Tropers: The Series

"I knew it. Was it as melodramatic as when Ford and I apologized to each other in the bus last episode?"

“No, the chapters where Chey was grieving mostly focused on the Zanreo, Taco, and Tropes storylines.”

"Well, I kinda knew the Convenient Miscarriage trope was gonna be used all along... Right, I'm gonna go find Ford."

(bump. The following was written last night. Well, 97% of it.)

(Clone!Robin and Clone!Maurice then come out of Chey and Ford's room cackling their heads off.)
"Hi, fellas. What's so funny?"
CLONE!MAURICE: "Your boyfriend's really drunk. And that's a pretty big understatement! Hahaha!"
"What in the name of Rassilon is he doing?"
(Ford then stumbles out of his room drunkenly singing "Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush in a horrible, slurred falsetto. Clone!Barry and Clone!Andy come out afterwards laughing as hard as their two other siblings. Cue canned laughter.)
"What the smegging smeg?"
CLONE!ANDY: "It was Mo's idea!"
CLONE!BARRY: "And what a good idea that was too."
"🎵 Heathcliiiiiiiiiiiiff, it's me, I'm Cathy I've come hooooooome... 🎵 Hiiii, Shay, how's mah best gal doin'? Hmm?"
"Ford, could you blow into this balloon for me?"
(Chey gives Ford a deflated balloon.)
"Ohhh, a balloon? Okay then, anythin' for you..."
(Ford then blows the balloon up all the way. When he finishes, he lets go of the balloon and it flies up to the ceiling. Cue more canned laughter.)
"Alright, done."
(Chey then looks at Ford with such great concern.)
"Fordie, sweetheart... I think you're drunk, like, really drunk."
"Oh, no, dearie, I'm feelin' real good."
(Ford falls to the floor, but Chey quickly catches him and picks him up.)
"It's okay, Fordie, I got you..."
"I love you... Let's go away somewhere and get married."
(Cue even more canned laughter)
"Wait, what?"
"You'd make a SMASHING bride..."
(Ford then smiles a rather big smile at Chey.)
"Wha-but we-huh?!"
"Only jokin', sweets."
"Good. Let's just wait, okay?"
"Okaaaaay... I'll propose to you one day... In front of every one of our friends..."
"Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea..."

Playing appears naked, with a piece of paper in his hand.

"I heard Chey and Ford are getting naked!"

"No, we're most certainly not! Playing, go put some smegging clothes on."
"I love you."
"I love you too, Fordie... I better get you to the couch."
(Chey then carries Ford to the couch and carefully sis him down. Just when she starts to walk away, Ford grabs a corner of Chey's shirt.)
"Noooo. Please don't leave me."
"Aw, Ford, I'm just going to come back to the kitchen."
(Ford then looks at Chey.)
"Oh, alright."
(Chey then goes over to the couch and sits down beside him. Ford then proceeds to wrap his arms around her.)
"Why, hello there!"
"Cheeeeeeeeeeeey."
"I'm here, I'm here..."
(Clone!Robin and Clone!Maurice snickers at what's going on in the living room.)
"Poor Ford's gonna have a pretty huge hangover later."
CLONE!MAURICE: "Well, at least he'll be in very good hands. Hahaha!"
CLONE!BARRY: "Come on, you two. Let's go play Jenga."
(The Gibbs then go back to the bedroom.)

"I meant married!"

Playing puts on clothes.

"Taco, I heard you like bottles."

"I had an incident back in the day, I prefer not to speak of it."

"Last episode, kids is one where we learned about Taco's obession with bottles."

"We're not getting married either. Not right now."
(Ford then lies down, rests his head on Chey's lap, and falls into a deep sleep. Cue the audience going "Awwww...". Chey then looks at the camera and says quietly...)
"Poor dear's gonna be hungover to Skaro and back when he wakes up."
(Cue canned laughter.)

"Actually, kid, that would be Season One Episode Twelve."

"And I said not to speak of it!"

(Chey then moves Ford's head away from her lap and carefully gets off the couch.)
"So, uh, what's up with you and bottles, Taco?"

"Why the Hell does everybody wanna talk about this?"

"Ahhh, nevermind. Let's just go back to discussing fanfiction like we were doing earlier."

"I wrote one. It's called Taco Visits the BFDI World."

"Here's one I wrote while I was in the bathroom in between episodes. It's called How Taco Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bottle. It's three pages long."
(Chey then proudly shows off the 'book', which was just a few pieces of printer paper stapled together with a crude drawing of Taco with a beer bottle with stick limbs, a skirt, and a face drawn on it on the cover.)

“I hope you have fun making fun of my mental illnesses, past and current, Chey, you sicko.”

"Chapter 1. Taco Goes In 2 the BDFI werl. Taco wz satn their, where s port al pooped out uv than are."

Taco gets angry.

“Who let the Taco Clone in the apartment again? Get out of here.”

The Taco Clone says, “The only reason I’m mad is that I didn’t ask to be created!”

"Taco wz-"

Chey dabs.

"What the heck? Why's there a clone of me now? Get outta here, you!"
(Chey then chases the Chey clone out of the apartment.)
"Smeg, Taco, I'm sorry! If it'll make you feel better, I didn't write inside the pages at all."
(Chey opens the book and shows Taco each and every page. They were all blank.)

“Now Im even more mad! You didn’t even make something good out of mocking me! At least when I’m heartless, I wear it on my sleeve.”

The clone cuts in. “I don’t know if she’s being heartless as much as being ignorant.”

“Well, of course, 2co, but ‘Heartless’ makes people feel worse about themselves.”

“Aaah. I see. I have much to learn.”

(Clone!Robin then comes out of the room.)
"We'll write something!"
(Clone!Robin grabs the book out of Chey's hands.)
"Oi!"
"We'll be back."
(Clone!Robin then returns to the room.)

Taco and 2co turn to each other and shake their heads.

Taco pipes up, “You know, Movie, this guy ain’t too bad after all...”

"Well, looks like it's just you and me now, Taco... Wanna play Uno?"
(Clone!Robin and Clone!Maurice comes out.)
"I had a co-writer on board with this! Wanna hear it?"
"Alright, Hit it."
(Clone!Robin then takes a breath and starts reading.)
"Once upon a time, Chey and Ford were-"
(Cue sponsor tag.)
ANNOUNCER: "Tropers: The Series, brought to you by the Calendar Keepers Society."
"Hello, I'm the president of the Calendar Keepers Society urging you to get a calendar this Christmas. And be sure to gift your loved ones a calendar too. Thank you."
DIFFERENT ANNOUNCER: "This message was paid for by the Calendar Keepers Society, who is solely responsible for the content seen in this ad. All rights reserved."
ANNOUNCER: "We now return to Tropers: The Series."
(Cut to Chey at the paper shredder removing the staples from the 'book' and getting ready to put each page through the shredder.)
"...I-I don't know what to say, really... Except that there will be no dessert for the two of you tonight."
