Heh. I admit I kinda expected Xiaomei to be the Fortune Teller once she conveniently walked away to greet some guests at the beginning of the chapter.

Hmm. I wonder if Xiao mei's the fortune teller because she has narrator powers, or if she's the narrator because she has fortune teller powers.

Never expected the narrator character to be the most perverted one.

Well. I officially like Xiao Mei. She's crazy in a fun way, and understands her role in the story as well as a narrator should, managing to find enjoyment within that role.

Xiao Mei continues to be the best girl in the manga. Not much happened, but this was nice.

I suppose that's one way to look at it.

It just caught me off guard to be honest.

So it's not currently clear to why she's the narrator- Like, it's clear that she's telling the story, but not writing it. Which is to say that she does not control the outcome of events, but merely knows about them, and indeed desperately seeks events that fall outside of her omniscience. She is therefore a rather limited narrator; a True narrator can of course control the story almost completely. She's the narrator because she has Fortune Teller powers, to answer my question from last week.

Which makes M84's question above feel relevant to me: Was she actually addressing the audience? Does her vision extend to the fourth wall? Or was that just trickery on the author's part?

We all probably should have seen that last fighter coming.

I thought it was going to be the real one so I did not.

The chapter title had me going 'wait, Valkyrie's relevant already? Man, I guess we're gonna move through these fights faster than I thought.' And then when they were really building up to Homura's opponent, I put two and two together. I did not guess it was a replica, but honestly that makes a lot more sense.

I like how the Climax Boss in this mini tournament arc is one of the side-characters' bouts, while the MC's bout was a rather trivial Curb-Stomp Battle.

I like that as well.

There was a new chapter.

Read it. apparently the Valkyrie who appeared is a fake, albeit one with all her memories.

They pointed out that "Valkyrie" was a replica at the end of the previous chapter.

Also apparently Sister Ivery isn't the only one with an actual name. They Homura refers to her teacher as Valkyrie Yuna in the chapter. Which means Witch and Hermit probably also have names and we haven't gotten them yet.
