Gespenst - Gotham PD

Gespenst could respect his opponent's frankness in his intentions, though for a guy willing to so quickly accuse him of trying to impose an ideology on the city, he certainly was quick to admit he intended to do the same, if perhaps not as heavy handed about it.

"Alright then, you do you. If you want to try and spread your message to the masses then you're well within your rights to. I'm going to focus on liberating the people of this city and helping them get back on their feet so they can take care of themselves."

The black mech stared into the sky, just thinking, idly wondering what the future was going to hold for himself and the people of this city when another thought came to him. Without looking down at O'kais, he asked another question.

"So what happens once people flock to your ideal, to 'the greater good'?"

Marx – Koopa Kasino (Underground Parking Lot =====> Ground Floor)

Apparently someone made an intercom message, huh?

"Yeah...hopefully she didn't miss us, heheheh!", Marx said to Mr. Scratch as he opened the door the Casino and stepped into the unfolding chaos inside it.

"Hey Hey Hey! Did you miss me? For now, let me aid you guys in this bloodbath", a dark shadow moved quickly towards the other Titan Henchman. And when managed to be under the Henchman's feet, Marx jumped from it, with his clawed wings out, try to give this steroid-using fool a lethal wound on the back of his neck and head.

Naga - Targ Village -> Targ Trail

"What? I'm... Nama...." Nama slowly drawled out to Juri and Yue. "I was an adventurer and touched the treasure, but I don't remember much.... But... I need to go on an adventure! Nama is an adventurer, she helps people and gets treasure! Quickly, we have a guide!"

She eagerly followed after the Seeq, humming as they went down the trail.

"Your wasteland?" she asked the mage. "You sure haven't kept this place clean. And be careful where you put that fireball, you could burn someone! Nama will put it out for you! Howl Freeze!"

She waved her hands at the blue mage, causing a small, localized Blizzard to appear all around them, and blowing cold, moist, icy wind towards the stranger.

M16A1 - Gotham Streets

"Not gonna pay! Jesus, how am I possibly going to make end's meet!?" M16 asked Reiko in shock. Then she laughed. "I took this from some assholes trying to kill each other over some drugs in the alleyway, I don't give a shit about the ice cream. It was just the easiest thing to grab. Besides, if you really think about it, you load up a truck or SUV, people are going to assume you're protecting something, and every crook in town who thinks whatever piece-of-shit strap he's packing means he's got a shot at getting what's inside. I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't feel that desperate to make new friends in town.

"Shit, is that where we're going next?" she asked Amagi. "Sounds fishy... and familiar...." She scratched her head. Why did that sound familiar?

"Oh yeah, your bug pal is right," she added to Reiko. "That boss of yours just took off and said not to worry. He seemed uh... a couple parts short of a repair pack, if you catch my drift. But whatever, just hop in and let's get the hell out of here."

One of the shotgun-variant M16s waited for everyone to get in before hopping in back and closing the door, while M16 sat behind the wheel and took off, heading towards their destiny.

Rosalina - Robodinoland Cauldron

Luma withdrew its hand from the console. The big pink person had intervened, so the terminal would be allowed to live. For now. It floated over to the wreck that Medusa had destroyed and gave it a good kick just to be sure.

"It seems that we're safe for now," Rosalina said, floating up a little and peering down at the machines below. "We can deal with them later, first things first."

She resumed floating, this time over to the downed Bellowback, and took a look at it. She waved her wand about, this way and that way, manipulating parts of the machine to turn them over, and get a better look.

"That liquid it carried around was a fuel of some sort... probably plant-based, considering the residue and the odor." She scratched her chin. "Despite that all, most of the machine hardly seems to be any worse for the wear. The electrical components have all been ruined, but the body looks as strong as ever. I think I can say we've found a suitable material for building walls on my Observatory."

Luma nodded in agreement.

Bowsette, Casino

Bowsette snarled at the Titan Henchmen as they charged from the back of the truck, ready to meet them head on. She frowned when they completely ignored her, moving to attack the other two. She felt insulted, glaring at the twisted men. Did they think she wasn't a threat? She was twice the size of the small dark-haired girl!

