Hazbin Hotel pilot & Helluva Boss

Those amorphous shadows when he appears makes it seem like he throws his power around more than Stolas and it's possible he may look down on his son for not doing the same. Coupled with the gif of Little Stolas, the first episode of Season 2 might be a flashback showing Stolas's upbringing culminating in his first meeting with Blitzo. Either that or Paimon's coming to read his son the riot act after what happened at Ozzie's.

Which would make sense as Paimon is the most obedient to Lucifer out of all the kings of Hell. Paimon could be a strict traditionalist in contrast with Stolas's lax attitude towards his royal status.

Stolas' mom is Gemory, the only other goetic demon in the original Ars Goetia who rides a camel aside from Paimon and incidentally is also one of the few if not the only goetic demon who could be interpreted as a woman.

Like Rias Gremory from High School Dx D, for example.

Ooooooh nelly, Paimon's looking more intimidating than Stolas ever did in "Truth Seekers".

I wonder if Octavia has any opinions on her grandpa. Or if he's even alive, because for all we know, the shots of Paimon could all be from flashbacks and in the show's present, he's either old and wrinkly or deceased and wrinkly.

Charlie is about 200 years old, right? (Unless they change that from the pilot, but I don't really see why they'd do that) And she's considered a young woman. Then again, maybe she's a special case as Lucifer's daughter.

I'd expect most lowborn hellborn like imps and hellhounds to die of old age, but the royalty, especially the really big names that probably fell alongside Lucifer, are most likely biologically immortal.

Sadly it's not surprising,however,I would urge caution that it's not coming directly from the artist themselves but from someone reporting screenshots of what they've said

How many of these accusations have we gotten?

I remember there were a few early on, like before the HB pilot came out, then it got quiet, and now there's this one.

In any case, good grief, here's hoping someone verifies or debunks these claims. Stuff like this really bums me out.

In addition to F0rtuneL0wT1er's tweet about character designer Erin Frost's account, there's this thread by chealastuff from other former Spindelhorse employees.

This includes voice actor Joe Gran, background artist Nicholas Cole Jordan, and concept artist Cas Renee Herrera.

Another account from Al Pullen, who was a character animator on the Hazbin Hotel pilot and Helluva Boss. Darlinkaz made a TwitLonger about their experience being a Promoted Fanboy working on Helluva Boss, which turned into a unfavorable experience with Viv.

Frankly I’m not surprised. This shit is so common that I expect it. I’ve come to expect things I enjoy being made under abusive conditions by terrible people.

I found this tweet by Sam Haft◊ that I think may be worth considering.

Honestly, all these allegations seem to contradict what we know about Viv. She doesn't seem like an evil person on any of the livestreams, for instance. I guess in the end the only people who know for sure what's going on is the Spindlehorse crew, so maybe the best course of action would be to just leave it until we get better evidence for or against the allegations.

Careful about judging someone based on their public persona, even the people who are not assholes carefully choose what of their real personality, if anything, they want to show to their fans.

Either way, the accusations all seem to come from newbies who haven't worked in animation before and don't know what to expect. None of the professionals with prior animation experience seem to have any problems with working for Viv.

Plus, it's a little suspicious that these accusations came when Viv was in the middle of a breakdown and was taking a break from social media, and thus she's not in the mood to defend herself.

Some of of the other animator and voice actors that have worked with Viv have chimed in, many of them disagree with the accusations and defend her.

God, Viz's use of bowties makes her characters look so much hotter.
