For those curious, here are the Sign-Ups and the Discussion Thread.

Planeptune, Gacha

You come to reality either falling, standing, lying down, or what have you on in the inside of two circular structures, one on the floor, and one on the ceiling, an emission of energy surrounding you before dissipating. The room itself was light grey, almost silver. Monitors and cameras were thought the room, each of them fixated on either the structure or the one door that's called an exit, with what seemed to be a pad on the side of it. There were also few chairs in the room, about 15 or so, as well as desks. Various tools lined the walls, as well as what seemed to be half-finished contraptions.

N-Sha- Planeptune, Gacha

When the slipping sensation ceased, A small girl with purple hair and a sweater, as well as pads on her knees and elbows, was just above the platform. Being experienced with the sensation of falling, she quickly righted herself, landing on her feet.

"And that's how you make an entrance! Now... Where is everyone?"

The girl looked around the room, but did not see anyone.

Fran, ANGERY
This was, surprisingly enough, a situation that Fran was well acquainted to at this point. People, monsters, gods, godmonsters and the like had a strange tendency to make her teleport long distances across the world, usually with the obvious goal of killing her. It's not like it didn't make sense to Fran, she was kind of well-known like that. The room around her seemed far smaller than the usual place that she'd attempt to kill people in, but perhaps someone didn't have anywhere more elaborate or fancy to perform the act in. After all, not everyone gets paid for this kind of stuff. Nevertheless, Fran looked around the room with a suspicious, angry eye, but the only person here was in the middle of announcing her displeasure on the apparent vacancy of everyone else. While similarly smaller, far less grand and even further less biomechanical monstrocity-ish than her usual fare, Fran understood entirely what to do.

She immediately ran up to N-Sha and tried to deck her in the face.

Kanata - Netheruniverse, Throne Room of Empyria

"Tsubakiii, I'm boooreed.." A dog eared demon king laid on his throne sprawled in what was clearly an unkingly position. A more formal fox-eared person stood in front of him. Though she was no more formally dressed than him, her entire bearing spoke of proper etiquette. "There is nothing to be done I'm afraid. No drifting objects have threatened Empyria in some time. Its quite unusual." "They have to come back sometime." "Maybe we've destroyed so many gravity cores that they aren't coming back. This is an unprecedented situation in history." "Aww don't say that..." One floppy ear lifted as Kanata stopped suddenly and paid attention. He seemed to be paying attention to something.

"Master Kanata?" "Did you hear that Tsubaki? It sounds like trouble!" "Ah.." Kanata immediately adjusted, falling out of his throw and pushing himself unceremoniously upright and looked up. "I didn't hear anything. You mustn't go crazy Master Kanata, I'm sure there has to be someone new in town to talk too..." "No seriously! Someone wants my help! I'm in!" As Kanata sounded his agreement, the world began to spin..

Kanata - Gacha Room

Kanata appeared with a burst of enthusiasm. "The Demon Dog King Kanata has arrived to answer your call! ... Oh?" Kanata's tail still wagging, he noticed he was in an odd structure of some kind. He hopped out, landing with a loud thud. His eyes sparkled as he looked at the strange things around him, and at the two others in the room.

One was about to hit the other but Kanata all but ignored that in his mood. "Ah, it was you that called me here right? Fear not for the hero has arrived! I am so excited, I get to be the protagonist again and this time in a new game! So come on come on, spill it. Tell me more about this Gamenterprise!" His fists gripped tightly with excitement in front of him he waited for a response, one floppy dog ear still perked up .

Sophie ~ Gacha Room

One second, Sophie had been in her room, practicing a song in front of her mirror. The next minute, the world began to spin and she found herself tumbling through time and space. The minute after that, she was unceremoniously dumped on her bottom in the middle of what looked like a Bleaksteel control room, not that she knew what exactly that looked like or ever desired to know exactly what that looked like. She definitely would have expected that kind of place to be darker than whatever this was.

"What's happening? Where am I?" she frantically asked, looking around trying to make sense of it all.