The horned woman pushed her annoyance aside though, as she strode closer and gave the van a proper look inside. It was full of unconscious people, and explosives. The sight made her blood boil, the intent of it obvious. They were trying to blow up her casino! She moved closer to start removing it from the building, when that same voice started up once again. This time from the vehicle itself. She glared burning death at the source and promised to track down and destroy the person behind this for messing with her. Her eyes widened as the timer started, and she started to move again. "You're not blowing up my base!"

Of course, that when another bratty, arrogant idiot had to show up. Or return. Scratch showed his cowardly face again now that she was busy doing other things, standing on top of the van and shouting at her. Bowsette glared at him for a moment but otherwise ignored him, at least until there was a screech of metal and a slot machine flew towards her. With a snarl, she swung her arm and backhanded the machine out of the air; Showing a glimpse of the monstrous strength that was contained within her body. "I don't have time to play games with you, runt. Stay out of my way and I might let you run away again afterwards."

And then, the Queen of the Koopa got serious. Lifting one foot, and then the other, she kicked her heels off; Leaving her standing barefooted. And then with a surprising burst of speed, and a cracked footprint in the floor, she covered the rest of the short distance to the truck. Reaching inside, she grabbed hold of two of the unconscious people and uncaringly threw them aside and onto the floor; Working to make the truck lighter.

Koopa Kasino - Miniboss Fight!

While Tira's attack landed, she would find that the being is made of sterner stuff. Even so, there was now a large gash in place at his chest which caused the Titan to cry out in agony... before slowly being replaced with laughter instead. "YES. YEESSSSSS..." The henchman poked his finger deep into the wound, causing him to wince uncontrollably while also giving him a forbidden sense of pleasure. Having felt the ecstasy of pain, he shot a eager, blood-crazed look towards his Mistress.

"GIVE. MORE!" The masochist of a Titan shouted, stomping hard enough to cause a minor shockwave on the ground before charging himself towards the fighter with reckless abandon; striking at her faster and faster at the cost of entirely neglecting his defense in the hopes of achieving new heights of pain.

Meanwhile, the other Titan Henchman has been caught completely off-guard by Wulfrik's bull rush. For the moment, it looks as though he was about to lose his footing and be completely overtaken by the Chosen of Chaos.

Until the man started insulting his mum.

Suddenly, as if surged on by newfound strength, the Titan planted his two feet onto the floor and stood his ground against the viking. "TAKE. THAT.    BACK!   " He snarled, grappling onto his adversary as he tried to deliver a crushing elbow strike towards his back, followed by a swift knee-kick at his stomach before finishing it off by attempting to throw the man at the casino wall with incredible force(assuming his previous combo lands successfully).

Regardless if his attack was successful, Wulfrik would find that his opponent is properly enraged and looking ready to take on the viking with everything he has... up until Marx's sudden surprise attack landed, puncturing a hole on the Titan's neck. Gurgling, the giant of a man landed on one knee while futilely trying to stop the bleeding with his hand. As he saw his lifeblood fading away from him, the inmate managed to croak out a soft whimper before inevitably slumping onto the ground. "D-die... DON'T- WANT...!"

As the battle rages on and Bowsette tries to lighten the truck's load(a simple task given that the occupants are all unconscious and the Koopa Queen's rough treatment), the digital clock continues to count down unimpeded by the chaos surrounding it.

Koopa Kasino: In Case You Haven't Gotten the Message Yet, Bowsette...

Mr. Scratch grinned wider as the slot machine soared through the air...only for the shelled shrew to swat it away like a dodge ball. On instinct, he stepped backwards. That machine must've weighed more than 300 lbs, and she could just slap it away? Not even one of his Taken Giants could've done that! Who the hell was this bitch?!

Then the Koopa Queen brushed him aside too, and all the shock in his dark eyes burned away—replaced with a greater desire to bury this bitch.

"You still haven't taken the hint?" Scratch shouted down at Bowsette. He shot a hand toward the bar counter to his left, and at another slot machine to his right. The Darkness possessed these objects like vengeful poltergeists, and violently rendered them from the floor. As he clapped his hands together, he cried:

"I DON'T TAKE ORDERS FROM YOU!!!"

Since the rows of slot machines were closer to the truck, Bowsette could no doubt expect a repeat performance to strike her first. Though the 5' tall machine paled in comparison to the 14' wide chunk of concrete and polished granite hurdling towards her from the other side of the ground floor.

