VRChat S1: Digital Darkness

An AU if VRChat existed in a world similar to Sword Art Online. In the near future, the kind of virtual reality we only dreamed of in fiction now exists and has gripped the entire worldwide populace, leading into a renaissance of technological advancement.

One of the most popular applications for the VR is VRChat, a program where players can interact with other players in user-created maps and character models. The program mysteriously showed up out of nowhere but it's used for nearly everything that can be done with programming, being backed by the public and entire governments who use it.

We will be roleplaying as players of VRChat. In this world we can do anything, travel anywhere, play a variety of modes with and against each other. However, something dark lurks underneath VRChat and it's up to us to stop it.

This is my first forum/online roleplay ever, so please forgive if the forum is sloppy or not well defined, I hope you can give me tips if I can post a discussion about it. You don't have to play VRChat or have knowledge of every created map or model each player has made, this is a different VRChat if it was fused with SAO and a bit of GMod. No Godmodding, just to remind the obvious.

This is a story has a narrative, so I recommend a post has at least 5-6 paragraphs at minimum. I hope I can make this story into a trilogy of forums if people are still interested. I have a life of my own also, so don't expect me to post every hour, I still go to school by the time I write this.

• Personality: He is rather anti-social. He rather goes off and does his own thing and has a hard time working with other people and has the tendency to mute others or come up with crazy ideas and forces other players to participate. He also could get frustrated very easily and os quick to come up a complex solution to a mundane problem.
• VRChat Hobbies: Playing on the shooter maps; roleplaying with other players; taking his rage out on objects; reading doujinshis/watch hentai; fighting in war maps; chilling in the cafe; trolling other players

Can someone tell me how to edit the forum? I see there are checkmarks at the side of each page link, which I presume is for marking if the roleplay signups are done. How do I do that?

Hey this idea sounds interesting. I would like to get into it, but since I hit a few dead rp's before I thought before I put effort into building a char I'd check to see if there's a rp to join.
