I walk over to the Chansey. I place my good arm on her forehead.

"Miss? Are you okay?"

Finley simply stares ahead trying to compromise.

"..."

And then changes direction, heading to the inn like Jack requested.

"Let's go, then. We'll drop her off at the hospital."

*meanwhile, at the ground ward of the understaffed hospital, Jani finally wakes up* これはどこだ？！...err, where am I? Where is everyone? Dana?? DANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! *her cries barely heard as most of the sick mons and staff had left to check the commotion*

*meanwhile, Voxno-V◊, who has been tending to the fallen Chansey for awhile, coldly states* It seems that whenever perpetrators have the most interesting things to say, their consciousness denies them. *regardless, continues to jot down notes regarding Yamaropu's spiel*

Cabe had to go, so...

*their hearts warmed further by Yamaropa's sacrifice, Keiko and Mikasa run to their fallen loved one* Anata^†!! Daddy!!! *they fall into a heap over him and start crying uncontrollably*

†In certain contexts, Japanese women may refer to their husbands by "anata". I'm 90% sure this is one of them.

She was stupid to play the support role as opposed to just helping endnote the fight entirely.

Now someone is dead.

"Well? Are we going or not?"

CODE RED! TAKE THE PINEAPPLE TO THE ICU! HURRY! (the Chansey yells suddenly, bolting awake.)

(She then realizes how hurt she is.)

Goodness gracious me...where am I, and why do I feel like I just got trampled by a herd of Tauros...? Ow! (the Chansey yelps as she tries to move.)

(At that moment, Marsha and Delilah return.)

What a mess... (Marsha says sourly at the ransacked boardwalk and the gradually winding down riots. She still looks visibly uneasy over how everything and everyone looks.) At least it's all over, right?

(I see them.)

Hey, you guys want to help get this Chansey to the hospital? She's fine now except for a broken arm and foot.

Sure, Goobert.

(Marsha and Delilah carefully pick the Chansey up and head toward the hospital.)

I still don't know what happened! Hello...? Oof! My foot!

Meanwhile at the hospital, Serris slithers his way up to the reception desk... or rather, what's left of it, amidst all the debris from the rioting.

Ah, HELLO. To anyone who may be so kind as to answer: I am aware that, by sheer happenstance, I've arrived shortly after some chaotic goings-on, but you see, when I see a goal, I stick to it, like a Brazilian footballer! So, I must humbly request somebody inform me if making an appointment would be necessary, s'il vous plait!

Jack arrives at the hospital

Jack: Excuse me, but is there a map and a drawing utensil I can use? I need to mark a location on a map!

Serris conveniently finds a pencil lying on the floor - probably from the desk - and hands it to the Lucario with his tail.

Don't ask me about maps, though. I know 'jack' about any maps, he says, coincidentally citing the Lucario's name without even knowing it.

"Anyone wanna help me get Cyk?" I call to the group.

(I realize that I'm still holding Cyk.)

Oh, I've still got her right here! We need to get her to the hospital, too, and fast!

(I begin carefully walking down the boardwalk to the hospital.)

"Do you need help, Goobert?" She asks, offering to help hold Cyk up.

"I can be of assistance as well, but I only have one free arm", I say, holding out said arm as to be a stretcher for Cyk's legs.

Jack takes the pencil and finds a blank piece of paper.

Jack (silently thinking to himself): Since I can't mark my old living quarters on a map yet I might as well draw what it looks like.

Jack draws a small treehouse in a massive tree, with the tree itself looking very capable to supporting several treehouse extensions. The tree is in a flowery meadow surrounding by trees, with a bubbling stream near the treehouse. There's also a nearby cave that can be used for storage.

Go right ahead, guys. (I tell Finley and Marlon.)

I use my free arm to hoist up Cyk's legs.

"Finley, grab her midsection, and Goobert, grab her head. Wel try to make a stretcher."

"Roger."

She does just that, carefully holding her.

"You're going to be okay, Cyk..."

(I wait for the other two to get a good grip on Cyk.)

If we're ready, then we'll start heading for the hospital!

(A few minutes of walking pass and we arrive at the hospital. There are a lot of Pokémon being treated for various injuries, including other doctors. Speaking of whom, the Chansey is being attended to by a pair of Audino right there in the entrance hall in front of us.)

...and the next thing I knew, I was in front of the deli shop feeling like I fell down a cliff. I don't remember anything that happened! I think I had a dream where I was a Dusknoir pushing people around, but I couldn't tell you why that was... (the two Audino are visibly getting bored by how chatty the Chansey currently is.)

(I notice Marsha and Delilah being checked out by other doctors right beside the Chansey (I guess just in case), and then I notice Serris talking to a Lucario I don't recognize (since I was asleep when he first came in) in front of the smashed reception desk.)

Serris! Long time no see! (I comment.)

"Alright, steady at it now..."

we arrive.

"We have two injured, myself and our friend, but she is clearly in much rougher shape than I am." I say to the nearest nurse.

"AH YES, that classic comment from that one video game I was never especially fond of... it has indeed been a long time since there was any seeing occurring between USSSS... Goobert!" Serris says, perking his head up but without much change in expression. It's around this time that he notices that the Chansey has come back, too.

"Excuse me, miss!" he says, addressing her, "Who here has the authority to let me attend a visit in this esteemed place of healing?"

I'm not hurt, but I am definitely exhausted. "Guys… wait up…" I wheeze out before falling down. (I don't think I can sleep, but… I can use a break.)

*Jani wanders out of the Ground wing with a couple machines still attached to her, and finds her way to the reception desk, which is toppled over and broken in two* Serris? You're back...? Why am I in an empty hospital?

*meanwhile, Voxno-! (offscreen shift) reassures the Chansey as she gets taken to the hospital*

Hang in there lady!! We'll make sure you get all patched up!

Normally I would, honey, but I'm kind of...mmf!...incapacitated at the moment. (And no one will still tell me why.) (the Chansey tells Serris) At this point, I think you can-OOOH! I think you can ask just about anyone, but I expect that visiting hours are severely limited with how crowded we are today. Who are you interested in seeing?

I sweep around the room to notice a Serperior.

"Oh? We haven't seemed to have met before. Name's Marlon."

Having dropped off Cyk, she looks at the other two, the at Niles outside. Can you two hold her for a second? There's someone else I need to help."
