There's probably one medium most (male) viewers are having in mind with regards to thinking lesbians have greater visibility than gay men.
Cartoons? Cause I meant cartoons. I mean, Avatar, She-Ra, Steven Universe, Mysticons, Adventure Time, OK KO...Usually main/only gay couple on the show is lesbian. All I can think for dudes is Gravity Falls with pair of comic relief cops and Loud House with somebody's dads. Dragon Prince started with a gay elf, but I'm pretty sure if you ask anyone about Dragon's LGBT characters they will point to the queens of Duren.
What is it with Dreamworks and D&D? First Voltron completely derailed itself for a non sequitor of a tabletop game episode and now this.
Dungeons and dragons is highly contagious
New theme music also a boxIt’s more redundant here, although nowhere near as obnoxious. Aren’t we already dealing with a fantasy world with swords and the like?
I guess the villain of the campaign will be the closest they get to showing Skeletor proper.
Huh, I may have just accidentally talked myself into it. It’s nowhere near as obnoxious so I’m in.
Are they actually playing Dn D, or are they just using minis to simulate they're battle 'plans' for storming the castle?
When you're reminded that we're probably never getting any He-Man cameos because of weird convoluted legal reasons...
EDIT:
I can attest to that. A friend of mine talked a great deal about DnD earlier in the week and now I really want to be either a Dragonborn Monk or Rogue (or Mage).

I’m still thinking Mattel, even after getting the licenses back, isn’t in any hurry to resolve said legal issues so She-Ra can be swept under the proverbial rug while MOTU gets a metric ton of movie tie in toys.
Never found the appeal of Dn D as a game system (namely tabletop role playing). I know it’s what you had to do in the days before CD-ROM’s, but it all seems so...convoluted and boring.

OK KO does have Lord Boxman and Professor Venomous as well as Nick Army and Joff, and She-Ra has Bow crushing on Seahawk.
Anyway I do think pitting wlw and mlm against each other when it comes to visibility is kind of missing the point, since both groups are underrepresented in general.
A bit on Entraptra's age. She's "old enough to do taxes," except for the fact that she'd never do taxes.
I've seen a lot of different assumptions about ages. My guess is that Adora is at least eighteen, since she was made a Force Captain, but by art style I'd say she could be as young as sixteen (though I doubt that). I've also seen some people suggest she's mid-twenties.
The general consensus seems to be that all the named characters are about the same age, with the obvious exceptions of Frosta and the adults. So I guess that would mean they're all at least old enough to do taxes.
I'd accept Entrapta being old enough to do taxes, but I would not accept her knowing on more than a cursory level what taxes actually are.
Is there even such a thing as an economy there?
I would have guessed they are all teens, actually.
Optimism is a duty.I mean, they're royalty. People pay them taxes. Not the other way round.
I have a feeling that they're not quite willing to go there with the princess thing.
Optimism is a duty.In the Horde, taxes are probably called 'tribute'.
Well it's more of a bribe
New theme music also a box11x My guess is that they're staging an invasion like they did previously with Bow's figures, but the show is deliberately making it look like a D&D campaign.
One last week of waiting! Let's build up the hype with Catra Music Video.
As a lyric "Rather be the hunter than the prey" sums Catra up a little too well.
That's a great AMV, it's almost unnerving how well that song fits Catra. That's definitely going in my favorites
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnThat Wondercon clip in full.
Something tells me that Catra isn't doing as well as she acts like she is.
I'm not watching, I'll wait for the actual episode.
- 3 minutes and 52 seconds later*
Entrapta is just too cute!..Darn it.
Catra is the Patron Saint of Bravado and False Confidence. She fronts more than a Baroque cathedral.
According to the annual GLAAD reports, they don’t. It’s the other way around in most media