Then her brown eyes settled on the arising altercation in another part of the room, and especially on the girl who looked way too dark and mechanical to not be related to the Bleaksteel in some fashion. After staring at it wide-eyed for a moment or two, she quickly tried to push herself back to her feet.

"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap...."

This was so not on her list of things to do today. She knew she'd have to put her gauntlet's abilities to actual use someday, but she wasn't expecting to have to use them right now.

On that thought, the red, mechanical gauntlet that covered her left arm began to glow a red-white light. The same light soon extended to cover the rest of her body of decidedly short stature for a fifteen year old girl. Another couple moments later, the light subsided to reveal her transformed self.

Her previously mundane outfit of a white t-shirt with blue sleeves, a short-jean skirt, and sneakers had become white and turquoise, practically robotic armor. Her body was covered in what could best be described as a sleeveless leotard, with an upside-down yellow triangle on her chest just below her neck. Her right arm and both her legs had become robotic up to the upper arm and thighs, respectively, with her fingers having become sharpened and claw-like and her feet becoming reminiscent of boots with a one-inch heel. Her new look was completed by what could be best described as a headset around her ears and her straight brown hair, previously cut in a chin-length bob, having grown just past her waist while fanning out.

The gauntlet on her left arm remained completely unchanged, although the glass window on the back of her hand flashed a yellow kanji symbol as she motioned towards the dueling pair...assuming the situation hadn't been resolved by the time she was finished changing.

"Shield!" she called out, and within a moment the girl under attack would find herself covered in a spherical yellow barrier. Upon absorbing one hit from her assailant it would break, but it was Sophie's hope that it would be enough for her to avoid getting seriously hurt.

The same place as literally everyone else

While the others were busily murdering each other, Lexa entered with quite a deal less fanfare. Wherever she was, things were always the same - there was always something she had to figure out, there were always two groups of people with a strong reliance on violence, and at some point she was probably going to be in a room with a high ledge, a low water line, a breakable wall, and at least one crate. After a while you learn to just ignore most of the background and focus on what's important at the moment.

For the time being, she was in a room with four other people and a lot of stuff. Of said stuff, the monitors in particular interested her.

"What language do we have here?" she said to nobody in particular as she approached her latest rectangular fascination, studying the monitor for a clue as to its purpose.

N-Sha, Gacha

"Yoo hoo, anyone here?"

As if on cue, a girl appeared.

"Oh, he-"

And their first reaction was punching her in the face. Then things happened fast. Like Sonic Fast. First a Dog Person came in, a male that wasn't a silhouette, which Nep found odd. He reminded her of her younger self, in a way. Must be the "Hero" thing.

Next came a girl, casual at first before she changed into armor, who put... something on her. Must be a CPU, given the armor.

Then she jumped back, the sound of something shattering as the punch grazed her. She also did not know what.

Last up was some sort of explorer girl, looking towards the monitor.

"Um... I'm pretty sure you have no reason to punch me right now. I mean, give me five minutes, and I can probably give you one, but I don't think we have met." She said to the punchy girl.

In other news, the monitor was displayed in English and Japanese, and was a bunch of analysis information, seeming to be linked to the circular structure. The general gist was that it was all operational.

If one could pick up on it, there were footsteps coming from beyond the door.

Fran, Still Angery
Right on cue, as if they were preparing for exactly this, what must have been a bunch of her subordinates decided to appear around her. One threw up a...strangely announced shield, instead of just growling or screaming or anything like that. In fact, in the corner of her vision, she could deduce that everyone here looked surprisingly...not monstrous.

Oh well, it's good to have some variation.

Instinctively circling to the right while keeping her eyes forward, hoping to put Nep in between her and the rest of the group, she decided to humor her opponent. "Then tell me, O Foe of mine, what reasons do I have not to kill you?"

Kanata - Gacha Room

Kanata blinked, they didn't respond at all to his inquiry and his tail slowly came to a halt though his ear remained perked up. He looked at the others that arrived one by one things happening very fast one after another, and his tail wagged again as he saw one of these girls transform. "Wooow that's so cool I wish I could do that!" He observed that she cast this 'Shield' around the other girl that was nearly struck. The suspicious attacker questioned why she should relent.

