I turn to Wrench, confused. "Hm? Whaddya mean, exactly?"

I think I know exactly what he means, and that terrifies me, but he doesn't need to know that.

Yeah, it figures that our neural systems would be remapped to fit our newfound physiological structures. Not really used to having six limbs counting these wings, but even I'm surprised by how easily I've gotten used to them. Really, the only thing that bugs me is how tiny I am compared to everyone else.

*I realize the true nature of what I just said.*

*Another realization pops into my head after thinking about the word bug, this one much less pleasant. I stop and just hover in place as a sudden shock spreads itself across my face.*

The Litten, meanwhile, hasn't been paying too much attention to whatever the others are talking about, as it's been too busy licking its crotch.

Too late for a new arrival?

A bolt of lightning comes down nearby, with a loud crack.

"Augh! What was that? Did lightning just stike my tail?"

"... My ... tail? What is wrong with me!"

A slightly singed Raichu pops out from behind a tree, having been rudely awoken from its nap and very confused about its current state of being.

The Litten looks up, slightly annoyed at the interruption of its crotch-licking

"oh hey whats up"

"welcome to the club, whats your name"

"Oh, are you the new guy that PJ found?" I approach the Raichu carefully.

"Hello there. What's your name?"

"I... don't think so. I was just sleeping when a lightning bolt hit me. Also, I definitely used to be a person, so this is freaking me out right now. How am I so... short?"

The Raichu lifts up a paw, looks at it, looks down, and sighs.

"Well, this is going to take some getting used to. Oh, name. I guess using my old one wouldn't work any more, so call me Mila I guess."

"Wait a minute, I'm a girl now too? What?!"

The Litten starts to lick its paw, but then stops mid lick, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh? I don't think that's happened to any of us, has it?"

Mila is now holding her tail in her paws, panicked but still keeping some level of composure.

"Yeah, and a guy too. So did this happen to you people as well? I'm sorry, I guess I shouldn't be the only one freaking out and at the center of attention."

As the Raichu shakes, small sparks of electricity appear around her cheeks.

"I think I might need to sleep a bit more until I'm less panicky."

"Hello Milla. Welcome to-Wait a minute. You changed genders during the transformation?"

I float back down and eye the new arrival.

"Greetings."

"This is interesting. You're the first of us to not have arrived in the building over there. Is it possible this... phenomena, shall we say, is following us?"

The Litten starts pacing slowly around the Raichu, but keeping a safe distance.

"That's interesting, isn't it? As far as I know, you're the only one who's undergone this kind of change. Something about you must be different....... An anomaly.........."

I chose Archeops.

*Thud from behind the group* Hey, what is this? Where am I?

A pair of curious eyes turn to the newcomer.

"Jesus, how many people is this happening to??"

This one's not the Pokemon I found before either. I'm judging by your current reaction that you're another former human? That brings us up to what, 18? 19? Damn, there's a lot of us now.
