"Good Morning, Grigori", Noriaki responded, "I slept... Rather well, for once. I had a most pleasant dream, although it does bring a bit of... Melancholy for me. Given that it was simply a moment of solace from my problems, meanwhile said problems are still out there and I am heading straight towards them."
Anyone going to the lobby for breakfast would be served something simple and clearly homemade from berries and the like.

I got up and entered the hallway to find Lane, Marlon, and Marsha. ”Morning guys!” I greeted them collectively.

( I wake up after only getting probably...three or four hours of sleep maximum the night before. If I wasn't tossing and turning while anticipating the next morning, I was having terrible nightmares involving freezing before fighting L'Arachel or one of her minions and being killed, assimilated, or eaten. And if I wasn't having nightmares about that, I was having nightmares about Lucy being irrevocably damaged by our adventures with Eliot and his friends...)
( I look over to see if Eliot is up, but I cannot tell at the moment. I rather groggily step out of mine and Eliot's room (forgetting to put my blouse and glasses on initially and having to run back to get them), and begin trudging down the main hall, finding Marlon, Lane, Castaway, and Marsha.)
Gughhh... ( I try to greet them, but only let out an exhausted sounding groan.)

(Morning sure came sooner than I was expecting. I wake up, get a bit confused because I don't see Delilah, then remember she's in Gleamscape. I look over to see Sunny still in bed.)
Uh, Sunny? Are you up? (I ask her.)
(She sits up.)
Hmm...? Oh, oui... (She replies.) Shall we be finding the others?
Yeah...hope they aren't already having breakfast... (I say, jumping out of bed and hitting the floor with a splat.)
(I waddle out our door and use my antennae to knock on all three doors at once.) Hey guys, you up? (I ask.)
(I don't hear Rich, but I do hear Maran buzzing loudly buzzing and throwing open the door to his and Cortez's room.) Bzzz?? Did I oversleep?
Heh, no, we were just seeing if you guys were up yet. (I say.)
Oh, the boss and I are up...I think... (Maran says, looking back at Cortez...who is still asleep.) Oh, bzz, give me a second...
(As we wait, I notice a folded up piece of paper on the ground.) What's that? (I ask.)
(Sunny picks it up and looks at it. After a few seconds, I'm a bit taken aback to see her suddenly turn furious and tear the paper up.)
Whoa! What was it? (I ask, confused.)
It was nothing, Monsieur Goobert... (Sunny responds.) How did he know I was here??
(I'm confused about who "he" is, but don't press her about it.)
Blissparce (Dos Santos Manor)
(Dinah isn't the only one who has not had a very pleasant evening. She gets up out of her bed, replaces her gold tank-top with a clean purple one with a pink Beutifly pattern on it, and leaves her bedroom to see if her siblings are up. Her mind is still on who may have killed Izzy.)

(I looked outside and replied.) Same. There wasn't any voice to mock me, no death, no anguish just... peace. (I paused for a moment before continuing, with a sigh of melancholy.) But today's not the day for peace, now is it? (I turn to him.) Let's get ourselves some food, eh? We'll worry about her when we get to it.
(Eliza would soon leave the room and head down to the lobby, looking pristine for the most part, with the cut on her cheek healed rather well. She nodded her head to the chef as she started her breakfast. From the next table over, Arsene had a light breakfast of a few berries and grains. He did not approach Eliza, feeling that he already gave her enough grief last night.)

Noriaki nodded and headed out to the lobby where everyone else was.
It was now set up as a dining area for the guests that had woken up for breakfast.
Noriaki went ahead and got himself a simple few poffins.
... The food was rather quaint in how simplistic and homemade it felt. It was by no means gourmet food, but had it's own sort of... Charm.
Meanwhile, Soten and Nephenee were also awake and eating breakfast among everyone else.
"So, the agenda for today is just strategy and preparation for the mornin', maybe with training for those that need it, and then later we head out to Narcia, right?", said Soten before taking another huge bite from his sandwich.
"Sounds about right, big guy", Nephenee responded, "But strictly speaking about right now... Let's just relax and have breakfast, alright?"
"I'm in no rush, kiddo, just gathering the thoughts, y'know..."
Mila
"It's, well... I was thinking that I should actually learn how to use my abilities, so I don't accidentally hurt people. But I know you don't like fighting, so I don't want to do it if you don't want me too."
Mila realizes too late that she doesn't actually know how to handle this situation, and considers dropping it before steeling herself to the consequences, reminding herself that if she can't get through this, it's hopeless to even try to learn to control her abilities in combat.
I need to update these things more often

...Eventually we get to breakfast, where Noriaki and the mercs already were. How’d they even get ahead of us? Taking a few pofffins for the two of us, and helping Dinah find something to drink we sit down with the Mercenaries and listen to their plan.
And da Venonat we spoke ta yesterday did point us in the direction of dis Dorian guy’s office, too.
Marsha points out.
Kevin walks in as well, pulls a seat out so Castaway can sit, and sits down himself.

