As the flashback ends, the camera pans around the apartment. It's prior state of clutter made by the surplus of inventions has been traded in with an emptiness.

"Welp, those Repo Men got just about everything I needed them to. This was a heavy profit I made today, Bev."

"But aren't we gonna explain how we met Puma, and Cyber, and thegeniusyoshi, and Aracda 188, and Totally Not An Alien, and sarysa?"

"Who?"

"Puma voiced the talking elephant in that Sesame Street cartoon about the number 413, Cyber wrote the screenplay for Bob Hope and Bing Crosby in Chinatown, thegeniusyoshi invented Dark Matter Pizza, Arcada 188 secretly controls the world's governments, and sarysa is three semi-anthropomorphic pigs in a trenchcoat. You've seriously never heard of them?"

"Hmm. I don't know. Must have left the show."

"Eh, nevermind. Anyway, what have we learned here?"

We learned that only important people get backstories.

S2 Episode Unknown: The Good, The Bad, And The Tropers

In a dusty western town, a tumbleweed drifts through, as tension is palpable. Then, a car stops next to it. "Well guys, we made it to Oakwood, Texas! Why'd we come here again?"

"So, in the future, an AI I built takes over the world. I went back in time to stop it by killing my past self, and so I created a Zerobot to do it for me. He built his own Zerobot, to fight mine, and the Skynet expy sent back yet another one. However, all three decided to build more Zerobots to settle it once and for all in a Zerobot battle royale, and they ended up fighting for a long time, before I was the last me left. I decided to stop building more robots, but the Status Quo made me forget that decision when I joined the show. And, technically, the me that applies to died in North Korea, and I'm a me he built."
