After hearing out more plans I bring up another point. Since we want to create a diversion, then have groups slip in maybe?

Well, good idea, then. Any idea of how we should perhaps split the possible groups up, for after doing the diversion, to then break into the manor itself? Perhaps the three of us lead groups since we can easily break down walls with fighting-type moves?

Marsha also looks over, seemingly curious about the TM scrolls that Arsene had.

Well, there are four of these here, do you think you'd be able to learn one of them? Except the most obvious one...

I say, specifically eyeing up the Swords Dance TM Scroll. I then look over toward Arsene.

Can that be used over and over again?

Kevin seems (justifiably) very confused as to how Eliot apparently doesn't even know him. Kevin does know that Eliot likes taking forms, but how would he not know who Kevin is?

Kevin? The guy trying to find the Teddiursa kid? Does that ring a bell?

(Arsene replied to the Gallade.) Haven't used one of these in a long while, but I do remember them being used multiple times. Have at it as long as you know how to share.

(I looked on as one of the group below thought about leaving to get the little guy some food. I think I might have to stay within range, not to far as to dispel it or too close for an attack. At least, I think that's how it works. As long as he doesn't move unless he has to.)

(Considering the distance between them and the Shack, Eliza spoke to the group.) I think it would be better to take him with us, since we have to go there anyways. Yet, I'm not sure what would happen if we try. (She thought about taking him there, but considering the Typing between the two, that would not get her far. She looked to the others, most notably the Infernape.)

"I suppose that would be the best idea for now, although that does sound riskier if he manages to escape", said Noriaki.

"I could carry him with Psychic, if necessary", said Montresor.

[Tom's Food Stand]

"It's basically a move that poisons and only poisons", Nephenee explained to Dinah, "Toxic Poison isn't the same, though. It constantly gets more painful the longer your target has it on them."

"I think it might be better if we make the front and back the two biggest groups, with a small squad flanking from the sides and an even smaller squad if not me by myself seeing about going in from the air", Achilles explained, "The front and back don't need the element of surprise nearly as much, and managing a big group coming in from the side or above would be much harder for us, I feel."

Becchel (Around Niles)

Agreed, Psychic may be the most painless way to carry him. If not though, then I suppose I am the best equipped to physically carry him without injury. (Gene says)

Becchel (Tom's)

(Marsha turns to Marlon.) Well, whatcha waitin' for? (Marsha says. She looks back to Arsene.) Mind if I used any of dose, too?

I see... (I tell Nephenee. The idea of poisoning another Pokémon makes me feel mildly uncomfortable, but...given the circumstances, that may be what has to be done in order to survive a battle with L'Arachel and her minions. I shouldn't pass up any potential opportunity to better ensure our survival, and perhaps I could teach it to Lucy when we're back together again, assuming Benji hasn't already done so. I just hope I don't end up actually accidentally killing somebody with it...)

I should definitely learn it. (I say.) I'm sure we all need all the moves we can get if we want to survive this and stop L'Arachel...

So two groups to attack the front and back, a small group to face the side, and one by air? Well, if I could aid in forming up a group to take on the side as you guys say, then that'll be great. I've found recently that head on attacking doesn't exactly work well for me anymore..you think we should ask the others to see what they think of this plan?

I ask, obliging to take the Swords Dance scroll. After cracking it open, I see this is how I interpret it a rather fascinating illustration of what's roughly the animation from Sun and Moon of the move, split into three seperate drawings labeled with numbers. I still don't exactly get it, and look over at Arsene again.

What exactly am I looking at, an instruction manual?

Sandalhelm notes of the Raichu's lack of trust for the Noctowl, then eyes him curiously. "You're a psychic now...how helpful." He asides to his fellow guard, "Quite like our own friend, yes?"

   "Yes,"    she replies, cracking a slight smile,    I've told the Noctowl of him, but it's not important."    She looks to Montresor.    "You can carry him—"    She gives a nod to Gene, then directs her attention towards the entire rest of the group.    "—and I assume I needn't to worry about the lot of you giving him proper supervision."   

Arriving at the stand, Woodruff sees Koss sit by Autumn. Noticing Kevin with Eliot, he decides to go over towards him instead.

"Right, right, right, yea..." I scarf down the last of my meal, then lean back in my seat.

"Kev. Eliot." Woodruff takes his seat, his stomach growling a little as he waits for his food. "So El, when are ya gonna talk to Koss about this memory thing?"

