It was alright. The page is up and running, by the way.
I thought the animation was pretty janky but I think the story seems fairly solid. Not a big fan of the voice of the catboy though lol

Iroha reminds me of Ayukawa Madoka from Kimagure Orange Road. Reputation as a delinquent (Iroha has a rep of being 'easy' and Ayukawa as being violent) that masks a vulnerable, lonely heart.
I guess no one is watching this then
Im about to start watching both episodes now.
This, somehow, has the feeling of amateur hour to it.
The voices don't sound like standard anime fare and the animation is minimal and downright bad at some points. The direction feels simple too. Yet it also feels like it has some of the passion of such amateur productions too. Like the whole story is pretty hohum and the characters caricatures, yet still it manages to convey them being their own people somehow. You get a grasp of who they are pretty fast and they manage to feel somewhat real.
So it's far from a master piece and I'm not yet convinced that it's even good, but some basic quality of spirit at least means it has my attention and I'll give it an episode or two just out of curiosity.
after episode 3, I'm loving it.
now up to ep 5.
Anyoen still watching?
I'd be surprised if people were. Things went so off model this week that it went from "Barely excusable because it feels like someone's really trying on a shoestring budget" to "Yeah, they're either colossally behind or out of money. Likely both. This is just sad." territory.
It's a shame since, as I said the last time, there's basic competency to the writing and it feels like they actually want to say something with this. It's just that the production of the show can't clear the basic hurdles it needs to in order to function.

I'm liking it even if it's clear there's not that much resources put into it given how it looks like an early 2000s anime most of the time. Glad there will be a second season even if I'm not caring about newest relationship trouble "not blood connected" dumb brother.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I've got a feeling that since the first series adapted the first six volumes (2 chapters per episode), the second season might as well cover the final six volumes.
And it looks like HIDIVE is going to do stream Sentai Filmworks's dub on October 30.
