Ohm-Mi whistled through his teeth when Sebastian revealed just how wanted everybody on the speeder was. He didn't know much about the Force but it surely must have brought them all together for a reason. That or the comm call but still, Ohm-Mi felt that this meeting was important. He was probably presumed dead back at base but if he managed to do some damage to the Empire here on Dragros, he might be able to snag himself a promotion. He might be the subject of a Cerean ballad at home, like his hero, Ki-Adi Mundi.

"Alright, point taken about the strangling," Ohm-Mi chuckled. "Guess I'll have to find a way to win you over ba-..."

He stopped himself before uttering "babe" again, a rare moment of restraint for the Cerean jock.

"Anyways, a plan would be good. Add to the pot that I'm an escaped POW and this landspeeder probably contains the most wanted people on the planet at the moment. It won't be long before every bounty hunter with two legs is after us. I'm heading to the Rebel stronghold - they might be able to hook us heroes up with some help"

"An Inquisitor," Lieutenant Gresh said under his breath, clearly surprised. "Here? That means... the other one's a Jedi." He paused a second, then burst into a sprint, his men following promptly.

Still running, he continued, "Change of mission parameters, lads. If the Rebels here are affiliated with a Jedi, then we aid the Inquisitors in their duty. Keep blasters hidden for now, but if you see any Rebels then take the chance." He looked over at the pilot. "Even you, Flight Lieutenant. I'm trusting you to keep your cool, and considering your skills I think that shouldn't be a problem. Now," he gestured to two landspeeders, civilian model, near them, "According to your file, I'm pretty sure you could hotwire us these. Correct me if I'm wrong, Vala."

"Err, what?" Fardiss said. His head was still ringing from the repulsorlifts. "Well, this one with the flashy blades says she got a safehouse somewhere around south, I think." He shook his head. His ears were still ringing a bit. "Did you really shout that?" He asked, the corner of his lips tugging upward slightly. "How'd that turn out for you, champ?"

"And as it happens, I've got some valuable info too." He patted a pouch at his hip. "So maybe we should turn it in together, huh? Besides, big guy here apparently knows the way." He nodded to the Cerean.

"So you've got a vibromaul, huh, champ? " He inspected his LL-30 for any damage from the repulsorlifts. "Because that would be good against an Inquisitor, methinks. Besides, if what I've heard is correct, they travel in pairs."

And up on the rooftops, a black-clad, robed person watched the landspeeder go. His face was wrapped in black cloth, covering everything except his mouth, showing nightmarish fangs, a forked tongue, and burnt skin. Even his eyes were covered. His gloved hand went to the lightsaber at his waist. Clearly, this was a job for two. And Thirteen never failed a job. Especially if it involved a chance to kill someone.

He flexed his hand, and the dual blades of his lightsaber ignited, crimson red.

Then, with only the slightest of movements, he launched himself through the air, tucking into a midair flip, then extended, boots forward, straight at the Jedi.

He would enjoy this hunt.

Sebastian snorted. "A safe house? I suppose that'll do for now. At the moment, I'm more interested in getting paid. I may be a rebel sympathizer, but I work for cash," he said, not at all convincingly.

He cracked a smile at the informant's last point. "I do tend to be slightly more subtle than that. As in, I blow open a hole in the wall, rush in, and shoot you. Rushing people with a huge, rare vibro-maul while wearing a suit of heavy mandalorian armor tends to work, mainly based on pure intimidation alone."

At the mention of another Inquisitor, Sebastian's expression darkened, and he scanned their surroundings. "True. I've killed one of their number so far- I have experience fighting them. My vibro-maul is weaved- it can block their lightsabers, and their heads come off as easily as anyone else."

"Still," he continued, "I'm not sure-"

And then his eyes caught a flash of movement as a robed figure leaped at them.