"Soon, I guess," I reply. I slump forward, resting my hands inside my shawl. "Somethin' the matter?" I shake my head; it still feels like some perversion, though, this small crossing of forms. What it means I don't know, and if I find out, I'm gonna squelch it out. ...though, I wonder if I could just squelch it out right now with a quick change. Actually, why have I been fretting about it when I could just do that? Come on, man, you're supposed to be decisive and efficient about these things.

Woodruff leans forward a little and gives Kev a look as if to say "something's the matter, isn't it."

Becchel, Streets

So those two were to blame. Mila doesn't comment as they prepare to move off with Niles, but there's some resentment stored in her heart. Sure, they seemed willing to help now, but was she really supposed to buy their story that they were completely under L'arachel's control until they just felt enough emotion to break free? Mila shakes her head, maybe it's the hunger talking. She doesn't move, however, and sticks next to Niles. If emotion will help, she'll do her damnedest.

"Let's get going, then."

Koss notices Autumn stop eating as the discussion nearby turns to T Ms and battle plans. He continues for a bit himself, at least until his current pancake is devoured. He recalls that Autumn wasn't one for fighting, but something seems particularly the matter for her.

"Y'wanna talk 'bout it?"

"No, not really. I'd rather sulk, it does less harm."

Koss raises an eyebrow, but leans back and gives Autumn some space. He at least knows better than to push matters like this. Only took him several failures and burned bridges to figure that one out.

"Right! Going!" Whitney turns to Nyquil, smug. "Now ya done it, you doofus."

[Becchel Streets]

"Very well, then", said Montresor, picking up Nyquil with Psychic.

With that, the Noctowl, Bisharp, and Decidueye began heading to the food stand with the Quilava in tow.

[Tom's Food Stand]

"Let's go get it, then", said Nephenee, going over to the scrolls and opening the one containing Toxic.

"Hm... Says something about focusing toxins and spewing them out in a concentrated form", the Scolipede explained, "For me it sounds easy, but I'm not sure how to put it for you lot that don't produce your own poison."

"I once met someone who was telling me that they think every living thing is made from poison", said Gerome, approaching in interest of the same scroll, "And that medicine in itself is just "the right kind of poison" that the poison in us reacts to in just the right way. Basically, I think that idea might be why so many non-Poison mons can learn Toxic so easy. Just apply yourself to learning it the same way we do, lady."

"Yeah, we definitely should", said Achilles before following to see the Swords Dance scroll, "I think that there's a case of personal focus. Whether it's that, an actual dance with what you consider to be your weapons, or a bit of both, I think that's how Swords Dance works."

All right. (Gene nods, following the others as they begin carrying Niles to the food stand.)

All right... (I personally have never heard of such a theory, but I suppose I can mull over it at a later time. For now, I just need to focus on learning that move, however a Krokorok like myself is supposed to do it.)

(I study the scroll intently for a moment. Not knowing what else to do, I simply rest my hands on my stomach and try to focus on building up energy there. That's how Goobert uses Sludge Wave, isn't it? Building up the energy down there? Does it even come from my stomach?)

What is she doin'? (The Venusaur asks. I try to ignore her and the others as I try-...wait, I feel my stomach churning. I hope that's me about to use the move and not me about to vomit...)

(All at once, I suddenly feel myself hiccup violently, and some sort of purplish colored liquid spills from my mouth and onto the ground. I feel a bit disgusted knowing that just came from me...)

Oh, disgusting! (I say before I can stop myself. Real professional reaction to what you just did, Dinah...) Um...did I do it correctly? (I ask the others.)

Well, I'd say dat da second thing would be really easy for Marly ta do. (Marsha remarks to Achilles.) Guess I'd just do da first thing...assumin' I can even use dat in da first place.

Finishing off my food, I set the plate aside and focus in on observing the scroll about as intently as I can. Making sure that Achilles, Marsha, Arsene, and any others would want to observe, I close my eyes momentarily. Upon reopening them my arm starts to shake, and a sword manifesting itself from psychic energy drops into the open arm. I toss up the "sword", catch it, twirl it, and point it outward, before the energy fades.

H-huh? Did I do it right?

Kevin nods. Something definitely is wrong here, and...

I really don't know what is wrong with him, I went up to him and he didn't even know my name.. speaking of names I think I see the others finally coming in and...why do they have Niles with them?