After putting on her own rank top, Tiff stumbles out of her bedroom to find Mia.

Ugh...I did not sleep well last night... ( I moan. I really wish Benji and Lucy were here...)
( I follow them into the kithcen...blargh, dining room and fix myself a large cup of coffee. I unknowingly dump six spoons of salt into my coffee, grab two Poffins (and a wax Oran berry from a bowl on the table) and head to sit down with everyone else.)
( I take a sip of my coffee and UGH! UGH! UGH!! UGH!!! I make a mad dash to the nearest window and spit my nasty cup of coffee out through it. Ugh...I thought that was sugar...well...at least I'm awake now...)
( I join the others at the table.) What's going on now?

(Maran finally comes back out, holding (the still sleeping) Cortez.)
I thought he wazzz up... (Maran says.) Must have gone back to bed when I wazzn't looking...
(Sunny regains her composure.) Well...let us go and have breakfast then, oui? (She says.)
But Rich and Dieter might not be up yet. (I point out.)
(But of course, who should show up out of their door but Rich.) 'Hoy, mateys. How are ye doin' this mornin'?
Oh, hey, Rich. (I say.) Is Dieter...erm, Salty up yet?
Not yet. They'll be up soon, though. (Rich says.) Told us that we can go ahead and eat. They'll be a bit.
Well...whatever you say, Rich. (I say.) Well, let's head down, I guess. I figure Salty and Tilly and Lilly will catch up soon...
(I begin heading to the stairs.)
(Maran notices Sunny with shredded pieces of paper in her hands as he and Rich follow (with him still carrying Cortez).) Bzz, what's with the paper?
A certain someone left me a note saying that he was still available... (Sunny tells Maran.) Ooh, that mon...!!! Ze nerve! Ze cowardice! Ze...!!! [-Hrrgh!!!
Bzz, take it easy, Sunny. We'll take care of him if he shows up again... (Maran says.)

(Upon arriving at the dining area of the inn (which is mostly empty except for those two Pawniards and a carrier Pidgey, who I notice is looking in my direction), we begin gathering our food.)

A bitter look appears on Autumn's face as she gives a small glare. "If you choose to, I can't stop you. But I'm not participating in that."
She crawls out of bed , walking to the door. "I'm going to get something to eat."

“Thanks, Kevin,” I said appreciatively as I sat down. Then as I munched on toast slathered with chocolate spread, I listened to the plan.
Mila
"I know, it's— I'm sorry... it's not that I want to fight, I just hate feeling like there's nothing I can do to help. Whenever I try, I'm just as likely to hurt everyone around me as I am to help. I don't want that, but I don't want to hurt anyone else either."
Mila seems defeated by Autumn's disapproval, and her response is hasty albeit genuine. Hearing that she's going to go eat, Mila stays in the room for a while before following, not wanting to hound her if the discussion has upset her in some way.
I need to update these things more often

"That's great, then", said Soten, stroking his chin, "So we know directly where to go, and it should be unguarded for the most part... Then again, given how Dorian is, I imagine his office building wouldn't be too hard to find. That sack of greed always wants more of everything, any building of his would probably be practically made of gold or somethin'."
"It's because of him Soten and I don't really have any place to call home", Nephenee added in, "There was a few Holstown-like villages nearby before Narcia started expanding it's business and construction ventures. Soten had to go and become a wandering mercenary here, although Holstown is pretty close-ish to home. At least, as close it gets for us."
"I don't even know if Nephenee here was livin' in those villages or not", the gruff Armaldo explained, "I just found her as a little Venipede in the aftermath of everyone there losing their homes, no parents or nothing."
The older mercenary, the Dustox, chimed in, "I've just been in the mercenary business for ages, I was more than happy to train these two, especially given their circumstances."
Noriaki looks on as the mercenaries explain their stories, feeling a bit sad from the circumstances Dorian drove them to.
Lane's gone ahead and gone up to get some breakfast as the others also did so, and finds an open spot; he then proceeds to try and get a dish pulled over to him with one wing.
(I'm juuuust a little bothered here about going into what seems to be something kinda dangerous from what they're saying...but at least we're not going up against this L'Arachel yet by the sound of it. Although, with how Dinah seems to be, maybe it is something I should be more worried about than I am.)
Say...anyone know if those two, Niles and, uh, Dana, I think, if they're doing all right?

