Shooji doesn't even do that, he just flat out eats you alive.

I don't mind the art, and honestly, it made Shooji far creepier then he would be with cleaner art.

Clearly, I'm glad they didn't made Sarada a BFF (Brain-dead Fawning Fangirl) like her mother was.

At least her dialogue with Boruto sounds like two human beings respecting each other, which is more than can be said for any Sakura/Sasuke interaction.

She needs a better battle-cry though.

She said Bolt has gotten all "shannaroo". What the fuck does that mean?

Its a nonsense phrase like dattebayo.

I think that's supposed to be a hyper-contracted version of "shou ga nai darou" (to say something is hopeless or can't be helped, basically), but that's just my theory.

No but real talk, Sarada needs to stop dressing like a prostitute. Yes its more accurate to the kunoichi mythos but not at that age.

To be fair for this outfit at least its supposed to be Sarada casually in her nightwear rather then a terrible mission outfit.

Still not great though, I really miss Kishimoto's not sexualized design for her. At least the anime reigned the design in and kept the outfit from looking too gratuitous.

I remember one of Kaguya's nightmare faces making good use of the Byakugan. I just never expected to see the "Nightmare Byakugan" on Hinata's face though.

It took a damn eternity but it finally seems like plot is happening.

You say that like the plot hasn't been front and center the entire time even though Boruto's been trying to figure out what's been going on since day one.

Its been a slow burn through fillerish feeling eps until very recently.

I think it did its part introducing our main cast pretty well. I certainly have a much better picture of what Inojin, Metal and Shikadai are then their previous appearances gave and it gave a bit more nuance to characters we already do know pretty well like Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki and Chocho.