Rising in a swift, smooth motion, the mercenary raised his wrist. Time seemed to slow for a moment, and a cruel grin crossed his lips as his fingers curled to press the hidden button on his Vambrace.

"The rebellion sends its regards, you filthy MOTHERFUCKER!"

And then a gout of flame erupted from his wrist and things got very... heated for the Inquisitor, very very quickly.

Kodra tightened her grip on her activated shoto and watched the second inquisitor be engulfed by the fire. "My safehouse is further south, hidden under the large tree with the swing tied to it," Kodra said. "The rebel stronghold is a little eastward of it. My plan was to go to my place, make sure we're all good, lay low for a few hours, and then head over to the stronghold. Does anybody have a better one?"

The Flight Lieutenant still could barely believe what she was seeing, staring dumbstruck as the speeders passed their position. Her mother used to tell her stories about the Jedi, great warriors with incredible powers and swords made of light. The Sith Inquisitors, on the other hand, she had only heard whispers of them among the Imperial officers and frankly felt lucky she hadn't seen one before. Vala cringed as the armoured Sith crashed, part of his speeder bike flying off as he disappeared in the rubble - She was about to rush to help, the survival rate of that crash was still better than an average swoop race, when Lie tenant Gresh appeared with orders.

Myn frowned a little, she thought that chasing after an armed Jedi and their Rebel cadre with little more than blasters was at best incredibly dangerous. However, she'd been given far more suicidal orders in the fleet and Gresh was not a man to be argued with, "That file is sounding less flattering by the minute, sir." She turned with a devilish grin, but nodded and started running towards the civilian landspeeders, "I wouldn't be a good Blue Sector citizen if I never 'borrowed' a speeder." She added as she clambered onto the first vehicle, pulling a discrete tool from her belt and setting to work. Val had it running within a few moments and moved onto the next one, "These civilian models aren't going to be very fast, sir." She warned as the second came to life and she settled herself in the pilot seat, "Alright, let's go then boys!" The pilot called, watching the rubble with a little concern but then distracted by the second inquisitor leaping at the Rebels.

Landspeeder

"Your plan sounds good ba-" Ohm-Mo said, stopping himself again. They needed to lose this Inquisitor and any stormtroopers pursuing them. Trusting those not driving to be able to handle Thirteen for a bit, Ohm-Mi gunned the landspeeder out of the city and towards the open expanse of the outdoors. While he was intending to head to this Zabrak's safe house eventually, he figured that a mile or two of open plains would make it harder for anyone on foot to pursue.

"We only need to be fast enough to keep them in sight, easy enough on the desert plains," Lieutenant Gresh. He signalled to his men, who all boarded the two landspeeders. Gresh himself took the driver's seat of one. Then he motioned to Myn.

"C'mon, then. You'll drive the other."

Thirteen screeched, a feral, hideous noise, as his robes caught fire. He dropped to the ground, writhing for a second.

Through passion I gain strength.

He gathered up his pain, his anger, and let it loose, causing a large shockwave around him. The fire was blasted out, extinguished, even if Thirteen wasn't totally unscathed. He stood, some of his bandages burned off. One eye shone, red and yellow and burning with hatred. With an animalistic snarl, he threw his dual saber. It span through the air, humming straight for the landspeeder itself.

Landspeeder

Ohm-Mi was out of options as he saw the spinning lightsaber hurtling towards them in the rear viewscreen down on the dash. So he resolved to do the one thing that he thought might have a chance of working. He spun the landspeeder around and gunned it towards the Inquisitor. The Cerean daredevil then drew his DL-18 and, with one hand still on the wheel, fired it at Thirteen's body. Reasoning that either the Darksider would have to either telekinetically drop his hold on the thrown lightsaber in order to dodge the blasterfire or would take two or three blaster bolts to the torso, he hoped his plan would work. Ohm-Mi was fine with either choice, although he was personally hoping that he might get to run Thirteen over with the landspeeder. Since he was gunning it towards Thirteen, the speeder and its occupants were now headed back towards town.