He knew it wasn't enough. Even if both projectiles landed, it'd probably just stagger his reluctant opponent. If he'd learned anything about this chick yet, it was that she was cartoonishly strong in a way he couldn't begin to match, even if they were in Night Springs.

As he was reaching for the counter, he'd spotted one of the Koopa's hammers embedded in the drinks shelves behind the bar counter; the one that had been thrown to splatter his brains against the booze behind him. A thought occurred to him as he watched his latest plan almost inevitably fail:

Perhaps he could fight cartoon strength with cartoon weapons.

Vessel, Ice Cream Country, Outsidermobile

The fox girl was Kaga's affiliate? Fancy how that worked out. What was Kaga up to these days? The Vessel nodded thanks and shuffled in the back of the "ice cream truck". Iced cream? Wouldn't that make it inedible...? Granted, the bugbeast wasn't much of an expert on intricacies of food, but it sounded strange all the same to it. They were apparently planning to go somewhere according to Amagi's plan, but that didn't seem to pan out either.

...so what was the plan? "whatnow", it snapped out the answer in Morse to the other people in the truck, examining the icecream.

Shigure, Beat of Rangetsu, Old Gotham Clocktower

There he was, running for the hills like a coward. Fine, then. There was some karma involved in cutting down an upstart like that too. "Two minutes is more than enough to kill you and your buddies. The more of you come, the merrier." Naturally, he gave chase after the crimelord on the ladder. A climactic fight on the rooftop had some merit of entertainment. An hour well-spent.

"I learned quite a bit," she said to Medusa. "I may have even learned how to stop all this fighting!"

Pink then put all of her energy into controlling the nearby mechanical animals that were hostile towards them. All she was trying to do was to get them to stop attacking, and hopefully this would prove a non-violent solution to their problem.

Clock Tower - Time's Up

Once the group reached the rooftop, a whirring sound can be heard nearby before his helicopter(equipped with linked rotary gun turret at its side) appeared within their view.

Just as the Joker promised, his helicopter arrives exactly 10 seconds before the Tower's inevitable destruction.

And just as the Joker promised, he's going to avenge the Clock King's eventual death.

Broadcast Station - The Joker

"Ooooooh, it's almost time!" Looking at his toy watch, the Joker activated one of the screens within the station. "Get the music ready, Jim. It's time for the finishing act!"

Making himself comfortable in the operator's chair while daintily picking up his cup of tea(as though mimicking sophisticated English manners), the Clown sits back and relax while his henchman prepares a mood-appropriate song for the occasion.

He isn't one to miss the climax and eventual fireworks, after all.

Clock Tower - Crescendo!

At first, nothing much happened. Then in the span of the next few seconds, many things happened in quick succession. For a moment, everything transpires in slow motion.

10...

The rotary gun turrets stirred and whirs to life, aiming squarely at the area where the Outsiders and Clock King are located.

9... 8...

Before the firing mechanism is activated at full force, delivering volleys upon volleys of bullets upon the group; threatening to shred through them with sheer firing power, friend and foe alike.

7... 6...

At the backseat, one Joker goon took a gander outside with his RPG and opened fire. The target? The same general area where everything is currently being shot down. The missile is now currently in-bound, seconds away before making contact.

5...

Meanwhile, the first set of explosion triggers yet again somewhere at the Clocktower's foundation, causing a chain reaction with the explosives in other parts of the structure. The base shakes uncontrollably and, in that same moment, everyone could feel the whole thing starting to fall down. It was only around then that a rope ladder from the helicopter was dropped, offering a single way out of the eventual destruction.

With the threat of the collapsing Tower, eventual explosions and the assault of the helicopter at hand, the Joker eagerly anticipates what his fellow criminal and Outsiders would do next; safely watching the whole thing from one of his helicopter mook's live-recordings via broadcast equipment salvaged from the station.

Junko - Gotham Streets next to Jewelry Store

As Junko was beginning to leave the store, she heard the guys over where the mecha was at screaming. Strangely, she hadn’t heard any gunfire, though there was some noise she couldn’t quite explain.

Once she got outside, she saw her boss, who looked pretty upset she decided to dilly-dally. Not that it made the smile on Junko’s face fade away, maybe she’d get punished for this.

