No argument from me there. If only Harare were to seize his assets though... Though they're kept busy with COVID-19 and corruption.

It's probably not going to play out that way, though.
Things are likely going to get nasty. Probably by design: Mugabe was exactly the kind of man who would deliberately consider starting an inter-tribal vs family vs others squabble over his stuff after his death.
Frankly, I'd love it to be blanket seized by the state and then doled out/ sold off by need vs keeping anything with merit in museums. If only as a fat middle finger hoisted up against his memory.
But, that family combined with the conflicting verbal promises he very likely made to clan and tribe... <shudders>
