There's a live-action movie coming.
Casting for the live action movie has been hotly debated. The fandom wishes to have proper Ainu representation in the casting choices, but carries little hope that the production will follow through.
It is how it is.Season 4 started.
And Vasily gets into a charade game with Sugimoto to make the latter understand why he's hunting for Ogata.
Yep, still as zany as ever.
You can't kill art.So I just found out that Noda released stats online (after caving it to fan pressure) on the male cast.
Especially on who's got the biggest p**is.
2nd episode (4th season) up.
Ushiyama drugged up is funny and cool.
The ex-warden is pretty lucky for an unlucky bloke.
Also funny that he got a scene where a literal spotlight was placed over him.
Judging by the poster Season 4 is going to adapt the battle between Usami and Jack the Ripper
Why does Jack the Ripper have to appear in everything
I mean, I've never seen a more ridiculous battle against a Serial Killer than the one between Usami and Jack the Ripper
I'm guessing that because JTR is way too infamous. No one has gotten a solid idea on who he is, outside of theories.
Huh, I feel like I’ve shifted into a parallel universe. I swear I’ve been posting about season 4 here.
Anyway, we’re five episodes in. I really liked Koito’s backstory in episode 4, perfect mashup of silliness and badassery.
Then episode 5 pivots to discussing Ainu folktales, which predictably involves a lot of dicks. But we also then get some surprising footage of Wilk and his wife, namely Asirpa’s mom.
Heard about a scene involving a tricycle.
It’s a beautiful chase sequence that continues after the tricycle explodes into pieces.
Man, that fourth episode has some mood whiplash here and there.
Oh boy, the whiplash does not stop there.
Episode 6 of season 4 is also one hell of a ride. We have Ariko who’s stuck between the Hijikata and Tsurumi factions, neither of whom trusts him.
Chicapaci finally breaks away from Tanigaki to form a real family with Enonoke and her grandpa. And in classic Golden Kamuy fashion their heartfelt farewells to each other culminates in a boner joke. And it still hit me in the feels.
Koito realizes a terrible truth: his kidnapping was staged by Tsurumi. In fact, it was Tsurumi’s MO to engineer the kind of scenarios that would make his men loyal to him. And it worked, because despite this revelation, Koito is ecstatic about dancing on Tsurumi’s palm. And Tsukishima is content with being used.
This of course sets up that Asirpa is not safe with either Hijikata and Tsurumi. Shiraishi outright tells Sugimoto that Asirpa is not someone to merely be protected. That if he does consider Asirpa as his partner, he would allow Asirpa to lead the revolution of her people.
Pretty hype.
Tsurumi mastered the art of making devoted simps.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. There is a reason Tsurumi's men are called the Tsurumi harem
Tsurumi truly is ahead of his time. He would have made bank on Twitch.
Indeed he is.
I can't help, but rock to the OP sequence:
GK is restarting the season again in Japan this year.
I don’t even remember where the anime last left off. Good thing we have this thread haha.

Golden Kamuy officially ended yesterday with chapter 314 being released in Japan. What a ride it's been these 8 years.
It is how it is.
