"O-Oh, yes of course, I'll d-do my best", Tomoko stuttered as she reached out and pulled a lamp closer to herself, "W-Whenever you're all ready, I'll be out by where you entered th-the ruins from."

The stalwart Mimikyu scurried away in that direction.

"Well then, seems we have our guide", said Noriaki before going over to what Philly was trying to show.

"Hope she doesn't get us lost even though she clearly means well...", Nephenee mumbled.

"There were more of your ranks, weren't there?", Gerome asked, "I think it'd be better if we meet with them again before heading straight to this L'Arachel's place. Speaking of..."

Those outside should see a cloaked Pinsir and Heracross in the distance, familiar to some of the group.

Meanwhile, in the skies above Harnicaria, a Drifloon approaches the affluent city.

Returning from the battle at the ruins, tired and sans two men, L'Arachel and Yukari had long since gone to more private quarters for the time being, intending to be open for discussing what comes next later.

For now, Bombax simply stood still in the kitchen, as if waiting for time to pass by. Perhaps he was ruminating about something in his mind...

Zelgius was simply out on a small balcony, watching the sky. He sighed to himself.

Oof, I hope we don't either. We've been through enough today as it is... (I comment to Nephenee as we start off after Tomoko. I look over in Phillip's direction. What exactly does he have?)

So whatcha got, Phil? (Marsha asks Philly.) It's somethin' ya can bring along with us, right? I'm guessin' we need ta hurry.

(When the Bronzong launched a Confuse Ray at us, as a demonstration, I covered my eyes as fast as I could. After I heard that the ray is out of reach, I lowered my wings to see most of us are unaffected, but some weren't so lucky. I looked around to see the Aegislash float around dizzily before regaining his bearings. The Togekiss responded to Rainmaker.) Mayyybe focus on slamming into them. I mean, you're a big bell, you could deal some damage.

(The old Dragalge responded to the comments.) I believe we have enough for the battle ahead. We'll regroup with Achilles as soon as we can. (As if on cue, he looked at the approaching Pinsir with a certain Heracross. Arsene could only hope that the latter behaves himself this time.)

(Meanwhile, my attention's being pulled towards a purple balloon and I wondered what's happening. That is until I looked at it further to find that it's a Drifloon. Must be a visitor.)

Nyquil is taken back to the mansion. He has a moderately noticeable wound from Nephenee, but it's nothing bothersome. However, that negligible pain is nothing compared to the frustration that's plaguing him. Those two, despite their actions the night before, were still able to desert with little to no cost. It was only after watching the others disperse that he realized his outward demeanor. He was unconsciously grinding his teeth and his paws were trembling. He closed his eyes and attempted to calm down, deciding to head outside to clear his mind. There, he found Zelgius.    "What brings you out here?"

Róisín and Philo had been distracted by the wares on offer in the store, so they take a little while longer than everyone else to emerge. They're just in time to avoid looking right into Rainmaker's Confuse Ray, though they definitely witness the aftermath. Rainmaker will this see an Alolan Ninetales glancing back and forth with a look of genuine, natural confusion on his face.

"Dare I ask what happened here?"

Beside him, there is a Roserade who doesn't give a shit.

   Hey! Do not think I am nuts, I am Rainmaker, The Rain Emissary! Do not think you can mess with me, unless you want your retinas to be burned by my Confuse Ray   , I said to the Lucario and the two nutjobs on his side.

   No, Pixis. The Bronzong got below average physical attack, I can't really do shit with this bell body of mine, but maybe with a Heavy Slam, I could dish out some damage if they're lighter and more fragile than me.   , I said to Zelda Pixis.

   HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Let me tell you, Frosty, I came in this city, I met those guys and I blinded half of them with my Confuse Ray, and then it seems there could be other visitors   , I said to the confused Alolan Ninetales and the nonchalant Roserade as my eyes stare deeply at the Heracross and Pinsir and the Drifloon.

   Quick, hide your children, that Drifloon is going to kidnap them if you don't do anything.   , I joked.

Once Kevin actually spills outside with the others he too observes the Drifloon. Noting how...unaware Rainmaker truly is to how things work he turns around.

Whatever you do, do not do anything to that Drifloon. I think it probably has something from the others telling us where we need to go next...

He takes a few steps ahead in an attempt to start waving the Drifloon down.