What was interesting was in the fact he heard the Joker’s broadcast, though Junko herself didn’t remember seeing anything inside that would have made that noise when she was by the window. Then again, it wasn’t like she had the best angle, and all the commotion inside must have made things difficult to hear in there.

Whoops, guess I must’ve spent too long dawdling about, Junko replied. Oh yeah, there’s a guy in there we can bring back and chain to the assembly line. I just nabbed his shotgun and car keys, but it looks like you handled things pretty well on your own.

Oh yeah, that Joker guy,Junko continued. “He was on TV, and he pretty much looks like a clown in a suit.

Now, how much would she say about what she saw? Honestly, Joker sounded a lot more fun than whatever the robot had planned. Well, if Junko’s estimations were correct, the clown lord would probably be able to counteract whatever half-baked plan Starscream came up with, and if he did die from all that maybe he wasn’t worth going after in the first place.

He sounds like a big shot around these parts, not that he can take on someone tough like you. I betcha if we looked around hard enough we’ll find wherever he’s hiding all those explosives, and I’m pretty interested in seeing what that Joker gas does. A shame he was just ‘joking’ about all that. It would have been pretty neat to see just what sorts of faces Gio and whats-her-name would’ve made if they breathed it in.

It actually would have been hilarious assuming it didn’t happen too quick, but she didn’t want to fangirl too much in front of her boss.

Amagi - Icecream Van

"I am not sure that it would be of any use to attempt to go to the aircraft's aid at this point.... We are not exactly as fast as canons, and if it survives it wont need the aid." She thought for a little bit but then tilted her head, "But then again some one capable of maintaining anti-aircraft weaponry out here, might be able to help us locate competent engineers... This is an issue I will leave to the two of you, one of whom was just attacked and the other of which knows the over all picture better then I do", the fox digressed to both of them

Shirakami - Police Station

"Why is your first thought that were are murderous dictators?" The fox queried from inside her tank, honestly.... a little more then confused. "If we had been intent on doing that.... ummmm why would we not have harmed them already? We have a tank.... and some kind of glowing sword, the fact that they are running away.... well... it should show we have no intent to harm people"

She then sighed, before ducking back down she could tell things were starting to get heated between the pair of mechs outside, and to be honest she didn't want to be in the middle of it, he had no particular spot in this race.... other then a mutual goal of trying to bring order to the city.

"I question if you understand people though if you think they will flock to you just because you offer a better alternative.... Loyalty is a valued trait to many..... and one that can outweigh the promise for better conditions in the short term...."

Targ Trail (Lost Vessel, Others) ~ Dealing with the Load

The Lost Vessel nodded in response to Yue's warning, even if it was stating the obvious as she said herself. It might not had been overly concerned about what happened to itself should the staff's contents leak out, but it still didn't want the others getting exposed to it. If nothing else, it would make the mission considerably more complicated.

It spent the trip towards the wasteland watching the idyllic lands slowly transition to a barren wasteland. Could this be an effect of the Black Nightmare or another one of Luke's creations? Or was the land always like this? Given the direction they were heading, it had its suspicions.

If it wasn't staring out over the landscape, it carefully conducted its own inspection of the staff. Carefully, as to not damage their key or worse send the filth contained within splattering everywhere. All it had to go on for the Infection it knew was the blinding light that plagued their dreams. This Black Nightmare.... Just how similar were the two infections? If they were indeed as similar as it seemed, its efforts here would not only help put a stop to the Black Nightmare, but help put a stop to the Infection.

Before it could really mull over things further, their travels were interrupted by another group of natives, who seemed to be rather unhappy about the group of intruders.

The Lost Vessel would have been content to simply stay back as the more speech-capable members of the group handled negotiations. Alas, it was not to be, for once again Naga (Nama? It hadn't paid much heed to what she had been doing, leaving it wondering about the different name, sudden suit of armor, and apparent change in demeanor) decided to go for an aggressive move. At least it looked like one to the Lost Vessel, even if it was done out of a misguided desire to be helpful.

Its body slumped once again as it gently put the staff down and stood up.

N-E-E-D-S T-O G-O, it spelled out while pointing to Naga with its short silver nail. Indeed, this was the second time she had gotten in the way. If not dealt with, she would likely again prove to be a burden once they reached Luke's lair.