Indeed, as Kevin focuses in more he can in fact see Mila, Noriaki, Grigs, and others hauling Niles into the stand..

He’s lifted and carried to the rest of the group. Scanning his surroundings, he sees some of them inspecting a handful of TMs. Perhaps he can snag some as he tries to escape and rob them of any additional tricks up their sleeves… Looking over, he sees the food stand. Despite his hunger, he considers sabotaging it somehow, depriving the rest of the group of sustenance. However, he won’t be able to effectively carry out either plan if he can’t break away from these shackles…

(Zelda couldn't help but wince as she witnessed the Krokorok barf out a purple liquid after she got her hands on the Toxic TM.) Yeeeah, you definitely need more work on it. Still, you didn't choke on it, so that's an accomplishment.

(Arsene meanwhile had his attention turned to the Gallade attempting to perform Swords Dance. While the illusory sword did appear as the scroll told, he replied to the younger Pokémon.) I guess the only way to really find out is hitting something as hard as you can.

(As Claude looked on at the Gallade's use of Swords Dance, he almost felt nostalgic. It has been a while since he learned Swords Dance, he mused, ever since he was but a little Honedge. He nods his hilt, showing his approval of the dance.)

Approaching the Food Stand

(As we drew closer, I noticed Marlon performing some sort of trick with a sword and wondered about that scroll I looked at earlier. So I just imagine a sword in my hand, twirl it around a bit, and then my attacks do more damage? As long as it works, I guess.)

(Eliza couldn't help but feel like Mila was somewhat right. It all seems too convenient that two loyal servants suddenly turned on their "queen" all because of a duel between one of them. Sure, she might not know the history behind them, but she felt as though this might all be a ploy. Still, there's no use in causing an argument, especially with the puppet Quilava in tow.)

[Tom's Food Stand]

"I think you've got it, Dinah", said Nephenee, "Juuust needs a bit of tweaking in making it more able to be launched... Also, I'd be careful practicing that, you're not naturally immune to poison like I am."

Nephenee produces an orb of purple liquid that slowly fall forward and becomes a puddle on the floor before vanishing within a few seconds.

"Hehe, tha- AH!"

Nephenee was hit on the side of her face with a purple liquid herself. She turned around and glared at Gerome, who had that same liquid dripping from the spines on his back.

"What the hell, dude?!", the Scolipede growled.

"... Sorry about that, just that you're immune to Toxic", the officer explained, "[purple:And launching it from the spines is less... Loose and free form than just spewing it out. I didn't want to accidentally poison someone here.]]"

"Still! Just...! Ugh, forget it."

Nephenee pulled out a napkin and wiped the Toxic off of her face.

"I think I totally got that", said Hector, smashing his fists together as sword-shaped auras came off of his arms, "Ohhhhh yeah. I know the feeling of power building in my muscles all too well, don't even need to test this."

Achilles followed suit and clamped his pincers together rhythmically as a similar aura surrounded him.

"Hm... Yep, that's it."

As he and his companions came in to view, Noriaki called, "Hello, we have returned. We bring Nyquil with us as we have noticed that he hungers."

"He is restrained, do not worry", Montresor explained, his eyes glowing as his Psychic still lifts the Quilava.

"I see you have all become familiar with the scrolls already", Notte commented.

Looked good ta me! Dat was pretty cool. (Marsha says.)

(She glances over at Arsene.) Uh...dair a good fence post around heres or a rock or somethin'?

...Or maybe we should hold it? (Marsha says upon noticing Grigori and the others arriving at the food stand with Nyquil in tow.)

Oh, of course... (I say to Nephenee. I hope that I can make sure I can get this down pat before we face L'Arachel or before I end up accidentally poisoning myself like Delilah told me happened to Goobert after he learned Sludge Wave. I hope that doesn't happen to Lucy if and when I try to teach her this. I can't help but chuckle a bit when Gerome suddenly soaks Nephenee with a Toxic of his own.)

Should I try...again? (I start to say when I see Montresor and the others arriving...with Nyquil?)

Oh...you have Niles? How is he? (I ask them, specifically Mila. I know she must be concerned about him...I don't dare approach him, though.)

(Finally, we're done eating and head out of Pappa's.)

So...to the police station, then? (I ask.)

Sim. (Mia says affirmatively as she begins leading us there.)

