It'll probably take a couple entries before getting there. I expect the first one to go through the Train arc at the farthest.
Okay wow, I just realized.
Murata is a goddamn survivor, he made it all the way to the final battle!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Relavent.
Don’t let being a mob character keep you from achieving your happy ending
Great, now we can wait for the next soul sucking period of Asian history
In many ways the worst one.
Though it's an immense rarity for a manga to actually cover that era.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It's their equivalent of stuff like Trail of Tears and the Manifest Destiny: ugly, heavy, and making yourself a target to the hatred of some pretty horrible people.
I can hardly blame any writer for not wanting to go there.
Plus, as I understand it, Japan as a culture has difficulty acknowledging any of their own historical wrongdoing to begin with.
And any other culture doesn't?
Can't think of one.does Germany count?
Secret SignatureGranted, but even with that taken into account Japan seems to have a reputation for it.
Recently caused an international incident with My Hero Academia, no less.

Sorry dude, I didn't mean to get smart with you, but I dont know of any culture in history going "we really were kinda terrible back then, huh".
Can't think of one.Honestly people just don't like the air their dirty laundry, especially when that dirty laundry is human experimentation (but you can sure as heck bet they'll mention how they felt when they got hurt). It's the inherent selfishness of war. Germany is probably one of the few who'll admit it.
That said the story is over. Unless it's a spin off of the characters pasts or the highschool au I want this to just end.

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysI'd like a few more gaiden-type stories like we got with Giyuu handled by different artists. The high school thing sounds interesting too, but I think the difference in tone would cause whiplash so bad necks would snap.
Can't think of one.Well Assassination Classroom also got a fantasy spin-off.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieIt is fair to point out that this is largely an issue with the Japanese government being to this day unwilling to simply issuing an apology for the human experiment done in WWII, among other things.
Of course, plenty of countries that have issued apologies still keep doing bullshit to the victims (such as the US and Native Americans), which makes them hardly much better.
At the very least the human atrocities committed to the Native Americans are in our school text books.
While they do not teach the shit Imperial Japan pulled at all in their schools. It's like if Germany actively denied or ignored the atrocities of Nazi Germany.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."From what i learned, there still are conservative groups in Japan that have enough influence to strong-arm anyone who dare to issue an apology or said anything about Imperial Japan crimes. The Imperial family also commit a lot of crimes but was cover by the US during the cold war. But one of the major factor probably Korea and China. If Japan said sorry or admit anything, China and Korea govt will use that as an excuse to bolster their own nationalism ( redirect their people attention away from internal issues) while those conservative groups will use those as excuse to increase their influence. I don't said what japan doing the right thing but they're now stuck between a rock and a hard places and not admit anything prove to be the better option.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieJapan has actually made several apologies and reparations over the years, alongside airing a documentary about several of the war crimes on the NHK. So there's that. And it's not as though China is any different when it comes to denying past crimes.
There's a war memorial with the names of known criminals though, and they still have not scrubbed their names out.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.Well if someone even dare to touch those a lot of people gonna riot. A lot of current politicians in Japan have connection dated back to WW 2. If the US already have issue about remove Civil War statue from over a hundred years ago i doubt Japan gonna be easy to do something like that with less than 100 years time. Also the Prince back then was also one of those war criminal.

E.T technically is a Isekai movieIn other news, the Demon Slayer archive availability on the Shonen Jump app has been raised to chapter 115 (Sanemi and Genya's flashback). Meaning only chapters 116-138 remain unavailable.
But at least under Abe everytime it's been done a member of his cabinet or his family has made a high profile, well publicises visit to Yasakuni Shrine. It makes the sincerity of those apologies questionable at best.
@sgamer82
It was completely unintentional in My Hero's case. The guy was just trying to make a reference to wood.
I'm sure if the new game gets to the Muzan fight, it will be much more palatable in game form, especially since CyberConnect2 is making the game. If the story mode is like their Naruto Storm games or Asura's Wrath, it will at least be a major spectacle.