Then it drew its original nail and readied itself for a fight. On the bright side, perhaps this was the chance it was hoping for to practice with its new weapon.

Hill of Origin -> Lune's Shop (Ozma, Malia, Milliana) ~ Getting the Show On the Road

As she followed Malia around Akihabara, Ozma got the impression that this city hadn't been inhabited for very long. Perhaps it was to be expected, for there wasn't even a central government established if Arcueid was to be believed, but it seemed much of it was still possessed by nature. She found herself reminded of the ruined capital of Gillikin Country, although to be fair Akihabara was still better off.

As the tour continued, she further got the impression that Malia was simply showing her things she personally found beautiful, rather than things that might actually be important for a newcomer to know. With that assumption, she found it odd that one of the stops was a barren-looking stone building that wasn't very beautiful.

However, she still found herself looking that structure over. While it seemed uninhabited, it also seemed like somebody had been occupying this building before. If that was the case, then perhaps it would make for a good starting point. After all, it might save her a little bit of work.

She was still mulling over the possibility of claiming it when the tour ended at Lune's Shop, presumably where Malia worked. Given how her coworker was also seemingly very shy, she had to wonder how good of a boss this Lune was. Assuming Lune was their boss; the shop was named after them, in any event.

"That is my intention, yes," she replied to Malia, "Among other things. I will admit that I'm not cut out for such labor, though."

She offered Milliana a formal curtsy. "My name is Princess Ozma. I only recently arrived in the Frontiers, so for now my primary goal is to find a place to stay. If you could help me, it would be much appreciated."

She frowned thoughtfully. "Although, I might already have an idea. Among the various places Malia showed me was this dull stone building, with a lot of windows. Perhaps you could tell me more about that place?"

Yue - Targ Trail

With all the bumps and jarring impacts that the cart ride promised to deliver, Yue had decided to fire her staff instead, sitting side-saddle and floating along beside the others as she tried to decipher the runes she'd copied from the staff's containment bottle, occasionally checking on her compass and calling out directions to the Seeq driver.

Once they were challenged by another group of locals, however, Yue quickly dismounted and took up an easy stance, her staff casually planted against the ground, her hat tipped down slightly to shade her face. A magic duel was the last thing Yue wanted, and if they were lucky they would be able to talk their was out of this one, but if there was one thing she'd learned about magic combat it was this - the mage who got in first had a significant advantage.

Right now, that was the mage in blue with his readied fireball. Yue's counter - she began to silently pre-cast a barrier spell, and then as large a volley of sagitta magica as she could without a verbal incantation. She let the others speak up for now, focusing her attention on her spellcraft and -

With a spike of panic, she watched Nama call out a verbal command and raise her hands, visions of the impending retaliatory firestorm from the hilltop flashing through her mind. Jumping forward quickly, Yue rapped the tops of Nama's wrists with her staff and pushed her arms down before she could complete her cast, hopefully making the blizzard fizzle out before it could actually launch.

"Are you trying to start a fight?" She whispered fiercely, her eyes flicking up to the blue-clad mage again, her free hand gesturing at Lost vessel to keep his cool.

Nama - Targ Trail

"Whaaaa?" Nama said, stopping her spell when the short flat-chested purple-haired girl jumped up and started poking her arms and wrist with that staff of hers. "But Nama wants to protect her friends. All of you have skin and hair and it will hurt when you get fire on you, Nama needed to put out the fire before her friends were hurt."

She clasped her hands together and placed them just under her chin, leaning in towards Yue like a child about to beg their parent for more candy.

"Please don't let yourself get hurt trying to protect me! I am an adventurer, I won't let myself be stopped by foolish mages and their silly fire magic!" She leaned back and snapped her fingers, causing a metallic clang to echo. "But if the mean old wizard wants to hurt Nama, then Nama just needs to make sure she's not with her friends to keep them safe!"

She jumped up at once, clearing a great height in a single bound and staying afloat with the aid of her magic. High enough that she could look down at the blue mage, and that if he tried to throw a fireball her way, it had no risk of colliding the ground and hitting her friends.

"Nama thinks you should run away if you are not our enemy, little man!" she called out at the mage. "And stop being mean!"