"This speeder's too hot! We might have to bail and lose the Imps on foot in town!" Ohm-Mi called out to his fellow Rebels.

"Way ahead of you, sir." The Flight Lieutenant grinned, already in the driver's seat of the landspeeder by the time he took the controls of his own vehicle and his men boarded the craft, "Let's see what these things can do..." She said to herself, slamming on the accelerator and shooting off after the Rebel craft at a rapidly increasing pace. Whilst the civilian model wasn't particularly fast Vala knew how to get the most out of the under-powered engine and some sneaky little maneuvers to gain ground. Fortunately the model the Rebels sported wasn't much better, so far as she could tell. Myn's speeder was quickly catching up to them and the now thoroughly displeased Sith Inquisitor throwing a dual-saber at the poor fools.

Val's first instinct was to completely avoid the dark, practically burning figure - if only for realistic concern for her commandeered craft. However, it was their duty to assist him and failure to do that would have far more unpleasant consequences than a busted landspeeder. She steered her craft and passengers to pass the Sith closely but also saw the Rebels were charging him, "Well this won't end well for anyone..." She sighed, changing her trajectory to cut off the Cerean-piloted craft and, if they didn't stp or turn in time, crash into the front of their speeder. She couldn't help but grin wider, relishing the feeling of the rushing wind and the exhilaration of this cut-throat little race.

"If I need a new speeder, you're paying for it!" Kodra told Bonga, doing her best to keep the dual lightsaber in the air and away from her vehicle. She entertained the notion of throwing one of her shotos at the sith, but between holding onto the other one with one hand to deflect blaster bolts and defend herself, fighting to keep the dual saber away from her speeder, and keeping her balance to avoid falling, she wasn't exactly in a position to do so.

As she saw the other landspeeder, Kodra swallowed and did what she thought to be the only reasonable course of action. She deactivated the shoto in her hand, placed it in her belt, and proceeded to push with the force against the ground, landspeeder and sith ahead and to the side.

The motion threw her landspeeder upwards, back and in the opposite direction, forcing a last-minute swerve away from the sith and other vehicle.

"Son of a-" Vala exclaimed as the shoto-wielding Jedi-apparent reached out and somehow pushed their crowded landspeeder up and away from her, allowing it to swerve before impacting them, "That was one hell of a trick..." The pilot grimaced as she wrestled with her own landspeeder, thrust nearly into a flip by the force but stabilized by her expert hand - She had to admire the tenacity and skill, or insanity, involved in their escape. Myn made a pin-head turn and resumed the pursuit of the Rebels, "If you boys are gonna do anything other than gawk, now would be a good time!" The Flight Lieutenant called over her shoulder as she tried to once more close the distance.

Thirteen dropped and rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the blaster bolt fired by the Cerean. Mentally he marked that one as 'first to go'. His lightsaber passed the landspeeder by barely a foot, unguided by his Force powers. Quickly he stood, pulling it back to him.

Then, with the aid of the force, he sprinted forward, not towards the rebel landspeeder, but the Imperial one. He jumped, landing right on the back. He looked towards the pilot, a woman of some sort in a rather garish Coruscanti getup. "I want them caught," he snarled. Then he turned forward, towards the rebel landspeeder. He directed his power towards the force-user, the Jedi, and pulled.

Lieutenant Gresh, meanwhile, and his men, pulled out their hidden blasters, setting sights on the rebels. Garrote/Ben pulled out a rather large rifle, apparently having more hiding space underneath his clothes then seemed apparent.

"Fire!" Gresh yelled.

Fardiss, meanwhile, was aiming his blaster at the Imperials. He knew better than to aim near the Inquisitor - that would get him shot with his own bolt. Instead he aimed for the other craft, for one of the men carrying a large rifle. He squinted, trying to get a goid shot. How'd I get into this mess? he thought, then abruptly laughed. The adrenaline was really getting to his head.

