I suspect it will, though I wouldn't expect to see her change her mindset on things if I were you, especially if they made Azure Gleam and Scarlet Blaze the antithesis of the other like how CF and AM are in 3Hs.
The only way I can see it happening is that if TWSITD in this Fodlan found some old Agarthan doomsday devise which can help them turn the tables on everyone. It could go from Arval themselves to something more mundane and cool like a giant mecha.

Fodlan is full of corrupt nobles. If the Slithers didn't want to bother infiltrating them, they could probably cut some villainous deals that feed into the nobles' greed (and then probably murder them in the end).

They tend to give their benefits to leaders who are capable of fighting to make use of them, and the rest of the time the regular nobles are gathered to help solidify their power base without making themselves the main threat.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I have no expectation for Edelgard to change her mindset.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.On the bit on how the Agarthans can field troops, my guess is that the Empire was split into two factions, one following Edelgard and the other following Arundel.
My guess is that Edelgard is on the backfoot, and has less resources than she has at this stage.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I would not be surprised if the Slitherers' "forces" are just people that they managed to manipulate to do their dirty work.
Maybe, gameplay-wise, this means that Slitherers aren't actually in large numbers on the field; you'll have to actively look for them and take them out, and they're prone to hiding in places that are a little more out of the way.
Yeah Arundel has the influence and power in the Empire to get an entire faction of the Empire to follow him if he really wanted to.
Since Edelgard and him were supposedly on the same page, that means there's no real fraction in the Empire that could cause a split.
But assuming Edelgard chose not to work with them or whatever happened, I could see Thales managing to rally a majority of nobles and troops to his side over Edelgard.
Doesn't help the insurrection in the backstory had reduced her family's power so Edelgard would have less support than Arundel in the Empire should she decide to go against him, in addition I recall that her seizing of power in the Empire had the support of Arundel, but I could be wrong in this point.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The Agarthans can field actual soldiers from Shambala. Remember that Claude fights them in the last chapter with Nemesis.
Yeah, it had Arundel's support because TWSITD are planning for Edelgard to take control. She's supposed to be their version of Nemesis + Wilhelm which is why they've been preparing for many years to weaken Leicester and Faerghus via their targeted attacks of the Riegans and Blaidyyds.
Reanimated! Nemesis is implied to be their Plan B if she dies or perhaps a trump card against Edelgard in case she gets out of control.
Thales, as Lord Arundel, could theoretically create a second faction in the Empire.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Most of the soldiers in Nemesis's group are zombies though, and only a minority are Agarthan.
That said, yeah I can see Thales using Minister Ludwig Aegir and Bernie's dad as pawns in Scarlet Blaze to gain support for a takeover, just let them think they are in charge.
Perhaps Edelgard's troops are from House Vestra, and the few loyal houses.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm pretty sure that you can count the number of maps where the enemies are entirely Slitherers on one hand. This is NOT a faction that mobilizes on the front lines if they can help it.
I would not be surprised if Three Hopes has several maps where Slitherers only make up a small portion of the enemy army you face, similar to how they usually show up as enemies on maps that are not called Shambhala.
Edelgard: So what did you promise Duke Aegir?
Thales: I promised him immortality.
Edelgard: And he fucking bought it?
Thales: Like discount Goddess Fish.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Edelgard: You cheeky Dick Waffle!
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness. Why don't you just not respond to it?
Let's not start please.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. It was a genuine request. What I don't understand is why you felt compelled to question it a full page later after the conversation had moved past it?

Trans rights are human rights.Edelgard is still one of the topics right now, but I'm not entirely sure why you're being sensitive about it? Apparently, I'm making Red Hunter uncomfortable so I'm not even going to bother responding for the rest of the day.
Three Hopes demo listing on Nintendo's website.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Aaaaand it's gone, though hopefully that confirms we might be getting it for real tomorrow after a trailer or something.
I'm still wondering how a subreddit dedicated to leaks still hasn't been taken down, but that still beats the alternative & going on 4chan.
Because it's to companies' advantage as hype builders to leave them intact. Think about it. What's more hype than the forbidden fruit of stuff of content that's supposedly not for official release? Just "leak" a few things to people you know are going to go off and run their mouths, then watch it get passed around.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiThat certainly checks out, but I've seen how territorial these companies can be about their properties & infos. Especially on Nintendo's part. I guess I shouldn't be looking at a gift horse in the mouth.
Three hopes demo most likely was supposed to be revealed in a direct. It will probably drop next then.
I wonder if dataminers will be able to find anything interesting in the demo. I'm reminded of how dataminers managed to discover a whole bunch of stuff in the Monster Hunter: Rise demo, even if they got some stuff wrong due to some of the discovered lines not having enough context.
I suppose it's possible, but I've got a few questions about how such a story would work. Namely, why would Edelgard decide to focus on the Slitherers in the middle of the war, and how can the Slitherers function as an independent faction when Three Houses showed them as simply not having the military power to resist open aggression from any of the nations of Fodlan.