Marx grinned as he managed to kill the Titan Henchman.

Marx made an hearty cackle, "Hahahaha! That was good to the neck, heheh! And his last words were funny. Hospital - Nightingale

"So long as it doesn't get in the way of my duty as a medical officer, I wouldn't mind showing my support in the Council." Granted, she has to take care to not be too involved in the local politics. That's the ruler's and leader's job while hers is to simply protect, treat and care for her patients.

"First, I'll inform the staff of our exchange and make the necessary arrangements. Afterwards, I'm going to pay a small visit to the new locale opened by the gate. It's a huge graveyard from what I can tell, which already doesn't bode well for anyone who happens to be on the other side." Perhaps an epidemic or conflict had claimed so many lives there, which was why the graveyard was chosen as the starting point for the portal? Nevertheless, it need not be said that she planned to provide what little assistance she can for the inhabitants.

Entry 003 Part 19 - (Lune & companions - Targ Trail)

The caravan group ran into a group of fellow adventurers. And things seemed to get rocky between the two groups as Siluca pointed her wand at the travelers and accused them of being Luke the Constructor's followers. My followers and I kept silent for now, hoping that negotiations won't get worse.

Unfortunately, they did. Nama attempted to attack the black mage with some ice magic, but Yue stopped her before things got too heated. However, Nama ran away from the group because she wants to keep them safe.

It was time for Gunther to initiate “Operation Peacekeeper” once again. He glanced at Convoy and they pulled out their trusty ranch-flavored tortilla chip bags. They walked over to the travellers with no malice in their hearts.

Gunther said, “Here, we got you something nice. Please accept this...”

“Are you kidding me?”, I asked my companions.

Malia & Milliana - Lune's Shop

“It is n—nice to meet you, Princess Ozma,” replies Milliana. “I am Milliana, devout bishop of Mother Mila. You, um, can stay in that empty building y-you just mentioned. It used to be Team Rocket's base.

Seeing as Malia knew more about that abandoned building than Milliana, Milliana passes the torch over to Malia. “Malia, you w-went there once. P-please explain as you know more than I do.”

Malia exposits, “Team Rocket was a group of enforcers who t-tried their best to protect the city. From what I h-heard from, um, Majima, Team Rocket bullied others in o-order to get their way. Team Rocket gave up because Majima didn't stand for this and pushed back. I, uh, don't know where he went.”

“He w-went to Gotham, Malia,” grimaces Milliana. Memories of Gotham welled up in her mind. She would rather forget about Marx & the carnage Shigure and the crab-kaiju girl caused. “I would not recommend t-that place. It is, um, too dangerous for us civilians to e—enter.”

Clock King - Crumbling Old Gotham Tower

As expected, they continued to pursue the Clock King up the roof even though the odds are completely against them. They even had some “witty” lines that he'll forget in probably about 20 seconds or so. Banter against these Outsiders is always a time-waster, you know.

And then the helicopter begins firing on the Outsiders and him as well. He quickly tried to shield against the bullets with his sword, but some of them manage to pass and penetrate his body. Hmph. The Clock King still needs to work on his timing a bit.

Still, the Clock King makes a beeline for the helicopter ladder even as the building starts falling apart around them.

Siluca - Targ Trail

Naga, or Nama as she now referred to herself, tried to cast some sort of spell before Yue then interrupted her. Seeing as they still did not quite know where the Black Mage’s alignment lied, making the first move seemed foolhardy. Luckily judging by the amnesiac Naga’s words when she flew into the air, she was willing to hold her spellcasting for just a moment.

Then, she saw two of the people who came with Lune try to walk up towards the mage on the hill.

“What are you two doing?” Siluca practically yelled out.

Until the final fantasy mage showed otherwise, this was far from a peaceful confrontation. Even without the support of everyone here Siluca had some confidence she could take on the mage by herself, but even though those two were not her own people, she hardly wanted to see them get set ablaze simply because they were careless enough to walk up to a potentially hostile adversary without being on guard.

Entry 003 Part 19.5 (Lune & Companions - Targ Trail)

Even Siluca agreed with my assessment as she asked what the hell these two idiots were doing. I replied, “They were doing something stupid. Try not to pay attention to them, okay?”