Kanata answered with reaching into his sleeve and taking out his paper fan. Lightly fanning himself in time honored fashion, he spoke. "What reason do you have to consider her a foe. If I had to guess you all were brought here with the message that asked for help as I was. You said yes to this, so what is the problem? That wasn't what brought you here?"

Sophie ~ Gacha Room ~ Heir to the (Not) Monado, Everybody

Thankfully, the Shield managed to keep the girl under attack from getting seriously hurt, though by the looks of things she was agile enough to avoid getting hit in the first place. Even more fortunately was that the probably-Bleaksteel girl was also willing to listen to some sort of reason rather than just keep attacking...though come to think of it, that probably meant she wasn't Bleaksteel after all. Since when would Bleaksteel even consider listening to reason?

"B-b-because no one here actually wants to kill you...?" Sophie interjected, "...Hopefully. Maybe...?" She paused slightly. "...W-well, I don't, anyway. I...I don't even know why I'm here all of a sudden...or even where 'here' is...."

Then a dog boy she hadn't noticed before brought up something she was completely unaware of. Setting aside the fact that this was a dog boy for the time being, she turned to him with a confused expression.

"...Message? What m-message? I don't remember getting anything like that...."

She glanced down at the floor with her chin resting against her right fist in thought as she probed her memory. Come to think of it, she may have heard something while she was practicing before getting unexpectedly warped. Focused as she was at the time, however, she couldn't remember a thing about it.

Fran, Angery?
The Cat decided to treat this whole affair more like it was a day at the park. Fran has never visited a park. All of them are blown up or filled with monsters. She sure imagined what a park must be like, however. People walking around in circles while talking to each other. Feeding non-violent birds with breads. Leisure.

More importantly, "What do you mean, Son of the Airou? What message was I supposed to receive when y—someone stole me from my home?"

She only stopped from accusing them further because its seemed like everyone else wasn't on board with this message bit. For all of the treachery of the manifold monsters back home, open deceit was never one of them. They wouldn't lie to your face when they could just stab you...

Though her pointy fists and her angry demeanor didn't go down just yet, she openly said "This is...quite strange."

Kanata - Gacha Room

Kanata stopped and looked away, scratching his face with his open hand while still lightly fanning himself. "I'm sorry I don't know who Airou is.." He took a few moments to consider that what he has thought was wrong, his ear twitched once, and brought his hand back down. "Hmm, so that isn't how this is. Well it was hard to hear, like a TV with bad reception. Tsubaki didn't hear it either. Does this mean they would have taken me even if I didn't want to come?" He had a puzzled look on his face for a bit before it broke out into a smile. "It doesn't matter, adventure awaits! The protagonist had to be informed of the situation first I guess, it must be up to me to lead. I was called by the Oracles of Gamenterprise to save this world because the people have no leaders and no faith or something. Since you guys don't seem to be the Oracles maybe those footsteps outside that door is one of them!" It was apparent for now that his hearing may be better than these ladies, his ears are larger than their human sized ears so it made some sense to the Demon Dog King.

Still the Same Place

English and Japanese, two languages with enough popularity and modernity to understand easily enough. Lexa could also understand the others in the room, another good sign. At the very least, the monitors meant she wouldn't be starting from scratch when it came to communicating with the locals, in addition to these people.

She didn't want to spook anyone any further by going for her own weapons, so she simply continued to stand towards one of the monitors and spoke from there.

"Why would you agree to come here if you weren't paying attention to the message?" she asked the angry lady.

N-Sha- Are We Still at the Gacha?

"I can think of several reasons..." the girl reached for one of them "... For one, my fanbase would be devastated. Second, I didn't do anything to you."

"Oh, you know the message from the Oracles about how we got to help out here? Thanks for the shield by the way." She responded to the "CPU". "Seriously, does anyone listen to these things? I don't either." She said.

It seemed the dog person did actually get the message.

"No, that's not their style. Yeah... Let's give everyone some details, should this world work on the same logic mine does, gotta make sure we're on the same page here. The leaders, I presume, are called CPUs. Console Patron Units. they lead nations, and rely on faith in them, in the form of shares, to run the country. Given that they're gone, we probably are being asked to find them, or take their place. Though something doesn't add up..."

