For purposes of helping stablish facts for character's origins and possible plotlines, here is the Official Timeline of the Justice Avengers Universe!

Billions of Years Ago:

  • Creation of the Universe: The Hand of God (DC) recreates the universe (see End of The Universe below) The only survivor of the previous universe is Galactus (M).
    • Due to Hypertime (DC) Alternate Realities begin branching off from the Beginning of Time.
  • The Elder Gods (M) appear on Earth, but most soon degenerate into demons, including the Demons 3 (DC).
  • Life begins on Earth. When the Demons threaten it, the Earth goddess Gaea (M) (also known as Maya, DC) calls on Demogorge (M) to eat them. Only a few escape to other dimensions, leaving behind artifacts that might one day summon them, such as the Darkhold and the Serpent Crown (both M).
  • After failing to prevent one of their own from tampering with the Creation of the Universe, the Oan race appoint themselves the Guardians of the Universe (DC) though their authority really only covers the Milky Way galaxy.

Millions of Years Ago:

  • An object crashes on Earth, killing off the dinosaurs... except in certain preserves created by the alien Fortisquians (M) such as the Savage Land (M) in Antarctica and Dinosaur Island (DC) in the Pacific.
    • According to the Eye of Odin (M) the object was an artifact of the Old Gods (DC).
  • The Celestials (M) arrive on Earth. By experimenting on our pre-human ancestors, they create The Eternals and The Deviants (both M) and give some humans the potential to become Mutants (M, DC) or Mutates (M) (Aka as Metahumans, DC).

The Time of Myths:

  • The first true human, a Cro-Magnon boy named Anthro (DC) is born.
  • Beings from other dimensions are worshiped as gods (M, DC).
  • Advanced civilizations such as Atlantis and Lemuria (both M and DC) existed, but were wiped out before recorded history. Both races survived below the sea.
  • The Celestials continue creating other humanoid races across the universe, including the Kree and the Skrull (both M).
  • The Kree experiment on a tribe of Earth humans, creating the Inhumans (M).

The Dark Ages:

  • At the time of the crusades, the Order of Saint Dumas (DC) forms.
  • Witch Hunts (and the level of magic dropping due to a star exploding) cause sorcerers and supernatural beings to either leave for a dimension called the Gemworld (DC) or hide their existence from normal humans in places such as New Salem (M).

The Recent Past

  • The Industrial Revolution: Captain Nemo (DC), The Frankenstein Monster (M, DC) and Dracula (M, DC?) are all active.
  • World War I: The Freedoms Five (M) is the first Superhero team of the 20th century. One of them, the biplane pilot American Eagle, clashes with the German “Enemy Ace” (DC) Hans Von Hammer.
  • The 1940’s: The Justice Society (DC) is the first American superhero team.
    • America enters WWII. Hitler and Tojo use the combined powers of the Spear of Destiny and the Holy Grail to keep the most powerful heroes from entering Axis-held territories.
      • In response, the President forms the All-Star Squadron (DC) (composed of all current superheroes) to protect the mainland. A select group that are not affected by the spell form The Freedom Fighters (DC, but includes members of The Invaders, M), and go in special missions in enemy territory.
        • In one Alternate Reality, the Nazis won; only the Freedom Fighters survived. Most heroes of that world are raised as Nazis. This world was eventually freed with help from the Justice League (DC).
  • The 50’s: The Skrulls turn their attention to Earth. One of their ships crashes in Roswell, alerting the US government, who decides to keep their existence from the public.

The Present:

  • A Few Years ago: Superman (DC) is the first of new generation of superheroes. Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the second Flash and the second Green Lantern (all DC) soon debut as well, and form the Justice League.
  • Currently: The Justice League, The Teen Titans (DC), the Avengers, The X-Men and The Fantastic Four (all M) are all active.
    • Because of Superman and other aliens, the public is now aware of the existence of extraterrestrials.
      • Conversely, most people still don’t believe in the supernatural.

The Near Future:

  • 2099: In a cyberpunk future, many new versions of older heroes appear (M). The Hero known as OMAC (DC) tries to prevent another World War.
    • if he fails, The Great Disaster happens, reducing Earth to a mutant-filled wasteland. Kamandi (DC) is the last true human left.

Before FTL travel is invented:

  • The solar system is colonized, by genetically engineering new species of humans with specific powers who can survive on environments different from Earth’s.

After FTL is invented:

  • Humanity explores the universe, and continues altering themselves to survive on new hostile worlds.

The Far Future:

  • By the 31st Century, a galactic government called The United Planets (DC) forms, with humanity as a major member.
    • The Legion Of Superheroes (DC) is the major team at the time. It includes members from the (original) Guardians of the Galaxy (M).
  • 100,000 years into the future: According to Captain Comet (DC) all humans will have evolved powers like his by this time.

The End of the Universe:

  • Known as “Vanishing Point” (DC) this is, for a while, a base of operation for both The Time Trapper and The Linear Men (Both DC). Eventually, only two Alternate realities are left: in one, the last three living beings are The Time Keepers, in the other, their counterparts, The Time-Twisters (both M). Regardless of who remains, eventually Death (M and DC) will claim then.
  • The universe ends, but a new one will rise in its place, continuing the eternal cycle. (both M and DC).