Lady (Evil Lair Approach)-Put the foot down

Next to Lune, Lady stepped up, hand near her pistol in case this nutjob on the hill started to attack.

"But Lune, isn't the one with the bag of chips your employee? If he's doing something stupid and putting himself at risk, it's your job as his boss to slap him upside the head and tell him to stop being an idiot. Not literally slap him, mind, but scold him. I can show you how later if you want."

Velvet (Outside Clock Tower)-A better view

Velvet scoffed at her servant's words.

"I am NOT a kitty! I'm allergic to-"

More explosions went off, cutting her off. She noticed a strange metal thing floating above the building.

"Alright. I want a closer look. We're going up."

She turned around, summoned her demonic arm, and then leaped, smashing her claw hard into the building to catch herself. Then she braced herself, and leaped again, reaching the roof of the tower, which she pulled herself onto. It wasn't a perfect viewing spot, they were still lower then the building and couldn't see much more then some man in a weird outfit attempting to leap onto a ladder that was hanging out of the thing. She was pretty sure that wasn't the man. The building, however, was the tallest outside of the clock tower, and if one was to decide, in a bid to survive an exploding building, to leap to another roof, it was the most likely target, a fact that had not escaped Velvet.

Entry 3 Part 19.5 - (Lune & Companions – Targ Trail)

“You have a point there,” I sighed to Lady. “I just don't want to be too harsh to Gunther, though. He's trying his best to help us out.”

“You know, I can still hear you, right,” mumbles an eavesdropping Darcsen.

Wulfrik, Casino

-The creature fights like a madman, but with only strength given to him by whatever foul potion he imbibed. Wulfrik absorbs the shock against the wall, leaping back to the floor, ready to stab his sword through the mutant's neck...-

-... Only to find that his presence is no longer necessary. The blob hides sharp claws under its ridiculous appearance, and has ripped a gasping wound in the creature's neck. Staring in silence at the thrashing thing, only Wulfrik's head turns slowly to turn his ardent glare on the blob. Twin sentiments do battle in him, righteous fury at being denied a kill that was clearly marked as his, and the fear of blasphemy against the Dark Gods by killing something in whose soul they have no interest.-

-The raven girl is having more success, facing a mutant given entirely to the Serpent. Here is a welcome distraction from his inner conflict.-

Keep slashing at him, girl, his pain feeds Slaanesh! Once he can no longer stand, rip out his throat and plunge your blade into his heart!

O'Kais, Gotham

Then? Then we will continue to grow, rescuing other peoples from the tyranny and oppression of their fellows or the gue'la, all races working together in harmony, until we can send a signal to the nearest sept and obtain their aid to finally bring this world to the same level as any in the Tau Empire.

-The beastwoman raises an interesting point, demonstrating an intelligence rarely found among her kind. Perhaps hornless beastmen possess increased intellect instead of the brute strength that characterizes most of their species?-

You are correct that loyalty is to be valued. But it all too often becomes fanatism, with the extremist elements preferring to drag down the populace, and even the entire planet with them, in death than conceded in the slightest. Billions of gue'la who could have joined the Tau'va murdered by the hand of their own masters.

Even in the face of the Tyranid swarm there were those who refused to cooperate even when their own superiors had ordered them to do. Such madness does not advance the Greater Good.

Mokou, Forest

-So even after being turned into a suit of armor, Naga is still as undiplomatic as ever. Mokou sees her preparing to fire a spell at the sentinel and gets ready to fly in front of her.-

Marx – Koopa Kasino – Ground Floor

Marx was continuing to ramble...until he noticed the Child of Whatever Gods looking angry at him.

"What's wrong, not-a-Sigmarite, hahah!", Marx tried to tease Wulfrik.

You might know everything I'm going to do...but that's not going to help you, since I KNOW EVERYTHING YOU'RE GOING TO DO! STRANGE, ISN'T IT?

Shamrock, Hill

One moment you're walking down a pathway on a bright, sunny day; Surrounded by the sights and sounds of other fellow students moving about. Heading to and from classes, or whatever other activities they were. And then the next, you're standing on a grassy hill facing a run-down city you'd never seen before.

