Tropers: The Series

(Meanwhile, Ford goes over to the jukebox area. He was a bit confused by the controls of the nice, high-tech, modern touchscreen model. He turns to who he thought was just a random customer for help.)
"Excuse me, do you know how to shut that song-"
(Ford couldn't believe his eyes when he saw who was sitting at the table near the jukebox. Kringle was trying to eat his fries when he finally saw the man he thought he'd never see again.)
"Hello, Kringle."
"Hello, Ford."
(Kringle gets up from his seat.)
"I-is it really you, Ford?"
(Kringle places his hands on each side of Ford's face. Ford gently nods his head.)
"It's me, Kringle. It's me."
(Kringle moves his hands away from his face and puts them in Ford's hands.)
"It's been years."
(Tears start to form in Kringle's eyes, but he blinks them away.)
"It certainly has. C'mon, let's go sit."
(Kringle and Ford sit at the table.)
"So, how have you been?"
"I've been keeping busy. Made a lot of contributions relating to computers and robots and all that to the Guide. Won an award, y'know. I built meself a mechanoid and she became my travelling partner. How are you?"
"I've went through a lot since we..."
(Ford clears his throat.)
"Since we parted ways. I ended up on Earth, reunited with a wonderful old friend of mine, made a lot of new ones, settled down after travelling around the world, got up to lots of mischief..."
"Ahh, still getting involved with misadventures, aren't you?"
"Yes, definitely."
"Typical Ford."
(They share a chuckle.)
"Anyway, I have a picture of me with my friend. Let me find it..."
(Ford rummages through his bag before pulling out a picture of Chey. He places the picture on the table.)
"Chey, isn't it?"
"Yeah. I talked to you about her in the past, didn't I?"
"Yeah..."
"So, how did you end up here?"
"I don't know. One minute, my friend and another mechanoid that we befriended were in his apartment, having tea, looking at pictures, and planning on how we're gonna fix our spaceship, and the next, we end up on this planet where everyone looks a lot like you."
"What happened to your spaceship?"
"My friend and I were trying to get to a planet when we somehow tore a hole in what looked like a cardboard wall. Then our ship started having issues and plummeted to the nearest planet, which was Earth. We crash-landed in the middle of a park. Another mechanoid who calls himself Garfunkel showed up and got us out of the wreckage."
"Wait, Garfunkel? Where is he?"
"Sitting at another table with my friend. I'm afraid I've ditched them when I decided to go to the jukebox."
(Kringle gets up from his seat and picks up his food .)
"Follow me."
(Ford follows Kringle over to Garfunkel and Cilla's table.)
"Mr. Prefect, sir! It is wonderful to see you, I see that you've met with Mr. Botts. Cilla, this is Ford Prefect!"
"Greetings, Mr. Prefect! It is a delight to meet you at last. I've heard a lot of nice things about you from Mr. Kringle."
"You knew Kringle before, Mr. Prefect?"
"Yes... We were, uh, very close back in the old days."
"Are you okay, Ford?"
"Yeah, yeah,"
(Ford clears his throat.)
"I'm fine. Perfectly fine..."
(Meanwhile...)

The wizards just settle for keeping their plan well hidden from the others. Given how easily things go wrong in the presence of the Tropers... on top of wizards causing noodle incidents... yea.

"But if someone else wins-"

"Yea I know so just go with-"

The wizards are doing more gesturing.

"Use my plan, and paint everything here black!"

The wizards just... ok no idea what they said to each other, but they seem to just... agree?

"There are worse plans than that."

"I mean what plan are WE going with for this round?"

"Oh you know, what we are good at. Just aimed in the right directions."

"Toned down, but sure!"

"Tone it up!"

Both wizards look at him.

"If we did, noodle incidents would happen and that's too obvious."

"Why paint everything smegging black? I think blue would look nicer."