Bonne chance! (I hear Sunny call after us as she, Maran, and Cortez head off to do their own thing.)

(And we arrive at the police station just in time to see Taylor A sitting with an Amoonguss cop I don't recognize and a Trevenant who...looks confused or worried, I guess? It's hard to tell given their faces...)

...This a bad time, mateys? (Rich asks.)

Who's this? (Mia asks, gesturing at the Trevenant.) A new suspect?

(The Amoonguss seems to be looking awkwardly between us, the Trevenant, and Taylor A.)

Well, we could always ask the hosts if they've got anything since we do seem that were done eating.

And it's at this moment the other group comes walking back in, with Niles in tow.

Uh, you could say that we have, yeah...we're trying to make use of Swords Dance.

It's also here I notice our hosts getting together what seems to be a private chat..

Tom, dear, may we speak in private for a moment?

Um...we're not about to serve that Quilava, are we? Were you not just informed that he was the reason that the poor Vulpix yelled out like that, and caused that ruckus?

I mean, yeah, that Blastoise guy told me as such but still...he is another customer! I mean, Lin, this is our most customers in at once. Isn't that enough?

You...could say that, dear, but I can't help but feel as though I've...seen this all before.

What do you mean?

Linda motions for the two boys to fetch some more food for the remaining group. They go along doing so, setting any remaining tables needed for them to sit at, and placing the food as so (and in tables already occupied by others.)

I listened to Gerome's story about meeting a guy who had this theory.

It's pretty interesting if I think about it. More surprising is the fact if that theory would be true, that would mean that even Inanimate Object Pokémon like me could have hidden, dormant poison circulating in our body.

Man, the Pokémon World is so bizarre, yet fascinating.

Then the Krokorok decided to "learn" Toxic.

...and she vomited the move.

I was pretty awed at it...and a little disgusted from it.

Then the Scolipede and Gerome used Toxic.

   Ooooh!   , I went closer to the puddle of Toxic liquid and dipped an arm in it.

   Interesting...   , I commented.

Tom's Food Shack

(After I finished my breakfast, I wondered how I could do it. Then, I stood up and pulled out my Leaf Blades. Looking at them, I crossed them over, like a whetstone to a dulled sword. After a few swipes, I noticed that spikes were forming at the edge, almost like a saw. As soon as I thought that, they started to move on their own towards the tip, but as soon as the spikes reach there, they vanish. Simultaneously, new spikes form from the wing, replacing the ones lost. Apparently I have energy chainsaws now, except less louder. Only fitting for some psycho like me to come up with something like that.)

(Claude nodded as he saw the others perform their own version of Swords Dance. When the subject of finding something to practice on was brought up, he spoke to the group.)    I'll find us a training ground.    (With that, he made his way out to look for a place to practice. Zelda soon followed, though not with the same intention.)

(Arsene was about to say something to the Swampert before the Aegislash left the shack. Internally, he sighed at the sword Pokémon's insistence of training. Then, he talked to her.) I was about to say that we don't have time to wait, but apparently some of us think so.

(Eliza continued to look at the Quilava, concerned about what will happen when they all get to the castle. What sort of things she has planned, she had no idea. Regardless, she'll have to face it head on, like she always does. Just like how mother always does.)

Oh, he's gonna say that right in my ear, like me not remembering his name in a sea of randos flooding into our numbers is somehow some grave insult. Whatever, I don't say anything about that and instead look over when he says Niles over here.

"Ah, didn't know he could do that," Woodruff muses about Montresor, before answering Kevin: "We were gonna restrain him 'n leave him there, but I suppose they changed their mind about that."

"Say, Woodruff," I pipe in.

"...yea?" "What are those scrolls? It...those aren't TMs, are they?"

Woodruff looks a little surprised. "Y-yea, they are." How did he know that if...one day, he's gonna get more out of someone about that "other world" thing.

The Neyad sits down beside the Quilava, watching at the others experiment with the tame scrolls. She keeps him in her periphery, though, just in case the Shackle fails or he tries to break free.

Sandalhelm oohs and ahhs at the tame scrolls. "Those can't be..." He looks to Arsene. "Could I see these? I won't be traveling with your group, mind, I have my...job, but this is a rare opportunity!"

Blissparce, The Police Station

"Oh!" Those guys! They're back! "Hey!"

