Only young enough to not hurt with the weather.
Who watches the watchmen?Only in a Peggy Sue kind of way, but I think we all feel that way sometimes. Of course, I'd need to know it was coming so I could look up the right set of winning lottery numbers and memorize them first.
That’s the epitome of privilege right there, not considering armed nazis a threat to your life. - SilaswAll the goddamned time. I miss feeling like I could do and be anything, and had all the time in the world to accomplish my goals.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Me Too.

I wish that when I was in my early twenties and teens I didn't squander so much time and opportunities and every since I graduated high school I've wished that I could go back a bit when everything seemed straightforward. I thought I had the whole world figured out like most kids but I was so gravely mistaken even though. just being a minor and a student meant that my expectations, goals, courses of action, consequences, and parameters for success were much more defined and clear.
with the exception of a few life-changing events though, I don't think theres anything i would do differently. It all added up to who I am now, for better or worse. I was interested and knowledgeable of politics and currents events at a young age, had many less than typical interests for my age and as a result often felt more comfortable socializing with older kids and adults than kids my own age because of my maturity, reinforced by said adults constantly voicing their surprise and respect at how articulate and mature I was. All this has served as a strength most of the time for me, But I wonder if by missing some of the more obvious follies of childhood I failed to truly absorb and improve from their lesson. I had a "quarter life crisis" a few years back over this actually. realized how many dumb mistakes I'd been making and attributed it to this.
I guess you could say I'd go back to my earrly twenties to make better decisions, and I'd go back to my teens to be stupid and reckless.

The only reason I'd want to be younger is because I end up suffering joint pain in the future.

If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.By one side, yeah, by one side no.
I love the life I have (besides the fact that my body is not working like before and that I have a lot of issues that got me worried and tired), but also I would like to be younger to enjoy life a little bit more.
I know that I am (probably) in the middle of my lifetime, I see my dad getting into cancer and alzheimer and he duplicates my age... so, sometime I know that is hard to think that I am worried about my future
Actually I'd like to be young with today's tech. Streaming services either didn't exist or weren't widespread in the '90s, so my family had to fiddle with a VCR so it would record episodes of Pokémon while I was at school. Things got easier with a DVR, but I would still have to wait until I got home (and it could only record up to two shows at once). Now with streaming, as long as the show's available, I can just start and play anytime.

You may heard it or even said it yourself but do you sometimes wish that you were younger and more vibrant than you are right now? I know I am not close to middle age but sometimes I get the feeling that I wish that I was younger and more durable.
