Which is funny, because she and Bud just need a third stooge.
Hm, "Mindful Eye" sounds quite similar to "Heartful Punch." Maybe she was a big fan when she started, which might explain how self-conscious she is over her non-combat powers.
New Comic: http://www.sleeplessdomain.com/comic/chapter-11-page-11
"Nonstop action over in the Undine-Vedika camp"
So I noticed that Bud isn't smiling in the chapter image, and I sort of idly wonder if there's any significance to that.
After this chapter there will be an interstitial showing that Bud was unable to hit Cassidy even once with her Frickin' Laser Beams
The contrast between the scenes is pretty funny.
I wonder how Vedika uses her powers in the hospital.

Probably great for finding out what people who are unconscious or who can't communicate need, for one thing.
So in the panel where Thrash and Punch are charging towards each other, the scale looks a little off - like that's a tiny track. Strangely, though, it works. It reminds me of the way hero units are huge in RTS games.
Random Thought: What if Vedika has seen the Purple One before?
She's a telepath who works in a hospital that tends to victims of monster attacks. It's now a stretch to believe she might have seen ol' Goop's McGee I'm someone's nightmares or memories. What if we're being set up for Undine and HP to get a lead they former have before?
...I accidentally stopped following the thread...
What did I miss? Where we at right now?
Harley and HP are engaging in Good Old Fisticuffs while Undine and Vedika play mind games.
Where were you when you lost track?
Your last post in this thread was on the previous page, after this update was linked. If that's the last update you saw, you missed four pages.
I like this comic a lot. Next to Devil's Candy and Dumbing of Age it's probably my favourite webcomic right now.
Because of the Alt Text, I'm now imagining an alternate timeline where Tessa accidentally gets the wrong digit in the phone number and ends up calling Goops somehow

Tessa! ^^
She's flashing back to this page, so I suppose she's calling to ask about her teaming up with HP.
Countdown to Tessa's turn to villainy has begun.
Is that what it is? Something dark is brewing with her, but I don't know if it's a heel turn, necessarily.
I doubt that was meant seriously.
Personally I think Tessa is just having trouble with the idea that Undine really is moving on, even though she's doing what Tessa asked of her and finding folks to team up with.
Yeah. Knowing a friend should do that and actually seeing them do it are different things, huh?
There's probably an element of feeling replaced, as well. The five Alchemicals were friends for a long time, since way before they were mahous, and I think it's reasonable for Tessa to feel a bit lost and betrayed to see Undine apparently teaming up with someone new days afterwards - and now she has a club that she's going to as well? And none of them were people that Undine knew before, so there might be an aspect of "are you forgetting about them so soon?" as well.

Not to mention the jealousy aspect. Tessa lost her powers to save Undine, and now Undine is becoming stronger and teaming up with one of the most popular magical girls of all. Meanwhile Tessa has to hear about this thirdhand from the sidelines, apparently not even important enough for Undine to call anymore.
She has Knucks but does not nyuk.
