"Best a' luck. Ah've gotta stay here ta handle other guild business, but ah'm sure you'll be able ta find more help on Denalsi if'n ya need it."

Koss waves to the humanmons as they exit, a courteous smile on his face at least until the mons have filed out of the building. Outside, meanwhile, Autumn and Mila seem to have finally finished their conversation and turn to face the rest of their companions.

"So, is there anything you all need to wrap up before we head out?"

"This shouldn't be too dangerous, I hope. I don't want to regret coming with you for this again."

"It won't be, I promise. Anyways, we could use your help trying to talk to Lucifuge, we're not exactly the most... charming bunch."

"And I am?"

"Of course you are! What, you think I'm going to say my girlfriend isn't?"

"Aww, Mila, not now!"

I need to update these things more often

As Seth slowly follows the party, it should be clear for all to see he's still completely and utterly out of it. He swivels his head to track the sound of voices, responding more to the noise itself than to any understanding of the words - he's given up on that for now. It's too much, it's all far too much.

Actually, for me, it's more something I want to say rather than do. For as much as I'd like to join you guys on this I think I still need a bit more time to recover. The hospital did a good enough job in helping me, but I'm not sure how this'll handle getting back into the things that we do again so soon out of the hospital...you know?

Her little joke gets a chuckle out of me and I tap my chin with my paw inquisitively. "Hmmm…" It sure would be interesting if she was in the guard, too. But I don't think I'd actually want that… and I doubt she really does either. "Honestly, I have no idea. Though, if you decide to go off with everyone and try to 'fight VA for the greater good!' or whatever, then that's okay."

She...huh. I've been kind of suspecting that she wasn't feeling as happy as she usually does for a while but it's still surprising to see this come to the surface now. Well, I guess this kind of changes things.

Well, I mean...yeah, I've been suspecting that for a while. Good thing that you'd be with me while I get the extra time to recover further. So...guys, do you all understand where I'm coming from? Where she's coming from, too?

Suddenly, a Gardevoir would walk in, looking around with confusion. "Where... Where exactly am I?"

That's new. Braixen is still trying to process the information she's just had shoved down her throat- they're travelling? Again? To hunt down some guy? They just docked in port a week ago! She's still not over that guild's completely ineffective business model that led to this whole debacle in the first place.

Then she notices the gardevoir, walking around like they don't have any clue like the seven W's are, and she draws her attention away from the others' conversation to focus on that. That looks familiar. A bit too familiar.

"...You guys?" she asks. "Who's that?"

"Speak from your heart. Say the things you know to be true." ~ 'Head' Baltar

The Gardevoir looks over at them, seeing the Braixen looking at her. "...did I do something wrong?"

Outside the Guild Office

As attention is drawn to the confused Gardevoir, the bespectacled Absol turns to focus his gaze on her. He's still very unfocused, and his glazed expression proves at much, but even in this state he can tell what a disoriented, lost new arrival like this probably indicates.

"...another one?" Seth murmurs to himself, barely audibly.

(I’m scarcely able to comprehend Marlon and Marsha’s plans to bow out of our next little misadventure before a Gardevoir acting completely lost comes up to us.) Oh, uh, hi. You’re in Foxfell, and you haven’t done anything wrong.

(Given how they’re acting, I have a sneaking suspicion that they’re like us, however, and the reactions I see from Seth and that other Braixen (whose name I still haven’t learned) so far shows that I’m not alone in that regard.)

"Good to know... Who're you all?" The Gardevoir would ask.

(Listening to the Swampert and Gallade, it makes sense. No sense in risking another injury all for some search.) You can opt out if you want to. No one's going to force you into it.

(Before too long, we ran into a Gardevoir, looking lost. Could they be one of us? When they asked who we are, I replied.) We're a part of a guild. Call me Grigori.

(I think we are. Again, having a name for our group would be helpful. Oh well, it's not that important.)

That's exactly the point. I am just taking this out of precaution to make sure that I'm completely physically stable before I get back to adventuring. Trust me, I don't want to do this, but for my own health it's better.

Any sense of focus is broken in a snap when..Aw shit, don't tell me Cyk came back—no, probably not Cyk. This Gardevoir seems new...another one of us?

[I have to laugh a little at the schadenfreude of someone new having just appeared right outside the center. Hi, hello, everything's fine, come with us to get some money! It'd be comical if it didn't look like she's taking this about as well as I did. In the window, I see a Spinda looking out at the Gardevoir before running off to Burgis' office...a congregation of us out here, I sure as hell hope we're not stirring up much of a fuss. Turning back to the group, I see Seth looking...out of it, I guess. Speaking of fresh faces, he's pretty new too, ain't he? While the others go accommodate the newbie, I mosey my way over to the Absol and give him a little nod for his attention.]

"O-Oh, right... I'm Allora. I... didn't expect to wake up and find a bunch of Pokemon, though, so I can't tell if I'm on drugs or not..."

"I'm Royal" said the Raboot with the androgynous face and voice, "Nice to meet you, uh, Allora. Yeah, it's weird, I'm just getting used to it myself."

No. None of this is fake. This is all very real.We started out just like you. We've seen a lot that you wouldn't quickly be able to comprehend immediately, Allora, but just know you're with the right people.

Seth stares at Eliot, still in a state of utter blank-faced disassociation. He tries for a moment to come up with a meaningful conversation starter, but he's still too out of it, nothing comes to mind. He'll let the currently-Inteleon speak first; maybe whatever he has to say will make some of Seth's brain cells work again.

You turned out as a Gardevoir. We had one just like you, before, but we haven't seen her for weeks.

I tell Allora before looking back to the others.

Now, are we all squared away? Guess we should be on our way to the docks. We'll take the boat back to Denalsi with you guys but after that the two of us are gonna head back to Silversand. Once you guys finish with this guy and his assignments just come back to Silversand and get us, alright?

Ya know, Dinah, Lucy, and I were goin' straight back to Silversand anyway. (Benji says to Marlon.) You and Marsha could just ride with us back if the rest of you fellas aren't goin' there, just sayin'.

(I find myself feeling confused because I was under the impression that we were all going to Silversand anyway so we could get to the Bedsheets or wherever Lucifuge is faster. Why is Marlon acting like we aren't? Or am I just being ridiculous? I hope I don't regret asking what I'm about to ask:)

Wait, I thought all of us were going to Silversand anyway? Don't we need to go there to get close to the Bedsheets? (I ask.)