Taylor A then points to Mia and Tiff. "You two! You're gonna love this!" She gestures to beckon them over.

Nyquil stares at the group learning new moves and frowns. More things he has to watch for later… However, his attention is caught by Grigori and his Leaf Blade chainsaw. The Quilava stares at the blade for a couple seconds before looking down at his paws. His left paw begins to glow with energy…

Realizing that the Aegislash is suddenly bolting off to find a training group I attempt to reel him back in. If he'd pay attention his mind, however it'd be received, he'd feel a rapid ping coming from my direction after the first words. Matter of fact, those closest to me might feel the ping as well (such as Marsha, Grigs, Dinah, Gerome and the beetles, all of whom have attempted to learn new moves.)

Hey, wait a second! Just willingly using new moves with him around isn't the best idea, because he's gonna have much the more reason to observe what we're doing, and once he escapes he'll tell his "lady" and it'll be that much harder to stop her. Besides, we really don't have much time to just idly train.

Oh, well...he's not about to pull any other shit, is he?

Kevin says to Woodruff before casting a wayward glance over to the scrolls as he downs a few more bites, making an idle statement.

I think I'd be able to make do with Rain Dance maybe...or I could find a Mystic Water necklace around or something. I don't exactly need to boost my moves up or anything..ironic since I got the scroll myself...

Granted, Kevin isn't a battler. His whole purpose of even being here is to find that kid. However he can't help but see Niles' paw begin to glow...

Instead of telling the story, Linda recognizes exactly what's happening.

Tom, it's Viral Aggression! L'Arachel has it I believe. My supervisor back at the old hospital tried to figure it out but...he never could.

What's that got to do with us?

These mons..I swear I've seen them pop up from time to time in the papers...actually stopping the spread...

Linda looks toward the group, wondering if she should write to her old supervisor...

I decided to use my telekinesis to shape the Toxic liquid in front of me into a ball.

And then I started playing with it.

   But this is MORE awesome!!   , I said, boisterously.

(After receiving the ping, the Aegislash stopped. Soon, he heard his ward's voice.) I understand you're eager to show off, but this is not the time for that. Right now, we've got a bigger issue on our hands and if we just use up our time training, she'll be right on top of us.

(Almost immediately, he bowed his head.)    My apologies. I thought that we could be quick about it, but I was a fool. Forgive my rash decision.   

(Zelda replied back.) Yeah. I forgive you, but try not to do that again.

(The two rejoined the group as the old kelp replied to the swan.) Fine, just don't take too long.

(I still kept my focus on the blades, knowing that whatever gets hit by it won't have a good day. And the fact that I only used it once made it tempting to try it again, but I might just do it on the go. I looked at Rainmaker's "buddy" and remarked to myself. That's the only friend he's getting here, that's for sure. Whether I wanted to or not, the Shackles on Niles started to fade and thus, the grip on him loosened somewhat. My focus is diverted to other things, weakening the bond.)

(After finishing the breakfast, Eliza looked to the group and see that, for the most part, they seem raring to go. She stood up and asked the group.) Has anyone come up with a plan yet?

(I freeze upon hearing Marlon. Well...so much for mastering this move right now. I guess I could have more time later, though?)

Drat... (Marsha sighs, having picked up on Marlon’s ping as well.)

We were discussing how we’re going to go around storming the mansion. (Cole says.) We were going to s-

(Gene quickly springs up and slaps a hand over Cole’s mouth.) Not in front of the Quilava... (Gene warns him.)

(Cole lets out a muffled apology.)

Why’s that? (Mia asks, a bit confused.) Does this Trevenant know anything about the murders?

You could say that... (The Amoonguss says. He slides the paper over to us. As he does so, I notice the Trevenant is staring at us quite intently. What are they looking at...?)

(Looking down at the paper, Mia, Rich, and I see a few crude drawings of what appears to be the faces of the Dos Santos family.)

Looks like you and yer family. (Rich comments to the siblings.)

Sim... (Mia says, looking up at Taylor A, the Ammoonguss, and the Trevenant.) What’s going on here?

Achilles clears his throat and says, "'''Yeah, we do have a plan. But we can't exactly say it safely just now."

Noriaki is eating his pancakes somewhat quickly, but certainly not stuffing his face.

"I simply require sustenance, I will be prepared shortly."

Notte pushes a plate near Nyquil and asks, "Who here is going to feed him?"