"It's not my idea. They think it will work... but honestly probably not knowing how you guys work. I mean... Briya is well... known for shooting people. You know what I mean by now. And I've caused my fair share of noodle incidents just by trying to help out as a bystander."

"I've never seen her shoot anyone. Anyways, how's red for a color?"

"We should do a poll."

"Might we suggest turquoise?"

"Or indigo?"

Both wizards do the rough gesture equivalence of rolling their eyes.

"As long as the plan works, just pick a color."

"But we need this to look good!"

Some more gesturing later...

"Fine, but the color that is picked has to blend in ok? Whatever it is, if making it look good won't harm the end goal then that's fine."

Briya said this in a tone of resignation, and knowing how the Tropers work.

"We're trying to sabotage ourselves, so all of our puyos should be the same!" Her sprite switches to one where she holds a bunch of Puyos in her arms.

"How about Hot Pants Pink?"

"But we also want to sabotage everyone else, so we should make everyone's Puyos the same color except the Fords'."

Guy walks in and says "So let's do this"

Wait, this is puyo puyo. If all colors are the same, and we won, the ford planet might..you know what happens when a planet lose in the tournament. Now, if we're playing Tetris, that would be different story.

Come on, Xabby! It's for the stars in another round when planets beat each other!

Yeah, but do you want a planet, which happens to be full of clones of Chey's husband, to get blown up by Mother Nature?

Chey is married to Ford?!

It took you THIS many episodes to realize that?!

I was too busy dealing with shipment, which is not has to deal with you and one fictional character..

You know what. I'm done with the planet blown up for once, let's just let Ford planet win and let them live for who knows how long.

"Oh! Then we spray paint all THEIR Puyos, then we take all the good Puyos and give it to the planet!" She hurls all her Puyos away, well, her sprite at least.

"But when? Excuse me, Chumbley?"
"Yes"
"When are we gonna start the tournament?"
"Tomorrow."
"Well, smeg."
(Ford and Kringle show up.)
"Ford! There you are. Hey, who's the new friend?"
"Chey, I'd like for you to meet my old partner Kringle Botts. Kringle, this is my wife Chey."
(Kringle and Chey shake hands.)
"It's very lovely to meet you! I've heard a lot about you."
"Hello there, Kringle! Anyone who's a friend of Ford's is a friend of mine. I hope."
"Hey, is that a baby you're holding?"
"Yeah! Her name is Delilah and she's over a year old. She's our heart, soul, and everything else. Say, hello, Delilah!"
(Delilah waves at Kringle.)
"Hiiiiiiii."
"Hello, Delilah! Goodness, she looks a lot like Ford..."
"She sure does. Did you know she's already figured out how to speak a bit and walk a bit?"
"Oh, that's wonderful! Looks like you two are great parents."
"Thanks, Kringle!"
"And I deduct these are-?"
"These are our friends. We've been through thick and thin but we always come out alive, stronger, and laughing our heads off."
(Kringle smiles a bit.)
"Ahhh. Well, hello there, uh, my name is Kringle."
(Kringle sticks out his hand.)

Xabby then handshakes Kringle's hand.

Nice to meet you too, Kringle. I'm Xabby. I'm an demi god that belongs in the Tropesburg observer committee and I'm pretty much trap in Tropesburg until who knows how long-

And I'm Mr. 300 BC! Bi-gender, fellow demi god, and her boss!

And my boss is fucking idiot.

The wizards have joined the Demigods at some point. Like now. Did they just teleport over there?

"Huh, I don't know the story about the clones."

Lola meanwhile seems to be floating. Probably being used to being surrounded by tall people. While being short herself...

"Curse my height."

"Wait, hold up. Do any of the Fords date each other? Cause that would be fucked up."

. . . Evidently the wizards stop and think about it. Judging by their gestures they stopped thinking about it too hard once the implications sunk in. The abrupt pause in their thinking gestures just says it all.

"Nope. Not thinking about that! NOPE!"

"I don't want to reach for brain bleach."