The Taylors are right. I still want to find Izzy's killer, same as you, but look what we did today. We found one of the killers, and we know now that there are in fact multiple. We'll have a whole day to hunt Izzy's killer down tomorrow!

The Roserade's expression becomes even more intensely droll. She turns to the Ninetales and speaks to him (Rainmaker will notice her heavy Irish accent).

"Well, this one is completely off his nut. What do we do?"

The Ninetales has the strained smile of someone whose desire to introduce himself on good terms is clashing with the part of him that wants to be quite far away from a seemingly completely insane Bronzong.

"W-well, ah... it's a pleasure to meet you, Rainmaker! I am Philo, and my Roserade companion is Róisín!"

(Marsha just looks confused at Phil's invention, but nods.) Interestin', Philly. Uh...I think I might take too much room in dat thing, though.

I think I may just walk, too, Phillip, but thank you for offering. (I tell Phillip after seeing his...very odd contraption that he built. It does look fairly well-put together, but...)

No...I didn't want to believe what they told us... (Amy says, sitting down and staring at Ramona.) Oh, Ramona...

Uh...ma'am, I wouldn't think you'd be upset over us puttin' away this scalawag. (Rich says.)

(Amy gives Rich a very stern look. Man, if looks could make Pokémon faint...)

(I couldn't help but glare at the Bronzong for that remark about the Drifloon. I'm pretty sure that remark is somewhat racist, but I decided to let that slide due to him probably being ignorant. As it turns out, someone else decided to say it to him, namely that old seaweed.) I get that you're new here or whatever, but I'd prefer if you didn't say things like that. Some people are gonna get the wrong impression.

(The Togekiss insisted to the bell, with some weariness in her voice.) Call me Zelda.

"Why is everyone questioning my sanity?", I thought while I was staring at them with, pouting.

A thought crosses Mila's mind and exits out of her mouth before she can decide whether or not it was a good choice. Seeing the Bronzong's reactions, it does make her curious. After all, the mon doesn't exactly have an easy visual cue telling how old they are.

"Hey... how old w— are you, Rainmaker?"

   Did you just ask how old am I? Hahahahahahahahahahahah! Mila, I am long lived. In fact I lived for ten million Rain Emissary years!   , I said to curious Raichu.    Ten million Rain Emissary years translate...to 19 common years...   , I said, embarassed.

My attention turns from the Drifloon to the cart. I'm not feeling particularly tired myself, and I don't know what his goal is with naming it after Earth stuff, but nonetheless, I take up his offer and sit in the cart. Getting into it, I remind myself that I'm still bigger than normal...I'll probably shrink back down to normal as we're heading off and just rest until we're there.

I ask the Electrode "When did you get that...thing you're wearing...uhh...what's your name?" Apparently, it hasn't occurred to me I've asked Philly this before.

For now, Woodruff just watches this new arrival fumble about...his head and his vision are starting to clear up. He gives it one final shake, just in time to catch Rainmaker's remark about his age. "You're only nineteen," he says, mostly to himself, "he ain't much older than I am."

He tries pushing himself off of Mila so he can stand up on his own, though not too much so he doesn't end up pushing her over. "So...are you...all from the same world? I think I heard stories about...people comin' over from other world, but if it's all of ya, then...yea, probably better to keep off this 'till after we get through this."

Blissparce, To the Police Station

Taylor A looks over to Mia. "Oh, I don't mind! Not one bit! In our eyes, you guys are still Junior Investigators!"

"I-if we're getting a b-break," Taylor B reasons to Amaranth, "m-maybe they sh-should, too. Th-they're just regular c-citzens." The Servine thinks on this for a moment and shrugs. "Ehh...I su..."

She's interrupted as the mayor's assistant arrives at the scene. It's a little surprising to see her out and about like that, though not really uncommon. It's just...neat, she guesses. "Heya, Ms. Amy! We...we got someone! Yea!"

Taylor B, meanwhile, upon seeing the mayor approaching, recalls a connection the others may not have been privy to. "Oh, no..." Taylor B had totally forgotten about that. He covers his face in embarrassment...it's not important to the case, but...it's not a situation he himself would like to be in if he were Amy...or that guy's neighbor...or that lady's daughter...suffice to say, this happens a lot on the job.