( That is...quite a plan. Also, this Dorian fellow, now that I've heard more of him and what he did to this town, sounds like a real piece of work.) Oh...wow, I thought fellows like him only existed in my books...he sounds terrible.
Oh, speaking of training, will we all be able to do that before we do this? ( I make sure to ask. "I don't want to feel like a useless bundle of nerves..."'')
( I look around for Nyquil and Dana since Lane asked and Castaway commented on this, but I don't see either of them in the dining room.) I guess they aren't up yet...
( I also find myself identifying with Nephenee a bit since she also seems to have been an orphan like myself. Perhaps I could speak with her once this all blows over?)

(Upon sitting down, I notice the carrier Pidgey going up to me.)
Bzz, looks like that letter's for you, Mr. Scales. (Maran says to me.)
I guess so... (I say. I realize the letter is from Marlon
and open it up. My face falls as I read it.)
Wow... (I say.) Man, they didn't even go a whole day before they got into trouble again...and Marlon lost his Mega Stone, too. That stinks...
Arr... (Rich shakes his head.) Guess that's jest how th' ball bounces, matey. Hope they're all doin' okay.
Makes me wonder how Dinah's handling this since she's there by herself without Benji and Lucy... (I say.)
(Cortez wakes up and glares at Tim and Don for a moment before digging into the food Maran gathered for him.)

Hey, fellas! (Benji calls.) Time tuh get up, just sayin'!!
(Benji and the others are in an inn room in Gleamscape, having arrived there extremely late the night before and not being able to talk to Renata before going to bed.)
Woohoo! (June chirps, springing out of bed.) So what're we gonna do today? Go swimmin'? Do tricks for everybody? What?
Aw, I wanna sleep some more... (Lucy groans.)
Well, first thing we need tuh do is talk tuh Renata like we were s'posed to do. (Benji says.)
Oh yeah... (Lucy says, sitting up, rubbing her eyes, and rubbing the eyes of Ricky, her plush Arbok.)
(He walks over to Delilah and tries to shake her awake.) Del? Hey Del...?
(Delilah groans and rolls over onto her stomach.)
Don't make me wake ya up as Marj again, Del... (Benji says, chuckling.)
-Zzzsrmagrrshagrraargghararr... (Delilah growls incoherently.)
(Benji begins to noisily morph into Marjorie by Delilah's bed. Delilah finally sits up.) Okay, okay, fine, I'm up... (She groans.)
Don't ya remember what we need to do today? (Benji asks her.) Ya know...invite your mom to go tuh Danjor Island...?
(Delilah's eyes go open wide.) Oh! Oh! That's right...! I'm sorry! (Delilah gets up and begins putting on her trademark swimsuit in a hurry.)
Heh, maybe I should do that to wake her up every time... (Benji jokes.)

"Yeah, we can definitely get some training done in the morning, it's only in the afternoon we should start carryin' our our plans", Soten responded to Dinah, taking another bite of his sandwich, "Probably after we finish up the most important meal of the day here."
Nephenee couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Soten not just saying "breakfast".
Noriaki also looks around for Nyquil and Dana, saying, "Hm, mayhap it would be a good idea to check on them. I suppose I could."
Stuffing another poffin in his mouth, Noriaki walked over to the room he recalls Dana and Nyquil being carried to for treatment and knocking on the door.
"Hello", he called through the door, "Dana, Nyquil? Are you awake?"