Vala flinched when the black robed Inquisitor leaped onto her borrowed craft not because she was surprised, she had planned to pick him up after all, but a reaction to his entrenchment in darkness and anger. Regardless, she had a job to do and with or without the Force's interference she was going to do it, "This is the last time I moonlight in public transport..." She quipped, straining the landspeeder's engines to catch up with the Rebel craft and avoiding any stray blaster fire coming their way - fortunately the Sith's presence seemed to dissuade such attacks somewhat.

The Flight Lieutenant took a hand off the controls and pulled open her outrageously hued Coruscanti jacket to retrieve the hidden blaster pistol. Clearly Gresh and his men had similar ideas, Val trying not to marvel at how they hid a blaster rifle in their clothes and instead maneuvering the landspeeder in to a flanking position to the Rebels - a opportunity for them to create a makeshift pincer formation. Myn aimed her blaster away from the Jedi and instead at one of their back-mounted accelerators, concentrating her fire in the hopes of damaging or disrupting its function; with a little luck it would slow them down or make it harder for their Cerean pilot to steer.

"Nice one!" Ohm-Mi yelled to Kodra as her move with the landspeeder paid off. He lost control of the vehicle briefly with the stunt but quickly regained it and gunned it towards the Rebel stronghold, instead of Kodra's.

"We're going to need reinforcements! I'm going to the Rebels. See if you can get those speeders off of us!" he shouted, transferring all nonessential power into the thrusters.

"I've got an idea," Kodra said, activating one of her shotos and making it fly about the ship, deflecting the blaster bolts that were out of arm's reach. "One of you boys with blasters, please aim up and shoot?"

As the blaster bolts flew, making the air between the landspeeders a sizzling light show, Gresh leaned back in his pilot's seat, turning towards Garrote/Ben.

"I want the Jedi down, soon, or else our blaster fire will never get through," he yelled back.

Garrote nodded, focusing on the Jedi. He didn't go for the head; instead, he aimed for her left leg, attempting to knock her off. This is what he had been trained for; he was the best marksman of the squad, even beating the honorable lieutenant. Slowly, he aimed, then pulled the trigger.

Meanwhile, the Inquisitor Thirteen had a similar idea. He focused his hatred, his anger, and pulled at the Jedi, his Force powers augmented by his passion.

"Roger that," Fardiss yelled to the Jedi, firing his LL-30 upwards instead of at the rifle-weilding Imperial, as had been his original plan. He didn't quite know what the Jedi was playing at, here, but he wasn't about to question her in this firefight.

Kodra deflected the shot at her leg with little issue. The pull was more difficult. She thought to plant her feet onto her landspeeder, but thought better of it. That would just shove the whole thing towards the sith. So she jumped straight towards the sith, her shoto forward, and kicked herself up against their vehicle the moment she was close enough to, bouncing up and high enough to catch up with one of Fardiss' shots in the air.

She batted it at the sith as if it were a baseball, then landed on top of the back of her landspeeder with a thud, making the poor thing wobble for a moment.

This chase through the city was all well and fascinating, but it was preventing her from getting to her goal: out of the city. Granted, her target was sitting in one of the speeders in the chase, but Watcher Twelve was a spy, and that meant she couldn't blow her cover. They were on nominally Imperial territory, but...

So, she contented herself to following the chase, relatively safe in her armored landspeeder. If the rebels were leaving the city, that meant they were going to hide somewhere. Finding out where that was... well, that would be very good, now wouldn't it? She'd leave the capture to the obviously-inept grunts on the ground, and simply be content to follow them as close as she dared - though getting close enough to plant a tracker would be a lovely idea... The question was, how?

Watcher Twelve nodded to the driver. "Speed up, I want us to get around this... mess." The driver nodded, and hit the accelerator, obviously intending to simply speed around the, well, mess, as instructed.
