Alright, I’ve started reorganizing the Game Breaker page, although the descriptions can still be trimmed down a lot I think.

Looks good so far. As far as the descriptions, considering the nature of the page, I don't think their length hurts the page. Maybe sandbox the changes you want to make?

Chapter 34 done! A bit too much on the abstract side for my tastes (a lot of the dialogue flew over my head, not gonna lie), but man scenes between Mei and Elysia are always so great. Mei just sounds so happy to share moments with her it warms my heart… Though I kinda wish she had more moments like that with, you know, her actual girlfriend.

Also SIEGFRIED IS BACK BABY!!! And hopefully Kiana and Dudu’s new sisterly bond will help make the latter less… bland. Make her blush, make her banter, I don’t know, but give her an actual personality, please.

I'm about halfway through the story...it's been hard finding a block of time to dedicate to plowing through it.

I'm enjoying this new side mission with the Flame-Chasers, although some parts of it are kinda counterintuituive.

Just a quick note to say that I really like Eden's outfit in the new side adventure and I really hope it becomes available soon.

Isn't that the one that was from BP on 6.2?

Because if so it's very much "pray it shows up again" but not sure how long it might take.

Yeah, I play her with that outfit. It’s beautiful for sure.

*forehead smack* I completely forgot that that was an older outfit...and now that I've been reminded, I changed my Eden over to it.

Okay, this week’s Abyss was complete bullshit. Struggling in Nirvana is par for the course, but I think it’s the first time I can’t even get past the second mob stage. And from what I’ve seen, some players have actually retained without even reaching the boss.

I'm really enjoying this new event with Fu Hua, but it annoys me to no end that it doesn't take up the entire screen. The writing in the calendar prompts is so tiny that I have to take a screenshot of the options and blow it up to see the fine print.

So HoO is… a bit on the technical side, I can’t quite nail the timing of her combos yet. HoFi completes Kiana’s Dante-ification that started with HoF but I don’t have her kit yet so I’ll have to wait to play the ultimate trio.

Regardless, both are an absolute blast to play.

Ho Fi finally uses a baseball bat. Automatic win.

I haven't pulled for either of them yet, I'll probably do that this weekend.

I love the new outfits for Fallen Rosemary and Stygian Nymph. The new outfits for HoFS and Sushang are pretty cool, but those two are *chef's kiss*

Kiana would of been much better if they kept the other hair style.

I've seen a lot of interesting stuff for this franchise, but I've never been able to get into it. I tried the game and it just didn't grab me enough.

Is there somewhere to start besides the game? I know there are a bunch of videos, but those don't seem like good starting points. Or does the game just get better after a couple hours?

Depends where you are. Obviously it’s more fun once you have a decent roster at your disposal and get a good grasp of the mechanics (the starter units are kinda lame honestly).

As for the story, I’d say it gets really interesting around chapter 5, after which it gets pretty intense − and more visually appealing too, as the budget considerably increased with time.

There are also some spin-off mangas on Mihoyo’s site and Mangadex, Second Eruption being the biggest one (a prequel centered on the Herrscher of the Void).

Not really ready for the end.

I'm still only about halfway through the actual story part of ch. 34, mainly because I haven't had time to dedicate to just sit and plow through it. I really wish they'd put hard breaks between the sections so you could choose whether to proceed or get out.

I got my art book reward yesterday, I just need to make time this weekend to go through it.

For anyone in the US, apparently you can tell if it's coming to your house by using Informed Delivery. Though it doesn't seem to work for everyone, as nothing is showing up for me. Though I live in the eastern part of the US, and people getting the artbook seem to be near the west coast.

And on that note, provided it's not crossing a line, what area of the US do you live in?

That's more east than I was expecting, but with any luck, that means my copy will show up in the next week or so.

Haven’t finished chapter 35 yet, but man it’s becoming weird… the "player" Captain is kinda made canon but kinda not, as a sort of silent outside observer from a parallel dimension? The shmup level was a ton of fun though, a bit of a Bayonetta vibe.

In other news, the new Valkyrie for 6.5 is Susannah. Yep. I contemplated it as a joke but I didn’t think they’d actually do it.
