explanation in the administrivia pages I've checked

I'm determined to make that new account so if making a whole new sock gmail for this one thing is what I have to do I'll do it, but need to check for easier options first

You do need a second email address to change your associated email, or associate your current email address with a different TV Tropes account. We do ban disposable mailhosts on detection, so I don't recommend going that route. How you get another email address is up to you: most providers offer more than one per individual/account.

I don't think that the same email can be used more than once. And we don't have a way to override that limit.

Thanks for answering one of my questions. I would still appreciate more info on how the email change process works (in terms of what verification steps come after typing it in and pressing change) if possible, but thanks for answering question 1 so I know not to use a 10minutemail. It seems like the only way to make a second gmail is to make another account and connect it to the main one, but I can do that and it might come in useful in the future to have a second email so that's prob what I'll do since my school email is for school