The girl sounded like she had some experience in this sort of thing. She was interrupted by a ding sound

The door opened, and came in four people.

One, a blond fairy on a book.

Another, a blue-haired girl in a graduation uniform

Yet another, a boy-looking person in a suit

And finally, a girl with green long hair.

They were silent at first, then the suited one spoke up.

"It actually worked..."

Sophie ~ Gacha Room ~ Metaphorically On the Other Side of the World

After listening to the two people who actually seemed to know anything about what was going on and continuing to try to remember anything unusual that might had happened before her arrival, Sophie looked back up and shook her head.

"...Well, I think I might have heard something off while I was practicing my singing just now, but, um...I don't remember anything about what it might had been, because I too busy...well, practicing my singing. All I know was that I was in my room no so long ago and suddenly I'm here. At first I thought the Bleaksteel had something to do with it, because she," she motioned towards the previously hostile girl, "looked an awful lot like one of the Bleaksteel to me. But I guess it's something else after all...?"

After that, she offered the girl she protected a sheepish-looking smile. "And, um...don't mention it. I just, um...."

She was cut off by the arrival of four newcomers. Judging by the comment one of them made, they probably were the people who brought them here and thus could probably explain just what the heck was going on.

"...Um, what worked?" she asked.

Kanata - Gacha Room

Kanata looked expectantly at the four that arrived. "Well don't just stand there keeping me in suspense... spill it already!" Kanata's tail started to wave back and forth again. "You are here to explain everything right? What sort of awe-inspiring quest do we need to accomplish?"

Fran, No Longer Angry, But Waiting For The Worst
Turning her head back and shooting Sophie a dirty look, Fran announced "I'm no Bleaksteel. I'm hardly bleak or steel. If I was that, you'd be deemed a Stutterflesh to me."

But, no, high-quality insults aside, Fran looked over the group that had walked in, and noticed that they all shared a...wait. If she wasn't supposed to be killing someone right now, then that meant...

Oh God, she had been summoned to help people. Couldn't they just ask? They got that dumb cat in that manner! As soon as she realized this, Fran loudly groaned.

Gacha

Eventually, one of them responded to the girl, the graduate girl specifically.

"This device. I mean, we actually have people here!"

It seems people were ready to start helping. Good. Most people anyways, given the groan. The book took over.

"Very well. This land is named Gamenterprise. It was ruled over by 4 Console Patron Units, those that lead the nations. However, they have disappeared. As well, their Sisters, the Candidates, and Gold Third, their friends, have also vanished."

That answers my question N-Sha thought.

"As such, we, the Oracles, have been leading the nation. However, we cannot generate shares, what's needed to sustain this world. As such, it has deteriorated. This is where Project GACHA came in."

The one in the suit stepped in.

"Project GACHA was the product of using a Hyper Share Crystal to power an interdimensional teleporter. With it, we could call people randomly and request their help. Obviously, as you 5 are here, you have accepted. We need you to help with two things. One, finding everyone that's missing. Two, help generate shares, by helping people to believe in, if not the Goddesses, at least the Nation should suffice. Now, any questions?"

StephanReiken Since: May, 2010

Tail still wagging, the puppy had many questions to ask. "I have so many things to ask! What are Console Patron Units? Or Candidates, or Gold Third? What are 'shares'? Do you mean food? I love food!" Kanata asked a barrage of questions that most of the others in the room would probably already know the answers to. But someone here wasn't from a traditional universe.

Fran, Not Angery Just Pissed
It's been said by the Sages of the Moon in their seminal work, The Lawful Proceedings of The Kingdom Once Forgotten, that in another, less barbaric time the protectors and hunters of that day had an entirely different crime to investigate, as they didn't automatically assume that people who disappeared had died violently. Called Search and Rescue, they were apparently the masters of it. Fran hated Search and Rescue stuff.

"You're asking us to find how many people? It seems that you've gone and prattled off nothing short of an entire royal court that you want us to sniff for like cyberhounds," Fran said with not an ounce of irony.