[...morning. I expect someone else to be beside me...not Dinah, of course, someone else. But that's not the case...I'm starting to get worried here...]
[I take this moment to stretch myself, get out a small crick in my back...heaving a sigh, I swivel my bottom around and push myself off the bed, grab my stuff, throw on and fasten my shawl, rub my face...I still feel fucking exhausted, and my stomach is in knots with hunger. I'm about ready to eat my shoe, if those were even a thing here...]
[...wait, Jack has shoes. I'll eat his. I step out of the room, and immediately, the aroma of food greets me. I falter a little, my knees getting weak...lord, I need food or I'm gonna start eating whatever I can get my hands on. Plus I'd be able to cook them in my hands if I got my hands on them...it's the perfect crime.]
...Woodruff awakes after having the worst sleep he's had in forever. He simply lays there, groaning to himself, in that uncomfortable stage where you're too alert to go back to sleep but too tired to move yourself out of bed.
He remembers the nightmare he had woken up from like it was a movie playing in his mind. He was out swimming, as usual, and an undertow had pulled him out far from shore. He tried desperately to swim back, but the waves kept pulling him further and further from shore. Something loomed behind him, threatening to pull him under, some malevolent force that breathed down his back, sending chills up his spine. And noise like discordant buzzing, like metal grating surrounded him on either side. His arms were getting weak, his goggles had fallen off, every other breath was less a breath and him choking down water.
Somehow, he managed to make it back. Whatever malevolent force was there had disappeared, or had simply moved from behind him. The buzzing turned to a low hum. He looked into the town from the shore...only to find it ablaze. And then he woke up.
He rubs his eyes, uncurls himself. Lifelessly, he saunters out of the room and out into the main hall...
[I follow the smell back towards the lobby, where I see a dining area has been set up for us. I sink even further in ravenous hunger, then straighten myself up before taking a seat beside...whoever and beginning to stuff my face with as many Poffin Puffs as I can grab, feeling immediately better and overhearing bits and pieces of their conversation (I think one of them's named...Nefeney? Nephenee...?)]
"Yo," [I simply chime in. I'm momentarily startled when the legs of the chair beside me scrape the floor as if being pulled back...which is exactly what's happening...and it's Woodruff.] "Oh, heya, Woodruff." [I give him another look over...good lord, he looks out of it. Dead, baggy, half-closed eyes, a thousand yard stare that could pierce a fallout bunker, his mouth twisted into this slight, long frown...]
[Deciding to help him out, I grab another Puff and put it in front of his mouth. He just glances at me.] "Ma'am, can you not?" [Ma'am? He should know it's...oh, right. His eyes go back to staring ahead.] "I'm not hungry anyway."
"Oh..." [Without a word, not even a potentially necessary connection, I simply scarf down the Puff myself and look back to Nephenee and...the other guy. And the other, other guy.] "Sooo, uhh...I guess we're gonna work something out for this, uhh...attack." Woodruff's eyes light up, and he starts feeling more alert. Attack? He double-takes the Salazzle he just sat down beside...that was the...cloak-thing Eliot was wearing yesterday. He leans over to try and get a look at his(?) eyes...]
Fallo Ter, The Antechamber
Walking over towards one of the paintings, one less tattered than the others, Delara gingerly places her hand on the canvas, waxing it across as dust pools up on her hand. She removes it from the canvas and shakes the dust off her hand. With an almost childlike wonder, she slowly spins and gazes around the room before focusing on the panel. She approaches it along with the others.
"This would need electricity, I believe. That's what I heard from stories about the times before...but I doubt it's that simple..." For a moment, she's stumped. If push comes to shove, she's half-tempted to simply Grow, grab a couple paintings off the wall and make a run for it, but she has a feeling it won't come to that.

Dana awakens. She slept pretty well last night after the chat with Nephenee, but she still couldn't shake the feeling something was off.. That feeling only grew stronger when she looked over and noticed Niles was still gone.
.. M.. Maybe he woke up before me again and he's outside? I am kind of a heavy sleeper..
Trying to shake her growing unease, Noriaki's call prompts her to get out of bed.
"Yeah, I just woke up, I should be out in a s.."
Dana's words die in her mouth. If Noriaki's asking where Niles is, then...
Dana opens the door.
"Hey, do you know if anyone's seen Niles since last night?"

Lane yawns and stretches out his a—his wings, rather, still getting used to that, and having been different in the dream, what he remembers of it anyway, doesn't help there. He doesn't get out of bed, but looks around the room which he hadn't really paid much attention to the previous night.
...what time is it?
Not really asked at anyone in particular, merely wondering out loud. After a bit more of, well, not doing much, Lane gets up (well, sort of rolls out of the bed) and wanders out into the hallway to see if anyone else is there also.