That was the situation Shamrock found himself in, pressed tightly against the back of his Moto Lloyd as he stared at the foreign scene with shock and fear. Well, in a way. Through the eyes of the bright pink drone, the Polynian was able to watch and get a sense of what was going on even with his face buried in its back. He wasn't picking up any familiar signals, either. The drone's connection to the academy's wifi disappearing the moment they had appeared in this new place.

He moved himself off of the robot enough to look down as he lifted his school bag up, fumbling around inside of it looking for his phone. He just had to call somebody for help, and he'd be fine. Shamrock was so absorbed in his fear and plan, that he didn't even notice the others on the hill.

Bowsette, Casino

Having demonstrated her superiority by swatting aside the slot machine, Bowsette ignored the man's further shrieking and whining as she tossed more unconscious people into the growing pile on the casino floor. She watched the timer slowly ticking down, confident in her ability to get the truck out in time. She'd deal with it, then with the idiots ruining her new base, and then go back upstairs and make Cagliostro find something for her to do to relax there.

And that was the point that a 300 pound slot machine slammed into her from behind with a crack, slamming her knees into the lip of the van's back doors and bouncing her body into floor at the same time. Pain shot through her back and head, and through her chest, as this happened. The Queen of the Koopa wrapped an arm around her chest and head as they throbbed in pain, and her temper snapped.

There was a roar, and just as the massive projectile of masonry collided with her, a burst of dark purple light flashed into existence and swirled around for a moment before shrinking inwards to a point, and exploding outwards and out of existence. Leaving behind a very angry, and now very very big, Bowsette.

Where before the woman had been imposing in height and stature, now she was gigantic, the tips of her horns scrapping grooves into the casino ceiling as she stood straight and turned. Her now red eyes burned with anger as she turned them towards Scratch, her sharp gaze digging into him as her features twisted up into a beastly, almost inhuman look; Smoke billowing from her mouth. The shell that had sat on the small of her back was now larger, extending up to near her shoulders, its spikes looking even sharper and more wicked. Her hair was even wilder now, cascading down her back as it turned from blonde to fiery red. And the final significant change one could see at first glance, the woman's slender, well manicured hands were now twisted into massive, scaley hands tipped with sharp, black claws. The scales up her forearms and to her shoulders before fading out. Her feet had gone through a similar change, the scales disappearing under her dress.

Giga-Bowsette growled, her usually husky voice now unnaturally deep and booming, as she looked at the man who wouldn't give up. "I'll deal with you in a moment."

With a shriek of rending metal, the reptilian giant plunged her claws through the roof of the van like it was paper, and began easily dragging the heavy vehicle across the floor and towards the entrance. Outside, Giga-Bowsette's body tensed and bulged with muscle as she grabbed the van and flung it out and into the street a good distance from the building. The floor shuddered and shook with each step as she entered the casino once more, looking about for Scratch. "You're going to wish you did take orders from me, runt."

Shigure, Best 10 Seconds Of His Stay Here, Old Gotham Clocktower

It's amazing how much can happen in ten seconds. Needing only a glance to assess the situation, it was time to do the only thing left. "Morgrim!" He called out, grinning like a maniac, charging towards the awakening gun without a care in the world. 'twas time to let loose. Naturally, letting her back into the physical form would be too dangerous given the tower's imminent collapse, and so the seal that held Shigure back at his own request could only be lifted partially.

With his aura growing exponentially, the ex-Exorcist set off in a dazzling sprint, leaving cracks in the roof floor, turning into a semi-transparent blur that sped towards the helicopter. The gun still was too much to handle, but now he could at the very least run fast enough to avoid being turned into cheese. Getting to the helicopter itself was proving to be more difficult - at least until a clown inside the machine was so gracious to give him a stepping stone. In a blatant show of violations for physics and safety, Shigure leapt forward, bouncing off the fired rocket - and sending it hopefully away from exploding at Destoroyah's feet - and towards the helicopter.

"Down you go!" The Storm Howled, the blade coming not down as might have been anticipated, but horizontally, at the thin gap between the body of the helicopter and the rotating blades keeping it in the air. Shigure was nothing if not insightful in battle, even once the high of a good challenge began overtaking him. Cutting through the machine the normal way would likely suffice as well, but it wasn't fun if you didn't get to show off now and then.

And if his theory was correct, the damn thing was a deathtrap once you cut off its wings.
