The game may be recently (as in March 2018) released globally, but it has made quite the buzz, so... I wonder if some of us here played it.

Hyperion captains, unite!

I'd like to have a platform to discuss the game together, so... Let's do it? :D

Intentional double post, for starters:

• I'm playing in the SEA server (genuine SEA guy here) since March, which means I missed around 6 months since its start. But at least on the last 3 months I've been level 66 (including all of my valks) and get all of the base A-rank valks (except for Black Nucleus).
• 8 of my valks have been upgraded to S.
• Got only a few "purple" grade weapons and stigmata, either I buy them from the shop, get them drop from event stages, or as event gifts. Only ever got 1 such stigmata from the gacha: Michaelangelo T
• Mostly a f2p guy ("mostly" since I do buy monthly card, not to mention certain bundles I found interesting).
• Stays in Agony Abyss for my sanity.
• My favorite game modes are the Armada Matrix Explore and (to a lesser extent) Sakura Samsara.
• Mei is my waifu. (Although I struggle with Shadow Dash currently, man SD frags are hard to farm and I need her to be S)
• I really love the yuri aspects of the game lol. Always brings me the giggles.

P.S. I'm making this thread partly because I can't easily access Reddit where they've made a Houkai 3rd thread, and apparently someone from Reddit have made the TV Tropes page about the game, sooo... Yeah.

I heard the global server gives more crystals, ie that true?

What's your current team setup?

^ for which mode, specifically?

The main story I guess.

If I'm actually trying to complete the levels I won't have any "setting" because I'm gonna follow what the story mode's levels would tell me.

But for most of the time I'm just farming in the already complete levels and I usually use LE, SS and either VR or IR.

(yeah, got an LE in the interim)

No I mean like what characters.

So I just tried to log in after not playing for a few months only to find my progress was reset. Has this happened to anyone else/is there a way to fix it?

So, I recently discovered this game and am really digging it. Strong gameplay, story, and presentation would do that.

Question for long-time players though: I'm currently missing the last two CG movies of "Chapter Sakura Samsara" in the Replays. Does anyone know what I need to do to unlock them?

I've completed the main story and side-story of Sakura Samsara, and have completed a Normal Mode Raid for the Jizo Mitama. Do I need to complete a Hard Mode Raid as well?

The CG won't download unless you're playing with Wi-Fi.

Like I mentioned, I did completed the Raid where the CGs were supposed to appear (Thank you, Youtube videos), and it's impossible to do those without Wi-fi :p

Actually, is there a way to play this game without Wi-fi? I always get the "Failed to connect to the internet. Please check your network settings" when I try to play the game without internet or mobile data on.

Anyway, I think it might be because I went straight to the last stage after completing the previous one, which might not have triggered the CG. Either that, or I should have manually downloaded all event CGs in my account page beforehand.

Unfortunately, it didn't trigger when I tried to do it properly, likely because I already completed the stage and got the weapon, so I'll try again when the Raid rotates.

In the meantime, we got a new incoming Valkyrie, specifically the new character that first showed up during the Schicksal assault.

Hope this means the return of Seele is coming.

Her being "dead" is supposed to be important after all...

Well, Seele is only dead in the literal quantum sense (i.e., She's stuck in the quantum realm), so she's ripe to be another Valk's Awakening. Plus, bringing The Lost Lenore back in an incomplete way would be a way to bring Bronya back to the story once she wakes up.

So I finally emailed Mihoyo's support team after the last Sakura Samsara CGs still refused to unlock, and after checking into it, it looks like I encountered a genuine bug, and they're targeting to have it fixed by the next version update.

I gotta say, their support team is quite decent. I sent a report to their SEA email on the weekend, received a response asking for the specific details they need to look into the bug (Game ID, screenshots, etc) at the crack of dawn on Monday, and received a status report with Estimated Time to Completion 2-3 days afterwards.

Chariot, if you're still looking into this thread, I would recommend checking the contact details of the server you're on and sending an email regarding your issue.

What about Wendy? She's gone too fast, I don't want her to die, especially That easily. I really want to see her as a Valkyrie she once was...

Yeah, Wendy was surprisingly one and done for a Herrscher. Who knows, maybe she'll return some day since she was killed offscreen.

I mean, stranger things have happened: Seele finally arriving (complete with an official translation of her comic for the Global peeps who don't know her history), Global and SEA catching up with Japan to only be one version behind China, characters sharing weapons without being Awakenings, and a Honkai Impact anime being announced:

Just gonna pop in and say I recently played the game and it's great...Have to admit that the data is huge but hopefully it doesn't detract my enjoyment

I've just now gotten around to binging all of Cooking with Valkyries...it's a really cute and charming series, but this latest episode is a feels avalanche.

All stories focusing on Sakura is automatically a feels avalanche

Especially if Kallen is involved

True... Sakura is really a woobie and I guess Kiana and Bronya.

If you think about it, practically every character has had a hard life in the series, including several of the villains (The manga really made the 2nd Herrscher into a Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds)

Speaking of side-materials, the official youtube channels has just started releasing something unexpected, but definitely not unwelcome

This page is a mess. It was made by a now-banned troper who had hideous grammar, and I can barely make sense of what's being said, so trying to fix it feels like an exercise in futility. Does anyone think this can be salvaged, or should it just be cutlisted?

@Willbyr I guess it can be salvaged. But I'm not going to do it mainly because I'm afraid that my grammar skills is not good.

Anyways, anyone have seen the Honkai Impact 3rd video role