I'm not sure why I feel the need to use a location header when we're all in the same place, but that's the breaks

"Shares? As in corporate stock? Does that mean your culture is governed by some sort of corporate or financial body rather than traditional government types?" Lexa said, trying to piece together just what sort of world she had gotten pulled into. It was a bit of a change of pace, she supposed. Instead of trying to find out what happened to leaders who had died hundreds, if not thousands of years ago, she was trying to find out what happened to leaders who could very well still be alive. She couldn't recall doing anything like that recently.

Well, the normal type of alive, at least. She wouldn't count ghosts and the like as the same category as what was going on here.

Gacha- One of these days we'll leave

"Um... 12 People." The suited Orcale would not admit that, yes, the practically lost the entire royal court.

"Ah... Does everyone need a lecture on how this world works, or do I just need to take him to the side?" the book fairy said, looking at Kanata

"A little more than just that," The graduate girl said to Lexi. "It's more... our lifestyle itself?"

Gacha- Progress, or An Exposition Dump

The book fairy breathed in, looked to N-Sha, and began the explaination.

"As you're likely aware, this world is named Gamenterprise. It is composed of several nations, some of which we likely haven't even discovered yet. The main hub, at least to us, is composed of four nations. Planeptune, Lowee, Lastation, and Leanbox. Each of them is ruled over, normally, by Console Patron Units, or "Godesses", we usually lack male leaders here. They are responsible for generating "Shares", the people's belief in them, by any means they see fit. This sounds bad, and it was, but nowadays the Goddesses are friends, to the point a formal peace treaty is unnecessary." N-Sha raised an eyebrow at the last bit.

"Anyways, Shares are used to power Gamenterprise, from the Strength of the CPUs to most of the world's functions. Being low on it is pretty bad."

"Three of the Goddesses have siblings, known as the CPU Candidates." At this, N-sha raised an eyebrow again, but the book continued on. "They help the CPUs, and act as their sisters keepers, in a way."

"Lastly, there is "Gold Third", a faction that recently came into Gamenterprise. We don't know too much about them functionally, other than they have Share-like Crystals in Towers, which hold a power that can defeat a CPU."

"Need Help? Then allow me to fill in the details."- N-Sha stepped up

"Neptune?"- The book fairy was... surprised, to say the least at the girl's readiness.

"Gold Third are very similar to CPU's, though, they don't have a nation to call their own. Rather, they're kinda like pop idols in that sense, still functioning off belief in them. Instead of a Share Crystal, they instead function off a Gold Crystal, which is pound for pound, if not equal, than more powerful than Share Crystal. These are housed in Gold Summits, essentially a giant tower the equivalent of a Basilicom. That's the main government building of a CPU, by the way. In short, I guess you can call them a counterpart to the CPUs? Though, I'm curious... what's a Hyper Share Crystal?"

"Oh!" The book fairy says, snapping back to reality after being weirded out. "A Hyper Share Crystal is a combination of a Share Crystal and a "Gold" Crystal, as you call it."

At this, N-Sha went into thought

"Something strange happened here, so the CPUs went to investigate the cause of it. They didn't return, so the Candidates and Gold Third went to search for them as well. They... also didn't return. Thus, why we, the Oracles, have stepped up as leaders, but we can't generate enough shares ourselves, and Gamenterprise has grown cold and stagnant, in a state of 'Shutdown', one can say. this is where project GACHA comes in."

"With this Crystal, and all of your help, we need to restore Gamenterprise from this state. To do this, you need to get the people to believe in the Goddesses, or what they built up, the nation, once again. The easiest way is to help and support the civilians with their problems. As well, if possible, finding all those that are missing would be a great service to not only the nation, but to everyone on a personal level as well."

"I hope that answers most of your questions."

nman Since: Mar, 2010

The Location

"So your goddesses literally draw power from belief, that's astounding," Lexa said. "I think that's enough of an overview for now."

"So then, where shall we start?" she concluded, clasping her hands together. "Anyone - or anywhere - you suggest?"
